Abstract

The results of this study show that; first, the values of muticultural education that are instilled are: democracy, mutual respect, tolerance, mutual respect, justice and equality, brotherhood, togetherness, and cooperation. Second, the process of internalizing muticultural education values is applied in the form of; curriculum planning, democracy in discussions and workshops, interaction between teachers and students, and democratic evaluation. Third, improving the quality of alumni through; acceptance of students, distribution of alumni benefits in the community and other surrounding places formally and non-formally. Fourth, supporting factors are; visionary kiyai and sustainable integrated Islamic education system, textbook curriculum, while inhibiting factors; limited muticultural understanding, need to increase cultural and interfaith dialogue, limited understanding of the meaning of tolerance. The values of muticultural education can be influenced by integration in a sustainable integrated Islamic education system through the curriculum content of textbooks and pesantren books, coaching pattern time, and a conducive climate environment.

Abstract

The curriculum is a comprehensive, holistic, methodical and collaborative curriculum management system. One way to optimise the curriculum is with curriculum management to oversee the policies of an education system, especially in Muhammadiyah Schools. The purpose of this study is to examine how curriculum management in Muhammadiyah schools can improve the quality of graduates. This research examines the synchronisation function of management in educational settings using qualitative methodology and descriptive analysis techniques. The type of data comes from primary data in the form of words or speech from informants, and secondary data in the form of documentation either from school documents, photos or recordings. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The data collected was then analysed with descriptive analysis that provides a detailed description of the phenomena observed. The research findings show that improving the quality of graduates largely depends on efficient planning, coordination, mobilisation, supervision and empowerment of resources. It has been proven that effective curriculum management can achieve the required quality criteria and promote a good teaching and learning environment. To achieve higher graduate quality, this study offers suggestions for implementing better curriculum management.

Abstract

This study wants to highlight the learning of post-Covid-19 vocational schools in Palembang, especially how to re-accommodate local culture as an integrated part of learning in schools.The significant impact of the pandemic on vocational education over the past two years has hampered various courses of learning in schools.Here, there are three aspects that will be explored, namely in terms of education management, future challenges and potential for curriculum development after Covid 19.This study is a qualitative research, research data collected from the results of the literature, interviews and documentation.Then the data is interpreted through descriptive analysis.The results of the study indicate that vocational schools face the uncertainty of the situation as a challenge in making changes to adaptive learning formats.Such conditions open up opportunities for the development of a responsive and more flexible curriculum to accommodate local culture as part of learning in vocational schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fakta dan fenomena bahwa pembentukan karakter melalui aktifitas keseharian atau Amalul Yaumiyah yang sudah menjadi program pondok pesantren Assalam Sungai Lilin Muba dalam rangka pembentukan karakter Islami bagi santri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif análisis. Menurut pendekatannya penelitian ini adalah penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan Fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; pertama ditemukan strategi pembentukan karakter santri melalui aktfitas amal yaumiyah di Pondok Pesantren Assalam Muba melalui beberapa metode yaitu; melalui keteladanan, melalui pembiasaan, melalui kedisiplinan, melalui metode targhib/ motivasi, dan dengan melalui metode tarhib/ ancaman/ hukuman. Kedua, Faktor yang mempengaruhi pembentukan karakter santri pada aktifitas amal yaumiyah disebabkan oleh 2 faktor yaitu; faktor pendukung dan faktor pengambat. Dari faktor pendukung didapati ada beberapa antara lain: yaitu (a) motivasi dan semangat para santri dalam menuntut ilmu dan belajar, (b) adanya dukungun dari pengasuh santri dalam membimbing, dan mengawasi aktifitas santri selama 24 jam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta dan fenomena pengamatan peneliti bahwa, keberadaan kegiatan pengajian atau majelis taklim kaum ibu ini, tidak hanya terbatas sebagai tempat pengajian saja, tetapi juga menjadi lembaga yang tempat penyelenggaran pengajaran wawasan atau pengajian materi agama Islam. Oleh karena itu pelaksanaan kegiatan pengajian ini juga menjadi sarana dakwah pembinaan dan peningkatan kualitas hidup umat Islam sesuai tuntutan ajaran agama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif análisis. Menurut pendekatannya penelitian ini adalah penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan Fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; Proses pelaksanaan pengajian pekanan kaum Ibu di Desa Mulyorejo dilaksanakan sepekan sekali yaitu setiap hari Kamis siang sampai sore dengan durasi pengajian sekitar 2 (dua) jam yang dimulai sekitar pukul 14.30 Wib sampai dengan pukul 16.30 Wib. Materi dan metode yang disampaikan pada pelaksanaan kegiatan pengajian pekanan An-Nur menggunakan materi dan metode pengajaran yang bervariatif di antaranya; aqidah akhlak, fiqih ibadah, tafsir al-Quran dan Hadis, serta materi lain yang berhubungan dengan materi agama Islam. Faktor yang mempengaruhi  kaum ibu mengikuti pengajian pekanna An-Nur yaitu; waktu pengajian yang fleksibel, narasumber yang berpengalaman, muatan materi yang beragam, dan menambah penguatan wawasan pengethauan keagamaan serta momen silaturahim antar sesama jamaah pengajian.
