Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model on mathematics learning outcomes among third-grade students at UPTD SD Negeri 190 Barru. Conducted as classroom action research (CAR), this study involved 20 students as participants. The research was carried out over two cycles, each comprising four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results revealed a significant improvement in students' performance. In Cycle I, only 9 students (45%) achieved the minimum passing grade (KKM) of 70, while 11 students (55%) did not. However, after refining the implementation of the TSTS model in Cycle II, 17 students (85%) met the KKM, leaving only 3 students (15%) below the threshold. This improvement demonstrates the effectiveness of the TSTS model in enhancing mathematics learning outcomes by promoting collaboration and active participation among students. The findings suggest that cooperative learning models like TSTS are beneficial for addressing challenges in teaching abstract subjects such as mathematics.

Abstract

Hasil belajar dapat dimaksimalkan melalu penggunaan media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan salah satu media pembelajaran, yaitu media Power Point Interaktif tentang sistem peredaran darah manusia untuk siswa kelas 5. Power Point Interaktif ini dirancang dengan fitur seperti animasi, latihan, dan hyperlink untuk mempermudah pemahaman dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian berjenis pengembangan dengan desainĀ  pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahapan Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Subjek penelitian melibatkan ahli sebagai validator dan siswa sebagai pengguna. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar penilaian yang dievaluasi oleh ahli media dan materi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Power Point Interaktif yang dikembangkan memperoleh sknor validasi sebesar 84%, yang masuk dalam kategori "Sangat Baik." Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media ini sangat layak diterapkan dalam proses belajar siswa. Sifat Interaktif dari Power Point membantu memperjelas konsep kompleks dan menambah motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the tolerance attitudes and learning outcomes offourth-grade students at SD Inpres BTN IKIP I, which are partly caused by the useof passive methods. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of the ValueClarification Technique (VCT) learning model on learning outcomes and tolerancecharacter.This quantitative study used a one-group pretest-posttest design with asample of 25 fourth-grade students at SD Inpres BTN IKIP I selected throughsampling. Data were collected using learning outcome tests, tolerance characterquestionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics,normality tests, and paired-sample t-tests.The results showed that theimplementation of the VCT model significantly improved students' learningoutcomes and tolerance character. Average learning outcomes increased from55.13 to 85.86, and tolerance character scores increased from 42.6 to 90.2. Thisconsistent and even improvement demonstrates the effectiveness of VCT inhelping students internalize Pancasila values, think critically, and develop positivesocial attitudes
