Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model combined with Question Card media to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics. The study was conducted at UPTD SDN 190 Barru, focusing on 15 fourth-grade students. Initial observations revealed that most students struggled with understanding mathematics, particularly in flat shapes, due to monotonous teaching methods and low student motivation. The TGT model, known for its cooperative nature and competitive elements, was implemented to enhance student engagement and motivation. Question Card media, which stimulates active learning through questions and visuals, was used to complement the TGT model. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) followed a four-stage process: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that after implementing the TGT model with Question Card media in the first cycle, 53.3% of students achieved the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), and after the second cycle, 86.7% of students achieved KKM. The study concludes that the combination of TGT and Question Card media significantly improves student learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how the application of the problem-based learning (PBL) model can help students analyze Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons at SMK Pesantren Darul Dakwah. PBL is used to teach students to think critically, analytically, and find solutions to religious problems. This study used a qualitative approach with a classroom action research (PTK) design, which was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that PBL can help students analyze PAI materials. This was evident by the observation results which showed better task assessment, and more active and critical student participation in group discussions. This research proposes a wider application of PBL model in Islamic Education learning in SMK to improve students' understanding and analysis skills in the context of religious learning.

Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis literatur yang ada mengenai penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif dalam mengembangkan sikap sosial siswa sekolah dasar. Sikap sosial yang positif merupakan fondasi penting bagi perkembangan holistik siswa dan kemampuan mereka untuk berinteraksi secara efektif dalam masyarakat. Berdasarkan tinjauan sistematis terhadap artikel-artikel penelitian kualitatif yang relevan, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana berbagai model pembelajaran kooperatif diterapkan dan dampaknya terhadap aspek-aspek perilaku sosial siswa, termasuk kerja sama, empati, tanggung jawab, dan komunikasi. Hasil analisa sintesis menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif memiliki potensi signifikan dalam menumbuhkan sikap sosial yang positif melalui interaksi, kolaborasi, dan tanggung jawab bersama. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam implementasinya serta strategi yang digunakan untuk mengatasinya. Hasil penelitian memberikan wawasan berharga bagi para pendidik dalam memilih dan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan pengembangan sosial siswa di sekolah dasar. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas jangka panjang dan implementasi dalam berbagai konteks pendidikan.
