Abstract

Ready To Wear Fantasy Knight Princess The combination of Batik through Aesthetic Studies in Japanese Culture was taken because it was inspired by anime, manga and other stories in Japanese culture with a storyline of a tough princess. That is why the author interested in making a dress that suits the heroine. Even though, it has a simple design and beautiful batik motif but the clothes worn were suitable with the chivalrous spirit. Uniting Indonesian culture with Japanese culture by having aesthetic value on batik motifs. Making Ready To Wear Fantasy Princess Knight has the aim of knowing the suitable of batik motifs into fantasy clothing. This study used a qualitative method which described descriptively. Making Ready To Wear fantasy has the same steps of making clothing as other clothing manufactures. The process of making clothing includes, 1) determining the design, 2) preparing tools and materials, 3) applying measurements, 4) making basic patterns, 5) cutting materials, 6) painting fabrics, 7) merging materials, 8) ironing upholstery, 9 ) sewing clothes, and finishing to become the desired clothing. The process of making tasel ropes in ready to wear fantasy needs to be stretched one by one so that it gets neat results. Besides, when making cloth painting in the ironing process it must be at normal temperature and covered with fabric.

Abstract

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in order to provide additional skills in making wedding souvenirs for delivery organizers. The aim of this activity is to increase knowledge, understanding and skills regarding the manufacture of delivery accessories for delivery management business groups in Semarang district. The results of observations that the author obtained in Semarang Regency are that there are many housewives who have great motivation to be able to have skills but do not yet understand what to do, so that they can be used as provisions to open and develop their business. Through training in making various decorative accessories and wedding souvenirs, they have the opportunity to open a business as an effort to improve their entrepreneurial skills in accepting orders for making wedding souvenirs to improve family welfare. In order to increase women's empowerment in entrepreneurship, it is necessary to provide training in making wedding accessories and souvenirs as well as skills in arranging gifts. This training activity uses interactive lecture methods, practice, question and answer and product evaluation. It is necessary to have knowledge about making accessories and souvenirs, as a business development effort. Therefore, making accessories and souvenirs is very necessary for everyone, not only to increase knowledge but also to increase motivation and increase self-confidence in opening a business.

Abstract

Clothing is a cultural phenomenon that cannot be separated from the meaning of signs. It can be studied using a semiotic approach. A fantasy dress with the source of the Srikandhi puppet idea was associated with a fashion meaning. The purpose of this final project was to know the process of making ready to wear fantasy the new Srikandhi exotic dramatic style using a semiotic approach. The method used in this research was qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, literature, interviews, and documentation. The process of making ready to wear fantasy, the new Srikandhi exotic dramatic style includes; determine fashion design, fashion design analysis, preparation of tools and materials, determine sizes, basic pattern making, material cutting, exhibitions, ironing of upholstery materials, process of sewing clothes, and finishing. Making ready to wear fantasy, the new Srikandhi exotic dramatic style using a semiotic approach must pay attention to various elements, such as designs, motifs, colors, and accessories so that it can be meaningful. The suggestions of this Final Project were; in making fantasy clothing should not eliminate the characteristics of the source of the idea. So that clothing can be created that matches the source of the idea.

Abstract

Ready to wear is ready-to-wear clothing for various occasions with the addition of various interesting variations. One of them is a variation of macrame. Macrame began to be applied to clothing. The problems studied was how the process of making ready-to-wear looks for fantasy and dramatic exotic styles and the application of macrame decorations on clothing. The aim of this report was to know the process of making ready to wear fantasy looks and dramatic exotic styles and the application of macrame decorations to clothing. The method used was R & D. The process of making Ready To Wear includes determining the fashion design, preparing tools and materials, applying measurements, making patterns, cutting materials, marking the stitches on the fabric, ironing upholstery, and sewing clothes. The main materials of this clothes were drill cloth in red, black, white, toyobo fabric in red, black, brown, yellow, and sekar Jagat batik fabric. It used a Japanese anime cartoon fantasy look, Tsundere characters. The style used was Exotic Dramatic Style. The decoration used was macrame. Making macrame was done by hanging it so it did not move. The macrame was made consistently so it did not hang and stretch for too long. The application of macrame to clothing was spread to avoid the spread of macrame. The size of the furing cloth used must be shorter than the main material so that the result was neater.

