Abstract

Whey is liquid cheese waste produced from the cheese making process after being separated from the curd. Cheese production waste contains a carbon source, one of which is lactose as an energy source in the development of fermented biotechnology, especially the manufacture of probiotics for livestock. Lactose (4-7%) and protein (0.6-1%) in whey cheese can be used as a medium for the growth of lactic acid bacteria and yeast in producing secondary metabolites which could be applied as nutraceutical feed additives that were useful for medical or health, including prevention and treatment of diseases and improve livestock performance.The research purpose was to determine the effect of adding kefir grain 1-5% into whey cheese based on chemical quality and microbiological. Whey Cheese is mixed with 10% molasses and then heated at 80oC for 10 minutes later the temperature is lowered between 35-40 oC and added starter according to treatment. The next step is incubating anaerobic kefir fermentation for 24 hours with temperatures between 35-40oC. The experimental method was designed with a completely randomized design with 6 starter level treatments and 3 replications, namely 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%. The results showed that the addition of 1-5% kefir grain was very significant (P<0.01) increasing protein, lactic acid bacteria, yeast and reducing water, fat, Total Plate Count (TPC). It can be concluded study concludes that the addition of 5% kefir grain into whey cheese added with 10% molasses affects the increase in lactic and yeast acid bacteria, protein and decreases fat, water, Total Plate Count  (TPC).

Abstract

AbstrakKuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Kelurahan Pekuncen telah berhasil menjadi wadah bagi mahasiswa untuk mengimplementasikan ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam rangka memberdayakan masyarakat. Melalui berbagai program yang inovatif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat, KKN ini telah memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Program-program yang dilaksanakan, seperti sosialisasi Rekognisi Pembelajaran Lampau (RPL), kegiatan belajar mengajar di PAUD dan TK, serta pengembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) berbasis potensi lokal melalui sosialisasi NIB dan Sertifikasi halal bersama PC ISNU Kota Pasuruan sebagai legalitas usaha. Program-program tersebut telah berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pendidikan, kesehatan, dan ekonomi. Selain itu, program-program tersebut juga mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa. Kolaborasi yang erat antara mahasiswa, pemerintah kelurahan, tokoh masyarakat, dan berbagai pemangku kepentingan lainnya telah menjadi kunci keberhasilan KKN ini. Sinergi yang kuat ini memungkinkan terlaksananya program-program yang terintegrasi dan berkelanjutan. Hasil yang dicapai, seperti peningkatan legalitas usaha melalui penerbitan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB), sosialisasi gerakan cuci tangan yang benar untuk mendukung program STBM (Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat), dan pengembangan produk kreatif berbasis bahan alami (Ecoprint), menunjukkan dampak positif yang nyata bagi masyarakat Kelurahan Pekuncen. KKN di Kelurahan Pekuncen tidak hanya memberikan manfaat jangka pendek, tetapi juga meletakkan fondasi bagi pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Program-program yang telah dilaksanakan telah memperkuat kapasitas masyarakat untuk mengatasi tantangan-tantangan di masa depan dan menggali potensi lokal secara maksimal. Keberhasilan KKN ini membuktikan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dapat menjadi katalisator perubahan positif yang signifikan.

Abstract

The background of this research is by UMKM which are developing very rapidly, especially in the culinary sector. Business actors must be able to adapt to current developments and innovate in order to attract consumers so that their business is able to survive the threat of competitors, is able to take advantage of existing opportunities, and continues to develop amidst increasingly fierce business competition. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of packaging, product variations and electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) on consumer buying interest at Raja Nyemil Tulungagung partially and simultaneously. The sample taken in the research was 68 respondents from Raja Nyemil Tulungagung consumers. A quantitative approach is used in this research and is an associative type of research. Using primary data, the data collection method is a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The analytical method used is the multiple linear regression test using the SPSS 16.0 application. The results of this research show that partially and simultaneously significant results were obtained which means that there is a positive and significant influence between packaging, product variety and Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) on consumer buying interest in Raja Nyemil Tulungagung.

