Abstract

This research aims to determine the mathematical creative thinking abilities of class VII students at SMPN 6 Siak Hulu. In this study, four indicators were used, namely fluency indicators, originality indicators, flexibility indicators, and elaboration indicators. In the learning carried out, especially in mathematics learning, students must have the ability to think creatively and mathematically. The ability to think creatively mathematically is the ability to think to find new ideas or thoughts in general or original with the aim of providing definite and precise results. The subjects in this research were 28 class VII students using qualitative descriptive methods. The instrument in this research used four essay questions and interviews on mathematical creative thinking abilities. The results of research on students' mathematical creative thinking abilities at SMPN 6 Siak Hulu obtained meager results. The average percentage for all indicators is 18%. Abstract

Background: The complexity of taxation necessitates highly skilled professionals. Specific Background: Despite demand, factors influencing students' interest in taxation careers are underexplored. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have not adequately examined the combined effects of educational costs, social motivation, career motivation, and tax knowledge on career choices in taxation. Aims: This research investigates how these factors impact the intention to pursue a tax brevet. Results: Using quantitative analysis and Partial Least Squares (PLS) on a sample from Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, the findings indicate that educational costs, social motivation, career motivation, and tax knowledge significantly influence students' interest in taxation careers, highlighting both direct and indirect relationships. Novelty: This study integrates various motivational factors affecting career aspirations in taxation. Implications: The results emphasize the need for tax certificate training programs to enhance accounting graduates' expertise, making iTax ibrevet training essential for aspiring accountants in the taxation field. Abstract

Purpose - This study aimed to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model using Index Card Match on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students of SMAN 1 Pekaitan on the material of three-variable linear equation systems. Methodology - The research method applied is a quasi-experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study consisted of 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. Class X3 as the experimental group, consisting of 30 students and class X1 as the control group, consisting of 26 students. The instrument in this study was a post-test of mathematics learning outcomes, which was analysed using the Independent Sample Test with the help of the SPSS 25 application program. Findings - The results of the study showed a value of 0.004, meaning that the value was significant because the value was <0.005. From the test results, there was a difference between the experimental class group and the control class group. Novelty - This research is important to do because mathematics is still often considered difficult. The use of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model using Index Card Match is very necessary because it can improve student activity, conceptual understanding, and student learning outcomes. Significance - Therefore, this research helps teachers choose new ways to achieve learning objectives. It can be concluded that the use of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model using Index Card Match has an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 1 Pekaitan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a similarity learning module based on ethnomathematics by raising the Troso Jepara fabric motif as a relevant local cultural context, and to examine the validity and practicality of the module in improving students' numeracy literacy. The ethnomathematics approach is used to integrate cultural values in mathematics learning, so that students not only understand the concept of similarity abstractly but are also able to relate it to everyday life. The research method used is the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), with a focus on the development and validation stages. For the Disseminate stage, this stage was not carried out. The instruments used include expert validation sheets and teacher and student response questionnaires. The results of the validation by experts obtained an average final score of 3.62, indicating that the module is in the very valid category with several suggestions for product revision, while the results of teacher and student responses obtained an average score of 3.36 indicating that the module is practical to use. Thus, this module can be an alternative contextual and meaningful teaching material in mathematics learning at junior high school level. The results of this study indicate that the developed learning module has met the criteria of being valid and practical for use. Through this study, teachers can integrate local cultural values into mathematics learning, which not only enriches the ethnomathematics approach but also supports the improvement of students' numeracy literacy. This module has a positive impact on students' ability to understand the concept of similarity and apply it relevantly in the context of local culture, so that learning becomes more meaningful and applicable.
