Abstract

Abstract. In today's advanced technological era, the online-based flipped classroom learning model can overcome online learning problems while improving students' mathematical writing skills and interest in learning. The study aims to improve students' mathematical writing skills and interest in learning with an online-based flipped classroom learning model. The type of research is classroom action research (PTK) with a postest only one group design. The research subjects were 38 students majoring in mathematics education at Bina Bangsa University for the 2019-2020 academic year in the even semester. There are four stages of PTK which are carried out in several cycles, namely the planning stage, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. From the results of this study, it was concluded that the online-based flipped classroom model is effective in improving students' mathematical writing skills. Furthermore, it is concluded that students' learning experiences after being given learning with an online-based flipped classroom model, the majority of which are classified as high. Abstrak. Di era teknologi yang semakin maju saat ini, model pembelajaran flipped classrom berbasis online dapat mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran online sekaligus meningkatkan kemampuan menulis matematis dan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis matematis dan minat belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran flipped classroom berbasis online. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan desain postest only one group design. Subyek penelitian adalah 38 mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika Universitas Bina Bangsa tahun ajaran 2019-2020 semester genap. Ada empat tahapan PTK yang dilakukan dalam beberapa siklus, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa model flipped classroom berbasis online efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis matematis siswa. Selanjutnya disimpulkan bahwa pengalaman belajar siswa setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan model flipped classroom berbasis online mayoritas tergolong tinggi.

Abstract

This study is entitled The Effectiveness of Direct Learning Model on the Ability to Write Short Stories for Class VIII Students MTS Mambaul Hisan Sungai Lilin (Candle River). The formulation of this research problem is "Is the direct learning model effective for the ability to write short stories for grade VIII MTs Mambaul Hisan Sungai Lilin". This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the direct learning model on the ability to write short stories for grade VIII MTs Mambaul Hisan Sungai Lilin students. This research is a research with a quantitative descriptive approach using a compeletely randomized design in the form of Pre-Experiment using One Group Pretest Postest Design. The population of this study was all grade VIII students at MTs Mambaul Hisan Sungai Lilin. The research sample uses Cluster Random Sampling so that a sample class is obtained namely class VIII 3. Data collection techniques use observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using non-parametric statistical tests, namely the Wilcoxon test, obtained the results that z calculate < ztabel (0.071 < 0.4721), then Ho was rejected or H1 was accepted so that it can be concluded that the direct learning model is effective for improving students' short story writing skills in class VIII MTs Mambaul Sungai Lilin.

Abstract

Campaigns via social media Instagram are one promising method for achieving this goal. Through this platform, the messages conveyed can be more easily accessed by the wider community, including those who are connected digitally and especially the younger generation who predominantly use social media. This research aims to determine the campaign representation of female legislative candidates posted by the Instagram account @ataliapr @melly_goeslow @ledia_Hanifa. The theory used in this research is Roland Barthes semiontics, the research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this research show that the three Instagram accounts represent different campaigns on Instagram social media, the @ataliapr account represents support from her husband and former Governor of West Java to increase popularity. During the campaign, the @melly_goeslow account showed that physical activities such as Zumba exercise were an integral part of life which in turn supported his vision and mission as a member of the legislature. Meanwhile, the @ledia_Hanifa account in the campaign on social media Instagram describes himself as a leader who is committed to the values of social justice

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of NU values in instilling the character of national spirit in class XII IPS 1 SMA NU Ciledug. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data was collected through interviews and observations with related teachers and students as well as documentation. The research results show that the values of Tawassuth (moderate), Tawazun (balanced), and Tasamuh (tolerant) in the Islamic teachings of Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah are well integrated in learning activities, such as istigosah, Marhaban Al Barzanji, and sholawatan. The implementation of Tawassuth values is reflected in efforts to avoid extremism, while Tasamuh values are implemented through an attitude of tolerance towards religious differences. Tawazun values are implemented through extracurricular activities, flag ceremonies, and mutual cooperation are also part of the implementation of national values. Even though the process of cultivating the character of a national spirit is already going well, research shows that optimizing results requires further support from various parties, including parents, teachers and the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Pengabdian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan peran serta warga masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan sebagai pendukung terbentuknya iklim mikro. Faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman salah satunya adalah iklim. Iklim mikro adalah kondisi iklim pada suatu ruang yang sangat terbatas, namun komponen iklim ini penting bagi kehidupan makhluk hidup yaitu manusia, tumbuhan maupun hewan, karena akan berpengaruh langsung dengan kehidupan makhluk hidup tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian dimulai dari perencanaan pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan, transfer ilmu, pelatihan dalam bentuk kegiatan pegelolaan lahan pekarangan beserta teknik budidaya tanaman dan monitoring. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan mampu meningkatkan penghijauan lahan pekarangan warga yang secara otomatis juga mampu menciptakan iklim mikro yang baik di perumahan warga masyarakat kelurahan gunung Kelua.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan bentuk dan makna kalimat deklaratif dalam film Dilan 1990. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif-deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi dan observasi simak dan catat. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah identifikasi dan klasifikasi. Data penelitian adalah dialog para pemeran film Dilan 1990.Data pada penelitian ini disajikan dalam bentuk deskripsi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat kalimat deklaratif jenis ungkapan perasaan dalam film Dilan 1990.Kalimat deklaratif meliputi: (1) ungkapan harapan; (2) ungkapan keyakinan; (3) ungkapan kebencian; (4) ungkapan kekhawatiran; (5) ungkapan serah diri/pasrah; (6) ungkapan kasih sayang; (7) ungkapan nasihat/peringatan; dan (8) ungkapan perumpamaan. This study aims to describe the form and meaning of declarative sentences in the film Dilan 1990. The approach used in this research is a qualitative-descriptive approach. The data collection technique used is documentation and observation with observing and note-taking techniques. The data analysis method used is identification and classification. The research data is the dialogues of the Dilan 1990 film actors. The data in this study are presented in the form of descriptions. The results of the study showthat there are declarative sentences with the type of expression of feelings in the Dilan 1990 film. The declarative sentences include: (1) expressions of hope; (2) expression of belief; (3) expressions of hatred; (4) expressions of concern; (5) expressions of surrender/surrender; (6) expressions of affection; (7) expressions of advice/warning; and (8) suppositional expressions/parables.

