Abstract

The phenomenon of bullying in elementary schools is an important issue that affects students' psychological and social development. This study aims to identify the forms of bullying in elementary schools and explore the role of character education in reducing bullying behaviour. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation involving six informants, namely three teachers, two students and one parent. The results showed that bullying that occurs in elementary schools is more often in the form of verbal and social bullying, with a significant impact on the victim's self-confidence and academic achievement. Character education that includes the values of empathy, tolerance and mutual respect is implemented in the school curriculum and extracurricular activities as a preventive effort. However, the implementation of character education is still faced with challenges, such as the mismatch between the values taught at school and the application at home. This study suggests that character education should be implemented consistently and involve cooperation between teachers, parents and the community to create a bullying-free environment.

Abstract

Pendidikan sejarah memiliki peran vital dalam pembentukan identitas bangsa, karena melalui pemahaman sejarah, generasi muda dapat mengenali akar budaya, nilai-nilai, serta perjuangan yang membentuk jati diri bangsa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode studi literatur untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana pendidikan sejarah berkontribusi dalam memperkuat identitas nasional di tengah tantangan globalisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum sejarah yang relevan dan kontekstual, serta peran guru yang kompeten, merupakan faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan pendidikan sejarah. Kurikulum yang terintegrasi dengan sejarah lokal dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa mampu menjadikan pelajaran sejarah lebih bermakna dan relevan. Selain itu, guru sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran sejarah harus memiliki keterampilan pedagogis yang mumpuni dan mampu memanfaatkan teknologi untuk memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa. Globalisasi yang membawa pengaruh budaya asing juga menjadi tantangan yang harus dihadapi, di mana pendidikan sejarah perlu beradaptasi agar tetap efektif dalam membentuk identitas nasional. Implikasi kebijakan yang direkomendasikan meliputi revisi kurikulum, peningkatan kapasitas guru, dan integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran sejarah, untuk memastikan pendidikan sejarah dapat berfungsi optimal dalam membentuk karakter dan kesadaran sejarah generasi muda. Dengan demikian, pendidikan sejarah dapat menjadi instrumen penting dalam menjaga keutuhan dan kekokohan identitas bangsa di era globalisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berbagai fungsi dalam pelaksanaan tradisi aggalara’ pada acara pasunna’ di Desa Balangloe Kecamatan Binamu Kabupaten Jeneponto Sulawesi Selatan sehingga dengan mengetahui fungsi tradisi aggalara’ maka masyarakat akan menjadikannya sebagai tolak ukur dalam melestarikan tradisi aggalara’. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan beberapa teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis penelitian ini secara mendalam maka peneliti akan menggunakan teori struktural fungsionalisme AGIL Talcott Parsons. Dengan teori tersebut akan dianalisis secara intensif berbagai fungsi dari tradisi aggalara’ sehingga diperoleh hasil penelitian yang lebih akurat dan sesuai kebutuhan saat ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa fungsi pelaksanaan tradisi aggalara’ pertama yaitu sebagai sarana pendidikan budaya. Kedua sebagai sarana hiburan tradisional. Ketiga sebagai media penyampaian nilai spiritual dan keempat sebagai media dalam menghidupkan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Fishing communities in Pangkajene and Islands Regency (Pangkep) face various structural challenges such as limited capital, low access to technology, and dependence on daily catches which have an impact on low levels of welfare. To overcome these problems, collaborative efforts are made between local governments and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in the implementation of coastal community empowerment programs. This research aims to examine the forms of collaboration between the government and NGOs and assess their contribution to empowering and improving the welfare of the fishing community. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of informants from the government, NGOs, and fishermen's groups. The findings show that the collaboration has resulted in programs such as training, economic assistance, and environmental education that have a positive impact on community capacity building. However, collaboration still faces obstacles in coordination, program sustainability, and uneven community participation. This research contributes to enriching the literature on collaborative governance in the context of empowering coastal communities, as well as a reference for governments and NGOs to design collaboration strategies that are more inclusive, sustainable, and based on local needs.

Abstract

The development of social media, especially Instagram, has changed the paradigm of tourism promotion through visual and interactive approaches. In the midst of the dominance of popular tourist destination promotions, community accounts such as @explorebulukumba play an important role in introducing little-known destinations, such as Bara Beach in Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. This study aims to analyze the digital tourism communication strategy applied by the account in building the image of Bara Beach. The approach used was qualitative descriptive, with data collection through digital observation, semi-structured interviews, and field documentation. The research informants consisted of account managers, local tourism activists, and tourists who were exposed to digital promotional content. The results showed that @explorebulukumba accounts leveraged strong visual and narrative communication strategies through aesthetic content, the use of emotional captions, and local hashtags. These elements form the image of Bara Beach as an exclusive and natural destination. High user interaction shows the effectiveness of this strategy in attracting attention and encouraging tourist visit intentions. This research recommends collaboration between local governments and community accounts in digital tourism promotion strategies. In addition, increasing the capacity of creative content and optimizing social media features needs to be done on an ongoing basis to strengthen the branding of local destinations.

Abstract

This research was conducted in class IV of SDN No. 196 Inpres Bontomajannang on the Development of Traditional House Culture Learning Media based on Tradsetig which was motivated by the lack of learning media on traditional house culture based on games. The purpose of this study was to (1) Develop a traditional house culture learning media product based on Tradsetig for Elementary School students. (2) Determine the feasibility of the product. (3) Determine the level of practicality of using the media product. This study focuses on producing learning media to improve understanding of traditional house culture material. The design of this study is research and development (Research & Development) using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages. The first stage is: (1) Preparation. (2) Planning. (3) Development. (4) Implementation. (5) Evaluation. The conclusion of this study, based on the assessments given by material experts, media experts, teachers and students, this Tradsetig-based learning media is in the very feasible category so that it can be recommended as a learning media on traditional house culture material.
