Abstract

This article aims to discuss the comparison of fatwas between Wahbah Zuhaili and Muhammad Zuhaili on misyār marriage. There are differences in fatwas between Wahbah Zuhaili and his brother Muhammad Zuhaili on misyār marriage. This research is a type of library research, descriptive-comparative in nature with a comparative approach. The data collection method of this research uses documentation and data analysis techniques using comparative analysis. The results of the study state that there is a dispute between the fatwas of Wahbah Zuhaili and Muhammad Zuhaili regarding misyār marriage. Wahbah Zuhaili argues that misyār marriage is permissible as long as it is registered in court. Wahbah Zuhaili allows this marriage with the argument that the contract of this marriage is in accordance with Sharia. In contrast, Muhammad Zuhaili prohibits misyār marriage. Muhammad Zuhaili argues that this marriage is not in accordance with the purpose of marriage according to Islamic law and there are indications of exploiting women. The difference that occurs is only due to differences in views regarding the validity of marriage. Wahbah Zuhaili considers a valid marriage to be one whose contract is in accordance with sharia. Muhammad Zuhaili emphasizes more on the purpose of marriage in seeing the validity of a marriage. In Islamic law, this marriage is basically valid because it does not violate sharia as long as the purpose does not deviate.

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of cyberbullying and online harassment presents serious psychological risks for adolescents, particularly among Muslim youth who often lack the ethical and spiritual guidance needed to navigate digital spaces. Existing digital literacy programs tend to emphasize technical skills but fall short in fostering moral resilience and ethical behavior. This study aims to develop an Islamic digital literacy model that strengthens the mental resilience of Muslim adolescents by integrating digital competencies with core Islamic values. Employing a qualitative approach, this research synthesizes secondary data from literature reviews and case studies of value-based digital education programs. The results indicate that adolescents exposed to Islamic digital literacy demonstrate significant improvements in risk perception, critical thinking, and emotional regulation, as well as heightened mental health literacy. Website features that combine digital ethics education with Qur’anic and Hadith-based content provide both preventive and formative benefits. The integration of interactive features and family engagement is also essential to enhance the platform’s pedagogical and emotional impact. These findings highlight the importance of progressive Islamic education in addressing contemporary challenges and offer a practical framework for fostering ethical, spiritually grounded, and psychologically resilient Muslim youth in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the contributions of Ar-Razi in integrating religious values with scientific findings, particularly in his interpretation of Surah Al-Fatihah. Through his scientific and critical exegesis method, Ar-Razi provides a fresh perspective on the relationship between religion and science, elucidating scientific discoveries encompassing the existence of a multi-dimensional universe, natural elements, and divine education in the creation of humans, plants, as well as the placement of planets and stars. The research results indicate that integrating religious values with scientific findings deepens the understanding of Quranic verses and provides solid arguments for the truth of the holy scripture. The significance of scientific discoveries in proving the truth of the Quran further strengthens the moral foundation of society, creating harmony between the material and spiritual dimensions. This research contributes insights into the relationship between religion and science, offering an ethical framework for scientific development. Additionally, it has the potential to inspire the development of scientific exegesis methods for understanding sacred texts, serving as a guide for future researchers in bridging the gap between religious values and scientific discoveries, fostering a holistic understanding of the world that combines material and spiritual dimensions.
