Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model combined with Question Card media to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics. The study was conducted at UPTD SDN 190 Barru, focusing on 15 fourth-grade students. Initial observations revealed that most students struggled with understanding mathematics, particularly in flat shapes, due to monotonous teaching methods and low student motivation. The TGT model, known for its cooperative nature and competitive elements, was implemented to enhance student engagement and motivation. Question Card media, which stimulates active learning through questions and visuals, was used to complement the TGT model. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) followed a four-stage process: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that after implementing the TGT model with Question Card media in the first cycle, 53.3% of students achieved the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), and after the second cycle, 86.7% of students achieved KKM. The study concludes that the combination of TGT and Question Card media significantly improves student learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

Hasil belajar dapat dimaksimalkan melalu penggunaan media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan salah satu media pembelajaran, yaitu media Power Point Interaktif tentang sistem peredaran darah manusia untuk siswa kelas 5. Power Point Interaktif ini dirancang dengan fitur seperti animasi, latihan, dan hyperlink untuk mempermudah pemahaman dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian berjenis pengembangan dengan desain  pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahapan Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Subjek penelitian melibatkan ahli sebagai validator dan siswa sebagai pengguna. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar penilaian yang dievaluasi oleh ahli media dan materi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Power Point Interaktif yang dikembangkan memperoleh sknor validasi sebesar 84%, yang masuk dalam kategori "Sangat Baik." Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media ini sangat layak diterapkan dalam proses belajar siswa. Sifat Interaktif dari Power Point membantu memperjelas konsep kompleks dan menambah motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The decline in the character values of students has become a crucial issue in the field of education today. MI Nurul Ilmi in the city of Bima responds to this condition by implementing a positive school culture as an effort to shape students' character with noble morals. This study aims to describe the process and impact of implementing positive school culture in strengthening character education for students at MI Nurul Ilmi in Bima City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the school principal, teachers, and students. Data analysis was performed through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the positive school culture at MI Nurul Ilmi is implemented through five habituations, namely: Activities in Accordance with the Values of the Pancasila Student Profile, Implementation of Positive and Restorative Discipline, Appreciative Cultural Activities and Positive Reinforcement, Collaboration Activities with Parents and the Community, and Practices of Physical and Social Environments that Support. The implementation of positive school culture at MI Nurul Ilmi in Bima City has shown significant effectiveness in shaping students' character.
