Abstract

The Discovery Learning (DL) paradigm is a learning approach that encourages students to independently discover knowledge and concepts through active engagement in the learning process. This approach has been widely applied in various teaching methods, particularly in Indonesian language learning. However, traditional teaching methods, such as lectures, are still frequently used in many classrooms, where the teacher plays a dominant role and minimally involves students actively. As a result, students lose interest and enthusiasm for the material being taught and are less engaged in the learning process.The implementation of the Discovery Learning model provides opportunities for students to be more active in the learning process, thereby supporting the successful achievement of learning objectives. This study aims to analyze how the Discovery Learning approach can improve elementary school students' reading comprehension skills. The approach used in this research is a literature review of previous studies published in the last five years.A total of 15 relevant articles were collected and analyzed to gain insights into the effectiveness of this learning model. The results of the review indicate that Discovery Learning can enhance student engagement, build better reading comprehension, and increase students' interest in learning. Therefore, Discovery Learning is an effective learning model to be applied in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Teori himpunan merupakan aspek dasar dalam matematika modern yang menyediakan alat penting untuk mengorganisasikan dan memahami kumpulan objek.Artikel ini menyajikan eksplorasi mendalam tentang prinsip dasar teori himpunan,termasuk konsep utama,notasi,dan operasi standar seperti gabungan,irisan,selisih,dan produk kartesius.Melalui tinjauan sistematis,artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana operasi operasi inti ini mendukung penalaran matematis dan pemecahan masalah yang kompleks.Dengan mengilustrasikan penerapannya dalam berbagai konteks dunia nyata,studi ini menunjukkan bagaimana teori himpunan menjadi dasar bagi sistem penting dalam komputasi,analisis data,dan proses pengambilan keputusan.Sebagai contoh,dalam manajemen basis data,operasi himpunan sangat penting dalam perumusan kueri,memungkinkan penggabungan dan penyaringan data yang mirip dengan operasi gabungan dan irisan pada himpunan.Begitu pula,dalam ilmu data,teori himpunan memfasilitasi perbandingan dan pengelompokkan kumpulan data,yang penting dalam tugas tugas mulai dari algoritma rekomendasi hingga analisis statistik.Selain itu,artikel ini menyoroti peran teori himpunan dalam disiplin ilmu sosial,dimana teori ini mendukung kategorisasi dan segmentasi demografi.Pada akhirnya,artikel ini menegaskan fleksibilitas dan aplikasi teori himpunan.,menekankan perannya sebagai jembatan antara konsep matematika abstrak dan aplikasi praktis diberbagai bidang.

Abstract

Indonesian language has a complex morphological structure, one of which is through the use of morphemes, the smallest units with meaning in word formation. Deep understanding and recognition of morphemes are crucial, especially in the context of teaching the Indonesian language at the elementary school level. However, mistakes in the use of word structures, such as incorrect affixation or non-standard forms, are still often found among students, both in writing and daily conversation. This study aims to analyze the classification of morphemes and the principles of their recognition in the Indonesian language, as well as explore how the correct application of morphology can improve students' language comprehension. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with library research from SINTA-accredited scientific journals. The results of the study show that morphemes can be classified into free morphemes, bound morphemes, derivational morphemes, inflectional morphemes, and functional morphemes, each of which plays an essential role in word formation and meaning. Furthermore, the study also identifies that systematic and practical recognition of morphemes can enhance students' language skills, particularly in writing and reading. Mistakes in the use of morphemes in social media also indicate that morphological education is crucial for digital literacy. It is hoped that these findings can contribute to the development of Indonesian language teaching that is more applicable and relevant to students' communication needs in the digital age.