Abstract

Lebih dari separuh anak perempuan Indonesia berusia 15-17 tahun sudah menikah. Hal ini menyebabkan masalah kesehatan reproduksi pada remaja. Salah satunya adalah penyebab kematian ibu dan bayi akibat komplikasi saat hamil dan melahirkan. Provinsi Jawa Barat mempunyai angka absolut perkawinan anak tertinggi. Desa Pondok Rajeg, Cibinong, Bogor, Provinsi Jawa Barat, menjadi salah satu desa dengan angka pernikahan anak dan putus sekolah yang terus meningkat. Garda terdepan pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat adalah kader posyandu, namun banyak yang belum memahami peran dan fungsinya di posyandu, khususnya remaja. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan peran tenaga kesehatan dalam mendekatkan akses terhadap layanan kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Sasarannya adalah kader posyandu dan remaja. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ABCD (Asset Based Community Development). Sebanyak 20 orang terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan ini. Posisi permasalahan kesehatan reproduksi remaja dan posyandu remaja berada pada dilema (kuadran IV), sehingga diperlukan Survival Strategy untuk mengendalikan kinerja internal dan terus berupaya untuk meningkatkan diri. Sebanyak 10 remaja terpilih menjadi calon kader kesehatan di posyandu remaja. Terjadi peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan tentang posyandu remaja dari 76,5 menjadi 78,5, dengan skor pre-test terendah dari 60 menjadi 70 pada post-test. Berdasarkan hasil uji Willcoxon tidak terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi (p-value = 0.206, p-value >0.05). Pemangku kepentingan terkait berkomitmen untuk menindaklanjuti inisiasi pendirian posyandu remaja. Selain itu, remaja dan kader posyandu berencana melakukan sosialisasi tentang pentingnya posyandu remaja. Mereka berkomitmen untuk menciptakan kegiatan yang produktif dan positif di lingkungan Desa Pondok Rajeg.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and develop game-based learning assisted by Prodigy game media that is valid, practical and effective on students' critical thinking skills and learning interests. Media is a tool for conveying messages sourced from teachers so that students, as recipients, can understand the material well. Prodigy is an ICT-based media that contains games and mathematics learning, so students' interest in learning mathematics will develop through this media. This research uses ADDIE development techniques. The results showed that game-based learning assisted by Prodigy game media proved valid, practical and effective in improving students' critical thinking skills and learning interests. Using apps like Prodigy Game in math learning helps improve students' critical thinking skills through various interactive and focused ways. Abstract

The cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share assisted by WinGeom provides an opportunity for students to develop their mathematical communication skills during the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model assisted by WinGeom on mathematical communication skills among junior high school students in Geometry. The research uses a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest 1, 2, and 3. The population of this study consists of grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Serang City. The sample includes students from classes VIII-A and VIII-B class was selected randomly. Data collection techniques used mathematical communication skills tests. This study compares Think Pair Share assisted by WinGeom with conventional learning methods. ANOVA was used to analyze the effectiveness of the two learning methods. ANOVA test results for each posttest indicate that Think Pair Share assisted by WinGeom has a different effect compared to conventional learning. The study results show a significant difference between the average mathematical communication skills of students in the experimental class and the control class. This means that the cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share assisted by WinGeom has an impact on junior high school students' mathematical communication skills. In the future, this learning method could be a solution for teachers worldwide to improve students' learning achievements, particularly in mathematical communication skills.  Keywords: Think pair share model, WinGeom, Mathematical Communication, Cooperative

Abstract

This research aims to improve student's communication skills and motivation in learning game-based mathematics learning, namely with a gamification model included in the quizizz application. The method used is quantitative research with an experimental approach, which compares the class given the gamified learning model and the class given the traditional learning model. The study results found that the gamification learning model included in the quizizz application was more effective than the traditional learning model. Students' mathematical communication skills improved, and their motivation to learn increased because they considered learning like a game they did every day.
