Abstract

A teaching strategy called Teams Games Tournament (TGT) splits students into groups of five to six people with a range of skill levels. According to observations, this teaching strategy had not been used before, but the researcher used it in this investigation. The purpose of the study was to ascertain if the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) teaching paradigm affected the long serve abilities of the eighth-grade badminton players at MTs Negeri 16 Jombang. This study used a one-group pretest-posttest design, which is a quantitative quasi-experimental method. Students in the eighth grade from class VIII A at MTs Negeri 16 Jombang made up the research sample. With an average pretest score of 19.90, classified as low, and an average posttest score of 21.16, classified as high, the findings demonstrated a considerable change. A significant difference in the students' abilities before and after the TGT teaching model was implemented was shown by the significance value (sig) = 0.052, > 0.05, which was obtained from the data analysis using SPSS version 25. As a result, the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) teaching methodology has a good impact on the long serve badminton abilities of the eighth-grade students at MTs Negeri 16 Jombang, rejecting the null hypothesis (Ho) and accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interest of students in differentiated learning on manipulative motion material toss catch the ball bounce in Grade 2 SD Negeri Wonojoyo 2. Differentiated learning is designed to meet the needs of students who are diverse in learning abilities and styles. The research method used is descriptive quantitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that differentiated learning was able to increase students ' interest in manipulative motion materials. This is shown through increased student active participation, enthusiasm during learning, and the level of student understanding of the material taught. This study contributes to the development of more inclusive and effective learning methods in primary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar psikomotor passing bawah bola voli melalui modifikasi bola plastik pada siswa kelas V SDN Ngronggo 5. Permasalahan utama dalam pembelajaran adalah rendahnya psikomotor passing bawah siswa akibat rasa takut terhadap bola voli standar yang berat dan keras serta metode pembelajaran yang kurang variatif. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan menggunakan bola plastik sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode penelitian ini mengadopsi model PTK Kemmis & McTaggart dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 siswa kelas V SDN Ngronggo 5. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes keterampilan psikomotor passing bawah bola voli. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan passing bawah siswa. Rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari 73,2 (39% ketuntasan) pada prasiklus menjadi 80,3 (71% ketuntasan) pada siklus 1, dan mencapai 85,7 (100% ketuntasan) pada siklus 2. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan modifikasi bola plastik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar psikomotor, motivasi, kepercayaan diri, serta partisipasi aktif siswa.
