Abstract

This research was conducted on grade 2B students of SDI Harekakae. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR) which refers to Kurt Lewin's model. The main concept of Lewin's Action Research Model consists of four components, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collection techniques in this study were observation, tests, and documentation, and the data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative analysis. Based on the results of observations in cycle I, it shows that the average of only 10.25 students (51.25%) were active in the teaching and learning process. This indicates that students' activeness in learning is still lacking. However, the results of observations in cycle II show that on average almost all students were active in the teaching and learning process, increasing to 18.75 students (93.75%). In accordance with the learning outcomes of cycle I, it can be seen that the students' learning outcomes in cycle I have not yet reached or have not been able to meet the minimum completeness criteria determined, which is 80%. After making improvements in cycle II, there is a very significant increase where from the learning outcomes in cycle I only 11 students (55%) were complete, then in cycle II students who were complete according to the Minimum Completeness Criteria as many as 18 students (90%). This indicates that students who have completed the learning in cycle II have exceeded or answered the success indicator of 90% of the predetermined success indicator is 80%.

Abstract

Thesis by Gisela Nana, Nim 2386206182 entitled “ The influence of the media images of the students learning in subjects IPA about animal classification according to the type of food in class IV SDI Manumuti Malaka District”. This research of this study is to determine the students learning outcomes after using picture media in science subject on animal classfication based of food types. The method used the quantitative descriptive method. This study was conducted in SDI Manumuti, Umanen Lawalu Village, District Malaka Tengah, District of malaka. Data collection technique is a test and analysis technique used are simple linear regression statistical analysis. From the results of the study prove that as many as 18 people or 99% of students gaining higt grades in learning outcomes, whereas 1 or equal to 1% less value in learning outcomes. It is evident from the results of test calculations of  Fcount  = 5,70 which is significantly larger than the Ftable at the significant level of 5% N= 18 at 4,49 or equal to Fcount  ≥ Ftable  or 5,70 ≥ 4,49. Based on the above results the value of Fcount  is greater than Ftable namely Fcount = 5,70 and F table =4,49. Then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It can be concluded that there is the influence of the media images of the students learning in subjects IPA about animal classifacation according to the type of food in class IV SDI Manumuti Malaka District.

The research subjects were 20 first-grade students, while the object of the study was improving student discipline. The research instruments included observation guidelines, documentation studies, and interview guidelines. The results showed that the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile significantly improved student discipline. In the first cycle, the average student discipline score reached 73.91, with a minimum discipline percentage of 84.56%, of which 55% had achieved the discipline indicator. In cycle II, the average score increased to 84.46, with a minimum discipline percentage of 94.54%. Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between students, educators, and learning resources in a learning environment. The effectiveness of learning is greatly influenced by the teacher's ability to manage the class. At SDI Manumuti, a third-grade teacher demonstrated good classroom management in thematic learning, especially on the theme of caring for living things. Classroom management is an important factor in creating a conducive learning atmosphere so that the learning process can take place optimally. This study aims to explore more deeply the role of teachers in managing the class in thematic learning. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and interviews, while data analysis was carried out inductively through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that teachers play an important role in creating and maintaining conducive classroom conditions. These efforts are carried out through two main strategies. First, teachers prioritize three aspects in learning, namely: (1) strengthening character education through discussion activities that encourage students to appear in front of the class, thereby fostering self-confidence, discipline, and activeness; (2) strengthening literacy through reading materials or stories related to the theme at the beginning of the meeting; and (3) the application of 4C skills (Creative, Critical thinking, Communicative, and Collaborative) through varied learning activities, including learning outside the classroom to avoid boredom. Second, teachers often use discussion methods to train students to express opinions, speak in front of the class, and work together. This method is considered effective in building students' self-confidence and social skills.
