Abstract

Inclusive and diverse communities are vital for sustainable development. Supporting people with disabilities through community initiatives is crucial. Social entrepreneurship can be an effective tool for empowering individuals with disabilities and raising public awareness about social and economic diversity. This community service project in the form of Sociopreneurship Exhibition at Taman Bungkul Surabaya brought together people with disabilities, entrepreneurs, and the community The aim of this activity was to foster direct interaction between entrepreneurs and the wider community, and to provide a deeper understanding of the importance of inclusivity and diversity in social and economic life. The exhibition successfully raised public awareness of social inclusion and diversity, connected people with disabilities and entrepreneurs, and created opportunities for public participation in inclusive economic activities. The exhibition's interactive activities helped the public understand the importance of inclusivity and encouraged collaboration between entrepreneurs and people with disabilities. This not only promoted businesses but also raised public awareness about the significance of social inclusion in economic and social life

Abstract

In Indonesia, people with disabilities continue to face significant challenges in achieving financial independence, with only a small percentage able to secure formal employment. Tiara Handicraft, managed by the Tiara Bina Karya Foundation, provides income to workers with disabilities through handicraft production but struggles with market access, financial management, and motivation. This community service program adopted a structured and interactive approach to address these issues which engaged all employees and the owner, demonstrating strong interest in financial independence and motivation. Conducted in three stages—preparation, implementation, and evaluation—the program empowered participants by boosting work motivation, recognizing their potential, and helping them overcome societal stigmas

Abstract

The growing global concern for sustainability is particularly acute in the fashion industry, often viewed as a major contributor to environmental degradation. In response, eco-green products emerged, prioritizing sustainable practices and minimizing harm to the environment. To effectively market these products, it's crucial to enhance knowledge and skills in eco-green marketing. This community service program at Namira Ecoprint Surabaya aims to combine sustainability with effective marketing, raising consumer awareness about eco-friendly products and their benefits. This community service program has successfully raised awareness and understanding of effective marketing strategies, the advantages of sustainable products, and how eco-friendly products can stand out.
