Abstract

This research is a PTK, which aims to improve students' Indonesian language learning outcomes on Information from Text material through Audio Visual Media. Audio Visual Media is a learning media that contains sound (Audio) and Images (Visual) in the implementation of learning. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 school year. This research was conducted over 2 cycles with 1 cycle of 2 meetings. The sample of this research is all fourth grade students of SD Negeri 066054 Medan Denai totalling 22 people. The data of this study were analysed with quantitative and qualitative approaches collected through observation and giving test questions. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that, through the implementation of learning using Audio Visual media can improve student learning outcomes on the material of Information from Text. Learning outcomes increase every cycle seen from each meeting, namely meeting I average score of 55, meeting II of 58.5 meeting III of 73.5 and the last meeting or IV of 88.2. Audio Visual based learning media turned out to be very helpful for students in understanding and improving their learning outcomes related to the material that had been taught.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran Paired Story Telling terhadap kemampuan menyimak siswa kelas VI di Sekolah Dasar Muslim Suksa, Tahland. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan uji deskriptif dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan SPSS 25.0 for windows. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa pre-test dan post-test dengan metode One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, yang merupakan salah satu metode dalam penelitian eksperimen, di mana hanya menggunakan satu kelompok subjek dan mengukur variabel tertentu sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada saat peneliti pengabdian KKN Internasional di SD Suksa Thailand selama 30 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan meyimak siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Paired Story Telling dengan rata-rata Pre-Test sebesar 50,4 meningkat sesudahnya d pada Post-Test menjadi 86,1. Pengujian hipotesis Paired Sample T-Test dengan SPSS juga dilakukan dalam penelitian. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan perolehan nillai Sig (2-Tailed) sebesar 0,000, di mana nilai tersebut tersebut lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang berarti Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Paired Story Telling efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Menyimak Siswa Kelas VI SD Muslim Suksa Thailand.

Abstract

Strategi penerapan membaca nyaring membuat pikiran siswa lebih fokus dan menimbulkan pertanyaan betapa sulitnya memahami membaca. Manfaat dari buku dongeng fabel yaitu: (1) untuk mengasah emosi, (2) imajinasi, (3) dan meningkatkan daya kritis siswa. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian kuantitatif yang dilaksanakan di Sanggar Belajar Kepong Malaysia, dengan tujuan mengetahui pengaruh buku dongeng fabel terhadap keterampilan membaca siswa kelas II di Sanggar Belajar Kepong Malaysia. Untuk mendapatkan data yang valid dan akurat dari siswa, maka digunakan instrumen non tes berupa lembar observasi.Hasil uji Paired Samples t-Test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara statistik antara dua kelompok data yang diuji. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai p-value (Sig. 2-tailed) (0,001). Gambar cenderung lebih disukai oleh siswa dari pada teks tulisan seperti buku ajar yang hanya memiliki kalimat. Penggunaan buku dongeng fabel dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan perhatian siswa selama pembelajaran. Penggunaan buku dongeng juga dapat meningkatkan pengalaman belajar dan motivasi anak dalam belajar.

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengkaji kesalahan dalam penggunaan huruf kapital dan tanda baca pada paragraf deskriptif karya siswa kelas IV di Sanggar Belajar Kepong, Malaysia, menjadi fokus studi ini. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif serta menggunakan teknik analisis dokumen, dimana data diambil dari tulisan sembilan orang siswa melalui proses observasi serta dokumentasi tersebut kemudian dianalisis melalui tahap-tahap pengurangan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekeliruan yang paling sering terjadi berkaitan dengan penggunaan huruf kapital khususnya saat menulis nama hari serta bulan, dengan persentase sebesar 44% dan masuk kategori “baik” (skor 69–75). Kesalahan lain mencakup pemakaian huruf kapital di awal kalimat dan saat menulis nama orang, masing-masing sebesar 11%, dikategorikan “kurang” dan “cukup baik”. Penggunaan huruf kapital untuk nama tempat juga menunjukkan persentase kesalahan sebesar 11% dan berada dalam kategori “cukup baik”. Selain itu, kesalahan tanda baca, misalnya titik dan tanda tanya. juga ditemukan dengan persentase kesalahan masing-masing 11%, termasuk kategori “baik”. Secara umum, Kesalahan tersebut mencerminkan rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap kaidah ejaan dan tanda baca masih perlu ditingkatkan. Faktor penyebabnya antara lain kurangnya motivasi belajar, pembiasaan menulis yang belum optimal, dan kurang inovatifnya metode pembelajaran guru

