Virgin coconut oil (VCO) is the feedstock for the production of cocozone oil, a substance that can be used as a medicine for several skin problems. This work is aimed to find the best method for producing VCO with low water content which is the prerequisite to be a suitable feedstock of cocozone oil. Two methods of VCO production i.e. agitation in room temperature (30oC) and cooling at 5oC for 24 hours were compared. The amount of zeolite 3A added to 20 ml of VCO was varied on 10, 20, and 30 gram. It is found that the agitation method with 30 gram zeolite 3A can lower the water content down to 30%.

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of sex education in learning to the sexual violence behavior of students in 6th grade at SDN Utan Kayu Selatan 23 Pagi, East Jakarta. This research includes quantitative research. The population of this research is 30 students of 6th grade. The sample of this study were taken using a saturated sampling technique. Data collected by questionnaire. The data were analyzed using product moment correlation test and significance test. Through product moment correlation test obtained r value of 0.29. It can be stated that the relationship between sex education and the sexual violence behavior of students has a positive but low relation. The coefficient of determination obtained from the calculation is r2 = 29%. This shows that sex education variable contributes 29% to sexual violence behavior in 6th grade students of SDN Utan Kayu Selatan 23 East Jakarta, while 71% is contribution from other factors such as home environment. From the calculation of significance test coefficient obtained tcount> ttable (1.759 > 1.697), it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between sex education on sexual violence behavior.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan menggunakan strategi three-stage fishbowl decision pada materi tekanan. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest- posttest control group desain. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 65 siswa kelas VIII yang diambil dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji gain dan uji t satu pihak. Analisis uji gain menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan aktivitas belajar siswa berkategori sedang untuk kelas eksperimen dan rendah untuk kelas kontrol. Analisis uji satu pihak menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep tekanan dan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol.

One of the problem was experienced by teachers in SDN Kebon Pala 12 and 13 Pagi is the ability of teachers in preparing lesson plan based on literacy, 4C, PPK and HOTS is still lacking. The target of this activity was the implementation of training activity of lesson plan preparation based on literacy, 4C, PPK, and HOTS for teacher of 1st and 4th grade in Gugus Agus Salim. This method was in the form of training that is intended for elementary school teachers. Data collection techniques in this activity were documentation, interviews, and tests. The data were analyzed using t test and normalized gain test. Based on the results of the two-tail t test and the gain test were indicate that the implementation of this training has an effect in improving the knowledge of the teachers understanding about K13 and how to set up the learning tool, especially the preparation of lesson plan based on literacy, 4C, PPK, and HOTS.

The challenges of the times in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 or IR 4.0 need to be faced and responded by the actors in the world of education, teachers are no exception. Teachers are required to constantly innovate in learning including the evaluation process. Evaluation tools used can be technology based. The purpose of this community service activity is to conduct training on making digital-based questions using the application kahoot. This community service activity partnered with SMA PGRI 3 Jakarta. There were 22 participants in the community service activities, namely teachers at SMA PGRI 3. The method of this community service activity was distance training using the zoom meeting application. There are two sessions in this training, namely the first session in the form of understanding and strengthening related to digital literacy in the world of education and the second session in the form of a demonstration on how to make evaluation questions using the Kahoot application. After the community service, teachers and teachers at SMA PGRI 3 were able to create questions based on the Kahoot application. The final stage of this service activity was evaluated. Based on the results of the evaluation conducted by the implementation team and the school it can be stated that the training carried out was successful and went smoothly.

Kampung Tabrik Desa Gekbrong menjadi salah satu kampung yang menjadi kampung eduekowisata.  Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mengembangkan eduekowisata bagi Kampung Tabrik Desa Gekbrong melalui pelatihan – pelatihan untuk mendukung eduekowisata tersebut. Pelatiahnnya diantaranya adalah pelatihan Metode pengabdian masyarakat ini meliputi pendampingan eduekowisata yang terbagi dalam dua kegiatan yaitu pelatihan dan perbaikan saran – prasarana di Kampung Tabrik Desa Gekbrong. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dimulai dari analisis situasi dan kebutuhan, identifikasi masalah, penentuan program kegiatan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini meliputi 2 kegiatan utama yaitu pelatihan berupa peningkatan ekowisata curug Goong dan Kampung Tabrik sebagai desa eduekowisata dan edukasi yang mendukung kegiatan ekowisata berupa pelatihan pendidikan konservasi bagi siswa dan guru di SDN Gekbrong 03, pelatihan pembuatan website, dan pelatihan local guide. Pendampingan ekowisata yang dilaksanakan berupa 1) perbaikan 3 homestay, 2) pembuatan papan arah dan himbauan, pembuatan spot selfie “I Love Gekbrongâ€, 4) pembuatan akses jalan ke Curug Goong, dan 5) pembuatan website Curug Goong. Pengabdian masyarakat ini mengelaborasi kegiatan eduwisata dan ekowisata sebagai dasar inisiasi pembentukan Desa Gekbrong Cianjur sebagai Kampung Eduekowisata.