Abstract

Fantasy dress inspired by the shape of the dome of the Taj Mahal with the addition of Indian embroidered applications featuring typical Indian clothing. The problem raised in the making of this Final Project is how is the Process of Making Fantasy Clothing of Indian Embroidery Variation Using the Source of the Taj Mahal Building Idea? and how to apply variations of Indian embroidery on fantasy clothing?. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of making Indian embroidery variations of fantasy clothing with the taj mahal building as the source of the idea and to determine the application of Indian embroidery variations to fantasy clothing. The method used is observation method, documentation method, library method and data analysis.The process of making this fantasy dress goes through several stages, namely: determining the fashion design, preparing tools and materials, taking measurements, making patterns, cutting the material on the main material, pressing the coating material on the main material, merging, sewing, finishing. While the embroidery on this fantasy dress uses the Zari motif which is a symbol of luxury and elegance. The process of applying embroidery goes through several stages, namely: determining the design, preparing tools and materials, quoting the design, making embroidery on other materials, the process of applying embroidery to clothing, finishing.To produce neat crop top tile wrinkles, it is finished using a small som. The process of installing a skirt or peplum waistband is done by pulling the lower part to adjust the upper part so that it fits the expected design.

Abstract

Evening party clothes are clothes worn at night parties. The fashion made in this final project is evening party dress with a cut above the knee and a spiral variation that adds to the beauty of the outfit. This spiral variation gives a unique impression, simple but still elegant and beautiful when used. The spiral variation is made by cutting the fabric such as insect repellent. The purpose of making this final project is to determine the process of making evening party dresses with spiral variations. The method used in the process of making evening party dresses with spiral variations includes: library methods, observation methods, documentation methods and data analysis. The result of the process of making evening party dresses with spiral variations in the making of this final project is the creation of evening party dresses according to the design made by the author. The process of making evening party dresses with spiral variations is a series of activities which include: determining the design, preparing tools and materials, taking measurements, making basic patterns, breaking patterns, cutting, gluing tricots, meradering, sewing, finishing. The party outfit tonight has two pieces of clothing, namely: a dress and a robe. This evening party dress has a spiral variation that adds to the impression of a unique outfit, simple but still elegant and beautiful when worn.

Abstract

The bridal clothing modification kebaya and lehenga is expected to be an innovation in fashion products and can increase the variety of bridal clothing. The objectives of this study is to knowing the process of making modified bridal dress Kebaya from Indonesia and Lehenga from India. The method used in this research is the R&D method (Research and Development), literature, questionnaires, and documentation. The making of Modified Bridal Dress Kabaya and Lehenga was carried out at the Fashion Laboratory of the Fashion Design Study Program of the Kartini Academy of Social Welfare, st. Sultan Agung, No. 77 Gajah Mungkur Village, Gajah Mungkur District, Semarang City. Data analysis in this research was carried out using descriptive analysis. The result of this research is the kebaya as the superior of the lehenga which is equipped with chunri (shawl). The process of making this modified bridal dress Kabaya and Lehenga includes designing, measuring, making patterns, cutting materials, sewing material that has been patterned or cut, set the application, and finishing by sequencing the Lehenga and kebaya.

Abstract

Morning party dress is a dress worn in the morning and afternoon party occasions. Ready to wera dress are dress made with standard size. Thecottagecore themed ready to wear morning party dress prioritizes the choice of colors and shapes of the dress parts that give a simple impression of cottage life. This morning party dress uses fabric painting as decoration. The fabric painting motif used is a black orchid from Borneo forest. The purpose of making this final project is to find out the The process of making ready to wear themed cottagecore morning party dresses with black orchid fabric painting variation. The method used in this final project is observation method, library method and documentation. The result of this final project is a ready to wear themed cottagecore morning party dresses with black orchid fabric painting variation according to the design made by author. The process of making a ready to wear themed cottagecore morning party dresses with black orchid fabric painting variation is as follows: determining the design, preparing tools and materials, determinig the size, making the basic pattern, pattern drafting, cutting, painting, sewing and finishing.

Abstract

Fabric waste was one type of inorganic waste that was not easily decomposed so it cannot be composted. If destroyed by burning, it will produce smoke and toxic gases that harm the environment. Recycle is an effort made in reducing used clothing waste. The process carried out is to convert used clothing and fabric waste into new products that have use value and selling value. The aim of the study was to convert used clothing and fabric waste into complementary clothing and household linen. The method used is a qualitative method. The recycling process of used clothes is carried out through 3 stages, the orientation stage, the reduction stage, and the selection process. The first process was to create a design, making patterns, cutting used clothes and fabric waste and sewing. The products produced from the research on recycling used clothing and cloth waste are in the form of complementary clothing products and household waste such as totte bags, tissue holders, seat cushion covers and bandanas. Based on the research on recycling used clothes and cloth waste to complement clothing and household waste, researchers can provide several suggestions, including choosing used clothes with various motifs, fabrics that have sharp colors will add innovation in the manufacture of new products. It was recommended to recycle used clothes using a zero waste technique, this technique was intended to minimize new fabric waste, the rest of the recycled used clothes.
