Abstract

Tracer study of Surabaya State University has been conducted in each study program in order to fulfill accreditation needs. Instrument development is still carried out independently at the study program and faculty levels so that the disparity of instruments in each faculty is very high. This study will later aim to create an effective alumni tracing model in achieving a response rate. Because in several universities throughout Indonesia, a superior model has not been found and detailed properly. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya who had obtained diplomas throughout 2022. The sample used was a saturated sample considering that this study aims to explore graduate data related to careers. The results showed that the response rate reached 100%, with more than 67.8% of graduates getting jobs in less than six months with an income of at least 1.2 times the UMP, exceeding the institution's target. This tracer study plays an important role in evaluating the quality of graduates and the relevance of education to the world of work. These findings provide a basis for improving the curriculum and quality of education at Universitas Negeri Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure on financial performance. The independent variables include environmental disclosure, social disclosure, and governance disclosure, while the dependent variable is financial performance, proxied by Return on Assets (ROA t +1). The research focuses on coal mining and oil and gas companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2023 period. The data analysis method employed is panel data multiple linear regression using the Random Effect Model (REM), processed with EViews 12 SV software. The study comprises 84 observations selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that environmental and governance disclosures have no significant effect on financial performance. In contrast, social disclosure has a negative impact on financial performance. Additionally, the simultaneous disclosure of ESG dimensions significantly influences financial performance, indicating that transparent and consistent ESG reporting may help reduce business risk and enhance firm value. These results highlight the need for more strategic ESG practices to support long-term financial sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cost of quality at Mie Wahyu UMKM to achieve zero defects. The background of this study is the high number of defective products experienced by MSMEs during September-December 2023. The purpose of the quality cost analysis is to determine the amount of quality costs and to be useful as a basis for further quality improvements so that there are no more defective products (zero defects). The method used in this study is a case study with sources from observations, interviews, and documentation at the Mie Wahyu UMKM production site. Furthermore, the data collected was processed and analyzed using the quality cost method. The results of the study showed that during the year from September to December, the average total cost of quality per sale was 6,5%. This means that the total cost of quality per sale is still above the optimal figure of 2.5% per actual sale. The high cost of quality proves that there are still customer complaints, so that Mie Wahyu UMKM must improve quality by carrying out regular maintenance, periodic inspections, employee training, etc. in order to achieve zero defects.