This study aims to: 1) examine the challenges teachers encounter in implementing project-based learning in 2013 curriculum, 2) to examine teachers’ strategies in integrating project-based learning in 2013 curriculum. This research finds several obstacles faced by teachers and strategies that can be done in the implementation of project-based learning, they are: 1) the obstacle in terms of students' capability can be overcome by familiarizing them to complete projects; 2) the obstacle in terms of indiscipline can be solved by optimizing the teacher's role as supervisor; 3) the time constraint is overcome by some alternative ways; 4) the obstacle in terms of equipment availability is addressed by modifying projects; 5) the obstacle in terms of student's inequality is overcome by forming propori sembang group; 6) the cost issues are resolved by using classroom cash or selecting projects suitable for the available resources. Another positive finding is that teachers should have the confidence and commitment in implementing project-based learning. Based on these results, it can be concluded that most teachers and even experienced teachers will experience difficulties and challenges when trying to implement project-based learning. However, experienced teachers have strategies to overcome obstacles, thus project-based learning can still be implemented.

Kanker Serviks merupakan salah satu jenis kanker yang disebabkan oleh Human Papillomavirus atau HPV. Di Indonesia, kasus kemunculan kanker serviks berada di peringkat ke-2 dibawah kanker payudara. Kebutuhan akan deteksi dini kanker serviks sangat diperlukan, terlebih kemunculan kanker serviks dapat dikenali ketika kondisi kanker memasuki stadium akhir. Dengan pemanfaatkan teknologi serta berdasarkan data perilaku, penelitian ini mengusulkan identifikasi dini kanker serviks menggunakan kombinasi seleksi fitur information gain dan data mining. Implementasi dilakukan pada dataset Cervical Cancer Risk Behavioral. Metode information gain mampu menghasilkan 9 fitur utama yang akan digunakan dalam tahap evaluasi dengan data mining. Dari hasil evaluasi beberapa model data mining diketahui metode Naive Bayes mampu memberikan performa terbaik dengan pencapaian 93,21% akurasi, 96% sensitivitas, dan 83,33% spesifisitas. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunakan skema 9 atribut berdasarkan bobot information gain mampu memberikan peningkatan kemampuan model data mining dalam mengidentifikasikan kemunculan kanker serviks.

Operating system is a compulsory subject taken in the Information Technology Student FTIK - USM . In the discussion of the material management process of the operating systems course , there are some scheduling algorithm which processes need to be understood and any existing process scheduling algorithm presented in the form of Grantt Charts . Because of the difficulties experienced by students in understanding the process of scheduling algorithms by an Operating System become researchers inspiration to conduct this study to make an application Grantt Chart.. This study uses a waterfall system development , where the flow will follow the research the phase in waterfall . This application will be built using Visual Basic 6 . The purpose of this research is to produce an application of learning are presented in graphical form to facilitate students in understanding the material scheduling process performed by an operating system so that students can also understand how a computer can do multiple processes simultaneously.

Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FTIK) USM is one of the faculty are experiencing rapid development both of the number of students and the amount of infrastructure. FTIK occupying the building M and Q as lectures and laboratory building for student. FTIK is growth oriented faculty of Information Technology, of the entire student FTIK and academic staff need internet access to support existing teaching and learning process. When the researchers were in building M and Q, Our will compete for free internet access is provided USM because the bandwidth is allocated evenly to rent USM. The fact that there are today, when researchers were on the 2nd floor of building A, as home base for the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, researchers gain access internet very easily. This is contrary to the conditions in the building M and Q, whereas the number of students in the Faculty of Agricultural Technology , not as much as in FTIK.Based on the above problems, reserchers are interested to observe, analyze the access bandwidth at USM that occured during the period of active classes and the end of the course by means of internet access at USM monitoring using NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle) and will appear in the display MRTG.Objectives to be achieved by theresearcher is output obtained from a study that is able to provide inout to the wisdom of allocating bandwidth has been hired can be used optimally by the entire academic community USM.
