Abstract

The problem of interpersonal communication between mentors and students is a matter of great concern in character formation at Ar Risalah Padang Islamic Boarding School. This study aims to determine the interpersonal communication approach of mentors and students in character formation, to determine the interpersonal communication strategy of mentors and students in character formation, and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of interpersonal communication between mentors and students in character formation at Ar Risalah Padang Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach). The data source was taken from ten informants through in-depth interviews selected using purposive sampling techniques, some informants are teachers and dormitory mentors and some are students at Ar Risalah Padang Islamic Boarding School. The results of the study indicate that the interpersonal communication approach between mentors and students in character formation is by conducting personal, persuasive and motivational communication as well as communication like a family. The interpersonal communication strategy between mentors and students in character building is by implementing rewards and punishments, implementing the 1 day 1 child program, and holding evaluation meetings.

Abstract

This study examines the innovation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) assessment in the Society 5.0 era, focusing on the integration of technology and Islamic values. The research aims to identify forms of PAI assessment innovation, analyze implementation challenges, and formulate optimization strategies. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research was conducted in selected schools/madrasahs, involving PAI teachers, students, and Islamic education experts as research subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results show that PAI assessment innovation has evolved from the use of simple digital platforms to the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and virtual reality technology. The integration of Islamic values in technology-based assessments is realized through the application of digital integrity principles, development of assessments promoting noble character, and incorporation of the tazkiyatun nafs concept in digital self-assessment. The main challenges in implementation include infrastructure limitations, teacher and student readiness, and concerns about over-reliance on technology. Strategies developed to overcome these challenges include digital competency enhancement programs for PAI teachers, collaboration with technology experts, and a phased approach to innovation implementation. Stakeholder perceptions of PAI assessment innovation tend to vary, with students showing enthusiasm, while teachers and parents have more cautious views.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas tentang konsep dakwah menurut Islam dan peran media sosial dalam berdakwah. Secara mendasar, dakwah meliputi isi (esensi) dan cara (metode). Isi (materi) memang harus disampaikan sesuai dengan sumber normativitas agama, namun juga dituntut adanya kontekstualisasi. Apalagi metode penyampaiannya, harus senantiasa seiring dan selaras dengan perkembangan zaman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; dakwah merupakan sebuah kewajiban bagi setiap muslim. Dakwah juga harus dilakukan dengan cara-cara yang arif dan bijaksana, tidak konfrontatif, diskriminatif dan provokatif. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi melalui media sosial dapat mendorong dinamika islam dan memperkokoh tahanan nilai-nilai islam dalam aktivitas dakwah, media sosial sebagai tempat tersebarnya dakwah dan bagaimana bisa mengoptimalkan suatu konten dakwah ke media sosial melalui digital yang dapat dijelaskan bahwa mengoptimalkan dakwah melalui media sosial adalah hal yang bisa dilakukan dengan menshare konten-konten yang menarik dan bisa membuat khalayak tertarik untuk menontonnya. Media sosial dinilai efektif sebagai sarana berdakwah. Namun, berdakwah melalui media sosial harus memperhatikan etika dan norma-norma ber-medsos. Sehingga benar-benar mendatangkan kemanfaatan bukan sebaliknya menimbulkan permasalahan.