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using word search puzzle media on the skimming reading skills of fourth-grade students at Sanggar Belajar Kampung Bharu, Malaysia. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest–posttest design. The population consisted of 12 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through a skimming reading observation sheet that had been validated by a subject matter expert in Indonesian language education, and were analyzed using a paired sample t-test through SPSS 25.0. The results showed that the average score of students’ skimming reading skills was 52.50% in the pretest and 88% in the posttest. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) was obtained, indicating that the use of word search puzzle media has a significant effect on the skimming reading skills of fourth-grade students at Sanggar Belajar Kampung Bharu, Malaysia.

Abstract

This study is to investigate how learning outcomes are impacted by the usage of booklet media of fourth-grade primary school pupils at Sanggar Belajar Pandan Malaysia on the subject of metamorphosis. This study's backdrop is the low comprehension of metamorphosis content among students, which is said to be brought on by the learning media's lack of attractiveness and diversity. A quantitative experiment is the research method employed, with 16 students serving as the population and sample. The instrument consisted of a pre-test also post-test with  give them multiple choice questions. Students' average pre-test score was 50.9, according to the analysis's findings, while their post-test score rose to 75.18. The findings of the hypothesis test showed a p-value of 0.000 with a paired sample test, which implies that the use of booklet media has a substantial impact on student learning outcomes. This study presents guidelines for the use of cutting-edge learning materials in the scientific teaching process at the elementarry school level in addition to determining that booklet media effectively boost students’ grasp of methamorphosis subject. It is expecteed that the findings of this study will contribute to develop the learning materials that are more relevant and engaging while also meeting students’ needs.

Abstract

Mathematics in Elementary School is often considered as one of the most avoided subjects by students. it causes students to have low learning outcomes. Mathematics learning is not just conveying the knowledge that teachers have to their students, it is a stage to solve more complex problems. The method in this study is PTK. This study aims to determine how the use of smart board media to improve the numeracy skills of class II students on the addition material at the Guidance 'Aisyiyah Pandan Malaysia studio using learning media in the form of Smart Boards. The results show that the average value of Mathematics learning outcomes for students' Addition material in the pre-cycle was 43.33% with classical completeness of 33.3% in the less category. While cycle I shows that the average value of student test results is 64.16% with classical completeness of 58.33% which is in the sufficient category and cycle II the average value of student test results is 82.5 with classical completeness of 83.33% which is in the good category. Thus it can be concluded that the use of smart board learning media can improve students' arithmetic skills in learning Mathematics on Addition material at the 'Aisyiyah Pandan Malaysia guidance studio. By implementing the use of smart board learning media at the Guidance Studio, it is expected that the quality of learning will be improved and students can better understand learning, especially addition material.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Project-Based Learning (PBL) implementation on students' thinking skills at Sanggar Pandan Malaysia. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with 12 students as participants, divided into experimental and control groups. Data collection utilized pre-test and post-test measurements of critical thinking, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills through standardized thinking skills assessment instruments. The findings revealed significant improvements in students' thinking skills, with the experimental group showing enhanced collaborative learning, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking capabilities compared to the control group. Statistical analysis indicated significant differences (p < 0.05) between pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental group. The study concludes that PBL effectively enhances students' higher-order thinking skills through real-world problem-solving activities and collaborative learning environments. These findings contribute to educational practices in Malaysia, particularly in developing 21st-century skills among students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students' numeracy skills in learning multiplication. The study aims to describe the effect of using multiplication board media on students' numeracy skills at Sanggar Belajar Kampung Bharu Malaysia. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 8 third-grade students at Sanggar Belajar Kampung Bharu Malaysia, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were obtained through pretest and posttest assessments related to numeracy skill indicators, namely formulating problems, applying concepts, and interpreting answer results. The research results showed that the average pretest score of 66.25% increased to 96.25% in the posttest. The Shapiro–Wilk test indicated that the data were normally distributed, while the paired sample t-test result obtained a significance value of 0.004 < 0.05, thus H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. This proves that there is a significant influence of using multiplication board media on students' numeracy skills.
