Abstract

This research examines the social and psychological impacts experienced by women in the practice of nikah muhallil and evaluates the role of Islamic law in providing protection for them. Through a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and case studies, this research found that women involved in nikah muhallil often face social stigma, psychological pressure, and a lack of understanding and access to legal aid. The research results show that the practice of nikah muhallil causes significant emotional instability and social isolation for women. In addition, this research reveals differences in views between schools of thought regarding the validity of muhallil marriages, which adds to the complexity and ambiguity of the law. The proposed recommendations include increased public education and awareness, stricter law enforcement, and the provision of comprehensive support services for affected women. Clearer and firmer legal reforms are needed to ensure the protection of women's rights and improve their social and psychological well-being in the context of Islamic marriage.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the presence of the effeminate in Yogyakarta has begun to become a common sight. This effeminate community consists of a group of students who have similar preferences and characteristics to the nature and appearance of women. The aim of this research is to provide an overview and information regarding the communication patterns formed by members of the effeminate student community so that they can adapt in the community environment. This research uses qualitative methodology with a phenomenological approach to understand the subjective experiences and perceptions of community members. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and participant observation, then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that the effeminate community is divided into 2 levels, namely level 1 and level 2 which have gay sexuality. The process of community communication patterns is different at each level to deal with social stigma and create a safe space for themselves. Communication patterns in effeminate communities involve the use of special language and symbols. Thus, this research provides new information in the form of the composition of communication patterns adopted by the effeminate student community at each level, including their barriers to communication which are influenced by environmental and internal factors.

Abstract

Batik Wiryo memiliki usaha yang menjual sebuah maha karya batik tulis, nama Wiryo itu sendiri diambil dari nama ibu pemilik usaha. Batik Wiryo masih menggunakan manual dalam melakukan pendataan dan pengelolaan transaksi, sebab itu penulis membuat sebuah aplikasi yang nantinya untuk memudahkan proses pendataan dan pengolaan transaksi secara efektif, efisien dan penyimpanan data dimasukan ke dalam database. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa sistem yang digunakan pada Batik Wiryo, dan memberikan solusi yang mempermudah dalam melakukan proses transaksi. Oleh karena itu, melalui suatu sistem berkomputer yang diperlukan bisa melewati permasalahan saat ini. Serta memberikan solusi terbaik demi meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dan juga bermanfaat untuk kenyamanan pelanggan. Sekarang bisa dengan mudah dalam melakukan pendataan dan perhitungan transaksi karena data dapat disimpan dalam database sehingga memudahkan admin dalam melakukan pengelolaan transaksi pada Batik Wiryo. Metodologi akan digunakan untuk merancang Sistem Informasi Transaksi dengan menggunakan cara menganalisa data dan investigasi lapangan. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model waterfall karena model ini sangat cocok dan mudah untuk melakukan pengembangan. Penyusun juga berharap semoga aplikasi Sistem Informasi Transaksi ini dapat menambah kinerja admin Batik Wiryo. Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi, Aplikasi Kasir, Java

Abstract

The certification of halal products is essential for increasing consumer trust and market competitiveness, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). UMKM Manisan Bligo, a small business producing traditional candied winter melon, faces challenges in obtaining halal certification due to limited knowledge and resources. This community service program aimed to assist Manisan Bligo in the halal certification process through capacity building, document preparation, and procedural compliance. The implementation method using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involved training sessions, consultations, and direct assistance in fulfilling certification requirements. As a result, the business successfully completed the initial stages of certification and improved its understanding of halal production standards. This initiative not only enhances Manisan Bligo’s credibility but also serves as a model for other SMEs seeking halal certification. Strengthening business legality through halal certification is a strategic step to expand market access and support the sustainability of local SMEs.
