Abstract

Karya tulis ilmiah merupakan hasil penelitian yang disusun secara sistematis dan logis untuk menyampaikan pengetahuan baru kepada pembaca. Penulisan karya ilmiah harus memenuhi beberapa syarat penting, seperti mudah dipahami, objektif, berlandaskan teori, dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Namun, banyak peneliti yang menghadapi kendala dalam publikasi artikel ilmiah akibat ketidaksesuaian dengan kaidah penulisan yang berlaku. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini membahas teknik penulisan karya ilmiah yang tepat, mulai dari penyusunan judul, abstrak, pendahuluan, metodologi, pembahasan, hingga kesimpulan. Penulis juga menekankan pentingnya penggunaan format penulisan referensi yang sesuai dengan standar lembaga publikasi, seperti APA Style, Vancouver Style, dan Harvard Style. Dengan memahami struktur dan kaidah penulisan yang benar, diharapkan peneliti dapat meningkatkan peluang publikasi karya ilmiahnya di jurnal internasional dan nasional.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of the Sharia Supervisory Board's size (SSB) and the Board of Directors on the financial performance of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia, focusing on a decade-long period from 2011 to 2020. The research adopts a quantitative approach, analyzing secondary data from the Good Corporate Governance (GCG) reports of ten selected Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS). Advanced panel data analysis techniques, including regression model estimation, model selection, assumption testing, and hypothesis testing, are utilized to ensure a robust examination. The analysis reveals multifaceted outcomes. Key financial indicators such as the profit-sharing ratio, zakat performance ratio, and Islamic income ratio show no significant impact on the bank's financial health. However, the Islamic investment ratio positively correlates with financial robustness. The size of the SSB has a negative, albeit insignificant, influence, whereas the Board of Directors' size does not significantly affect financial health. Notably, the study highlights the substantial moderating effects of SSB and the Board of Directors on the relationship between the Islamicity performance index and financial health. This research contributes to the field by showcasing the critical roles of SSB size and the Board of Directors in evaluating the financial health of Islamic commercial banks. It provides practice and theory implications of the factors that drive financial performance, offering valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders in the Islamic banking sector.

Abstract

Purpose: This social service aimed to (1) enhance students' understanding of qualitative research methods, (2) improve their grasp of research variables, and (3) provide solutions for students struggling to finish their studies during the pandemic. It used descriptive qualitative research to analyze how students designed research during the pandemic.Method: The study involved 20 English Language Education students from Universitas Slamet Riyadi. Data was collected through lectures, focus group discussions, and consultations. The team provided material on research methods and variables, discussed challenges in pandemic research, and conducted follow-up meetings for students to consult on their research.Practical Applications: Students initially faced difficulties in selecting research methods and variables, but the program helped them address these issues. They developed suitable research designs focused on qualitative methods and online learning, contributing new insights to university education during the pandemic.Conclusion: Based on the results and discussions from this social service, it can be concluded that solutions for students struggling to finish their studies during the pandemic were achieved through this activity. Theories, training, and intensive consultations helped students gain a clear understanding of how to conduct research effectively during the pandemic.

Abstract

Volatile compound profiling is important for understanding the aroma characteristics of beef and supporting the authentication of meat-based products. This study aimed to examine the volatile profile of beef (Bos taurus) processed by boiling, frying, and roasting using the Headspace Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (HS-GC/MS) method. Round beef samples from five cattle were subjected to the three heat treatments and analyzed based on retention time and peak area to determine the types and relative abundances of volatile compounds. The results showed that boiled beef produced 91 volatile compounds, while fried and roasted beef generated 58 and 56 compounds, respectively. The identified compounds included aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, alcohols, esters, aromatic hydrocarbons, sulfur compounds, alkanes, terpenoids, amides, and amines. Boiling was mainly characterized by compounds derived from mild lipid oxidation, frying by more intensive Maillard reactions, and roasting by advanced Maillard reactions and Strecker degradation. These findings indicate that processing methods influence the volatile composition and aroma characteristics of beef. The HS-GC/MS approach provides valuable information for food authentication.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk ketidakpuasan layanan serta tindak tutur ekspresif pengguna aplikasi BintangPusnas Edu pada kolom ulasan Google Play Store. Kajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh munculnya berbagai komentar bernada negatif yang disampaikan pengguna terhadap layanan perpustakaan digital pemerintah berbasis teknologi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan perspektif pragmatik. Data penelitian berupa ulasan pengguna aplikasi BintangPusnas Edu dengan penilaian bintang satu dan dua pada tahun 2026. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi dan pencatatan terhadap ulasan pengguna yang mengandung ekspresi ketidakpuasan. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode padan pragmatik dengan mengidentifikasi bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif yang muncul dalam ulasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketidakpuasan pengguna diwujudkan melalui empat bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif, yaitu mengeluh, mengkritik, menghina, dan menyalahkan. Tindak tutur mengeluh menjadi bentuk yang paling dominan karena pengguna banyak mengalami gangguan teknis, seperti kesulitan login, aplikasi error, dan sistem yang lambat. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa ruang digital menjadi sarana ekspresi emosional masyarakat terhadap kualitas layanan publik berbasis teknologi sekaligus memperlihatkan pentingnya peningkatan kualitas layanan aplikasi pendidikan digital pemerintah.   Kata Kunci: Ketidakpuasan Layanan, Tindak Tutur Ekspresif, AplikasiBintangPusnas Edu
