Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peta perkembangan penelitian tentang sejarah lembaga pendidikan Islam di Vosviewers dengan memperoleh data melalui Dimensions. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April 2023 dengan melakukan penelusuran melalui database Dimensions dengan kata kunci sejarah lembaga pendidikan Islam. Hasil pencarian kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan tahun terbit, nama lembaga dan negara yang menerbitkan jurnal/publikasi hasil penelitian, jenis dokumen, dan topik penelitian. Untuk mendapatkan peta perkembangan penelitian ini, data diekspor dalam format file Comma Separated Values (CVS). Kemudian hasil data yang telah diekspor dan diolah tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan program aplikasi VOSViewer dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui peta bibliometrik perkembangan penelitian sejarah lembaga pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan sumber melalui studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan penelitian sejarah lembaga pendidikan Islam sudah ada sejak tahun 2014 dan mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2020. Pada tahun 2020 terdapat 45 artikel yang diduplikasi. Kata kunci yang menjadi tren yang digunakan oleh para peneliti adalah Islam, Pesantren, dan Indonesia.

Abstract

The academic competence of lecturers is crucial for student success and the overall quality of education. This study aims to explore how the practice of muraqabah can enhance the pedagogical competence of lecturers, specifically those at Islamic universities in Sumatera, Indonesia. A qualitative, phenomenological approach was employed, using semi-structured and open-ended interviews to collect data from four participants. The interview transcripts were analyzed thematically. The findings revealed that muraqabah practice positively impacted lecturers, enhancing their attitudes, ethical values, empathy, and communication skills. It also promoted the development of professional academic qualities such as discipline, responsibility, tolerance, and compliance. Participants reported an improved ability to integrate moral values into their teaching practice, thereby contributing to their pedagogical competence. This study underscores the potential of murâqabah as a tool for developing pedagogical skills in higher education. Its findings imply that incorporating murâqabah practices into professional development programs for lecturers can strengthen their academic and pedagogical capabilities, ultimately benefiting the learning environment in higher education institutions in Sumatera, Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the process of Bai’at of educators in the Sammaniyah Tariqah and its implications for changes in educator competence in Jambi Province, Indonesia. This study used a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. The research participants consisted of four educators who had participated in the Bai’at process of Sammaniyah Tariqah. Data were collected through semi-structured and unstructured interviews. Data analysis was conducted using a thematic analysis approach that refers to Braun and Clarke's theory through six steps: data coding, theme identification, review, theme naming, and reporting. The results show that the Bai’at process involves two main stages: first, the process of commitment or agreement made by the educator to carry out his duties and responsibilities with full seriousness, covering aspects of ethics, morals, and dzikr practice according to the stages set by the murshid. Second, the implication of this Bai’at is an increase in confidence and deep knowledge in education. The recommendation from this study is the need for continuous training for educators to maximize the benefits of Bai’at in educational practice.

Abstract

The achievements of the Kerinci Regency MTQ caravan at the provincial level had been degraded from 10 districts and cities. Kerinci occupies the last rank, namely 10 in 2023, and in 2024 it would rank 7th. This study explores how to develop strategies for achieving the achievements of the Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) caravan in the Kerinci district at the Jambi provincial level. This study used qualitative descriptive with semi-structured and unstructured data collection to explore data from participants by purposive sampling set by four people. The participant's names were created under a pseudonym to maintain their confidentiality. The results of the interviews were analyzed using the theories of data coding, theme identification, review, theme naming, and reporting. The results show the importance of an integrated strategy to improve the achievement of the Kerinci Regency Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) caravan at the Jambi Province level. The main steps include recruiting competent coaches, involving local and provincial coaches, and selecting potential participants to ensure the best quality. The coaching is carried out on an ongoing basis with a technical and mental approach, which local and provincial trainers coordinate. The coaching time is longer than six steps, with one wave lasting from five to 30 days and distributed within three months. Implementing a planned and directed strategy, Kerinci Regency has an excellent opportunity to improve the achievements of MTQ caravans sustainably at the provincial level to improve the achievements of MTQ caravans sustainably at the provincial level. Abstrak. Prestasi kafilah MTQ Kabupaten Kerinci di tingkat provinsi telah mengalami penurunan dari 10 kabupaten dan kota. Kerinci menempati peringkat terakhir, yaitu peringkat 10 pada tahun 2023, dan pada tahun 2024 mengalami perbaikan mendapatkan peringkat 7. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana mengembangkan strategi untuk mencapai prestasi kafilah Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) di Kabupaten Kerinci pada tingkat provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data semi-terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur untuk mengeksplorasi data dari peserta yang dipilih secara purposive sampling yang terdiri dari empat orang. Nama-nama peserta dibuat dengan menggunakan nama samaran untuk menjaga kerahasiaan mereka. Hasil wawancara dianalisis menggunakan teori pengkodean data, identifikasi tema, tinjauan, penamaan tema, dan pelaporan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya strategi terintegrasi untuk meningkatkan prestasi kafilah Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) Kabupaten Kerinci di tingkat Provinsi Jambi. Bagian pertama merekrut pelatih yang kompeten, melibatkan pelatih lokal dan provinsi, serta memilih peserta yang berpotensi untuk memastikan kualitas terbaik. Bagian kedua, pembinaan dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan pendekatan teknis dan mental, yang dikoordinasikan oleh pelatih lokal dan provinsi. Waktu pembinaan lebih dari enam gelombang, dengan satu gelombang berlangsung dari lima hingga 30 hari dan dibagi dalam tiga bulan. Dengan menerapkan strategi yang terencana dan terarah, Kabupaten Kerinci memiliki peluang yang baik untuk meningkatkan prestasi kafilah MTQ secara berkelanjutan di tingkat provinsi.
