Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at a Junior High School in Palangka Raya, with a focus on developing students' characters who care about the environment. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews with the P5 coordinator and observations over three months. The results showed that the garden-building project taught students about cooperation and responsibility and provided practical gardening and time management skills. Despite weather changes, budget limitations, and time management challenges, students still showed high enthusiasm and commitment. The project is an effective means of character education, forming students who care about the environment and have a spirit of cooperation. It is hoped that this experience can equip students with a positive and sustainable attitude in maintaining cleanliness and environmental sustainability in the future, which aligns with P5's goal of creating good citizenship.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) usage on student learning behavior and academic integrity at SMP Negeri 8 Palangka Raya. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observations and structured interviews. Observations were made to understand how students use AI to complete tasks and the role of teachers in guiding ethical technology use. The findings show that AI facilitates task completion, but its misuse may undermine academic honesty and students' critical thinking skills. Teachers play a crucial role in teaching the ethics of technology use and maintaining academic integrity. One effective method found is asking students to explain their work and cross-check it with AI platforms to detect plagiarism. Research recommendations include improving digital ethics education for students and teachers, establishing clear policies on AI use in learning, and providing training for teachers. Future research is recommended to examine the long-term effects of AI on student development. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak penggunaan kecerdasan buatan terhadap perilaku belajar dan integritas akademik siswa di SMP Negeri 8 Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara terstruktur. Observasi dilakukan untuk memahami bagaimana kecerdasan buatan digunakan siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas, serta peran guru dalam mengarahkan penggunaan teknologi secara etis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kecerdasan buatan mempermudah penyelesaian tugas, namun penggunaannya yang tidak bijak berpotensi menurunkan kejujuran akademik dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Guru berperan penting dalam mengajarkan etika penggunaan teknologi dan menjaga integritas akademik. Salah satu metode efektif yang ditemukan adalah meminta siswa menjelaskan kembali tulisan mereka dan mencocokkannya dengan platform kecerdasan buatan untuk mendeteksi plagiarisme. Rekomendasi penelitian mencakup peningkatan pendidikan etika digital bagi siswa dan guru, penyusunan kebijakan penggunaan kecerdasan buatan dalam pembelajaran, serta pelatihan bagi guru. Peneliti lanjutan disarankan untuk mengkaji dampak jangka panjang kecerdasan buatan pada perkembangan siswa.
