Abstract

The Campus Teaching Program at State Elementary School (SDN) 1 Satap Sukun aims to improve students’ literacy and numeracy competencies through guidance from Muhammadiyah Maumere University students. This program is a collaborative initiative between schools and the Maumere Muhammadiyah University which aims to provide guidance and assistance to students in understanding the subject matter in more depth. The approach used in this program involves students being active as tutors for students who need additional help in the areas of literacy and numeracy. This program succeeded in increasing students’ understanding of the subject matter and their learning motivation. From the evaluation results, it was concluded that this program was effective in supporting student competency development. Apart from that, this program also provides valuable experience for students in developing leadership and communication skills. The recommendation from this program is that similar programs can be implemented in more schools to support overall student competency development. In this way, it is hoped that students can achieve their maximum potential in the fields of literacy and numeracy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku konsumtif di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Maumere. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengaruh media sosial, FOMO, dan impulsivitas merupakan faktor utama yang mendorong perilaku konsumtif. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi bahwa kurangnya pendidikan keuangan dan literasi digital memperparah masalah ini. Hasil penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya intervensi yang komprehensif, termasuk pendidikan keuangan yang lebih baik, kampanye kesadaran, serta regulasi yang lebih ketat terhadap iklan yang menargetkan anak muda.

Abstract

Scouting is a non-formal educational movement that focuses on the formation of character, skills, and youth leadership. Through scouting activities, youth can develop values ​​such as discipline, cooperation, and social awareness. Scouting programs include outdoor activities, skill development, and community service. As a result, scouting contributes to the formation of young leaders who are characterful, independent, and care about the community. Through literature studies and descriptive analysis, this article examines how scouting activities, such as camping, exploration, and survival skills, contribute to the development of noble values, independence, discipline, and leadership. The results of the study indicate that scouting provides contextual and applicable learning experiences, strengthening the positive character of students. The implication of this study is the importance of integrating scouting values ​​in formal and non-formal education systems to create a young generation with strong character and competitiveness.