Abstract

Background: Vocabulary mastery is a central component in Arabic language learning, yet many elementary students struggle to remember and apply new words effectively. Specific background: Traditional approaches relying on lectures and repetition often fail to maintain engagement, limiting vocabulary retention. Knowledge gap: Few studies have empirically explored game-based strategies, particularly the Bingo method, for Arabic vocabulary learning at the elementary level.  Aims: This study examined the role of the Bingo game, assisted by card media, in supporting Arabic vocabulary mastery among fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Darut Taqwa. Results: Findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ scores—from an average of 43.33 to 54.66—with a gain score of 11.33 categorized as high. The paired-sample t-test confirmed statistical significance (p < 0.001), indicating that students demonstrated higher engagement and retention after the intervention. Novelty: Integrating Bingo into vocabulary instruction provides a playful, social, and interactive learning atmosphere aligned with the Merdeka Belajar framework. Implications: The study contributes to curriculum design by offering an innovative learning model that can be further developed digitally to support technology-integrated Arabic learning in the 21st century. Highlights Game-based learning fosters active participation and enjoyment in Arabic vocabulary classes. Bingo cards enhance students’ memory and comprehension of new Arabic words. Abstract

The direct learning method focused on information delivery used by teachers is considered less enjoyable by students, forming the basis of this research. The enthusiasm for learning has decreased as a result. This study aims to examine how the model learning method is used to teach poetry to students in the X grade at SMK Plus As-Salafiyah Krangkeng in the 2024/2025 academic year and, secondly, to determine how students participate in using this approach to teach poetry to X grade students at SMK Plus As-Salafiyah Krangkeng in the 2024/2025 academic year. All X grade students at SMK Plus As-Salafiyah Krangkeng in the 2024/2025 academic year are the population of this research, which is conducted using experimental methods. With the saturated sampling technique, 20 students from class X TKJ were designated as the experimental class, and 20 students from class X TO were designated as the control class. We collected research data through observation sheets and written tests. The results of the statistical calculations using the independent two-sample t-test show that t-observed is 3.456 and t-table is 2.024, respectively. The result pertains to the t-test sample that did not receive acceptance. Therefore, t-observed 3.456 is greater than t-table 2.024, indicating that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The tenth-grade students at SMK Plus As-Salafiyah Krangkeng have thus found success with the poetry learning approach for the 2024–2025 school year. modeling the way. As shown by the analysis of the observational data, this method has the potential to increase student engagement in the poetry learning process.

Abstract

Abstrak – Pertumbuhan pesat kafe di Surabaya telah menjadikan ulasan Google Maps sebagai sumber informasi krusial bagi konsumen, namun volume ulasan yang besar menyulitkan untuk analisis secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan analisis sentimen pada ulasan kafe tersebut menggunakan metode Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) yang diperkuat dengan mekanisme Attention. Data ulasan dikumpulkan melalui teknik scraping menggunakan SerpAPI (114.960 ulasan dari 218 kafe) dan dibagi secara sekuensial (Sequential split) untuk pelatihan dan pengujian. Ulasan diklasifikasikan ke dalam tiga kelas sentimen: positif, netral, dan negatif. Model dibangun dengan arsitektur spesifik: embedding layer berdimensi 128, LSTM (64 unit), attention layer, dropout (0,5), dan dense layer dengan tiga output neuron. Evaluasi kinerja model, yang diukur menggunakan akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score, menunjukkan hasil terbaik dengan akurasi 92,45%, presisi 91,84%, recall 92,45%, dan F1-score 92,01%. Model terbukti cukup efektif dalam mendeteksi sentimen ekstrem (positif dan negatif), tetapi kesulitan dalam mengklasifikasikan kelas netral akibat ketidakseimbangan distribusi data. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penyeimbangan data atau penyederhanaan kelas sentimen diperlukan untuk meningkatkan performa model secara keseluruhan pada penelitian mendatang.
