Abstract

Background: Effective and painless labor pain management is an important strategy to encourage vaginal delivery and reduce the frequency of cesarean sections. One of the non-pharmacological methods that can be used to reduce labor pain is acupressure, with the BL32 point as one example. Objective: This Evidence Based Case Report (EBCR) aims to determine the effect of acupressure at the BL 32 point on first-stage labor pain. Method: This Evidence Based Case Report (EBCR) uses an evidence search method through PUBMED and Google Scholar based data which collects and analyzes previous research on the application of acupressure at the BL32 point during the first stage of labor with publication years 2014-2023. Results: There were 2 relevant articles according to the inclusion criteria. The author has applied acupressure at the BL32 point to labor pain in mowen giving birth in the first stage at the Garuda Health Center and it was found that the woman’s pain scale before the intervention was 8 while the pain scale after the intervention was 6. Literature studies, systematic reviews and meta-analyses also support that acupressure at the BL32 point can reduce the severity of labor pain in the first stage. Conclusion: The implementation of acupressure at the BL32 point has been proven to reduce pain during the first stage of labor.

Abstract

Angka pernikahan dini di Indonesia pada tahun 2018 adalah 1.220.900. Edukasi pernikahan dini melalui Instagram ataupun TikTok dianggap menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja sehingga mencegah pernikahan dini. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektivitas edukasi pernikahan dini melalui Instagram dan TikTok terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap. Metode penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan two group pretest-postest design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-April 2023. Jumlah sampel adalah 60 responden. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan pada kelompok instagram (14%) maupun tiktok (16%), serta terdapat peningkatan sikap pada kelompok instagram (4%) dan TikTok (3%). Ada pengaruh edukasi pernikahan dini melalui instagram dan tiktok terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap yang ditandai dengan p value<0,05. Edukasi menggunakan TikTok lebih efektif dibandingkan menggunakan instagram dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, sedangkan dalam meningkatkan sikap tidak ada perbedaan efektifitas antara menggunakan instagram maupun tiktok. Simpulan, edukasi melalui instagram dan tiktok efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja tentang pernikahan dini In 2018, the number of early marriages in Indonesia is 1,220,900. Early marriage education through Instagram or TikTok is considered an effective strategy to increase the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents, so can prevent early marriage. The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of early marriage education through Instagram and TikTok on knowledge and attitudes. This research used a Quasi Experiment with a two group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in March-April 2023 with 60 sampels. The results showed that there was an increase in knowledge of Instagram group(14%) and TikTok(16%), and there was an increase in attitude of Instagram group(4%) and TikTok(3%). There was an influence of early marriage education through Instagram and Tiktok on knowledge and attitudes as indicated by p value<0.05. Education using TikTok is more effective than using Instagram in increasing knowledge, whereas in increasing attitudes there is no difference in effectiveness between using Instagram and TikTok. Conclusion, education through Instagram and Tiktok is effective in increasing youth's knowledge and attitudes about early marriage.
