Abstract

Global warming is a complex problem. In the global warming material, students are expected to analyze the phenomenon of global warming, the greenhouse effect and climate change and their impact on life and the environment. In addition, students are also required to be able to bring up the idea of solving the symptoms of global warming and its impact on life and the environment. To overcome the effects of global warming, the necessary critical thinking skills of students using the corresponding worksheets. The purpose of this study is to develop a global warming worksheets that can foster students' critical thinking skills. The method used by the R & D stage of development following the model of the 4-D by Thiagarajan and Sammel (1974). This model consists of four stages of development, ie define, design, develop, and disseminate. In this article, the study was limited to the design phase. Results of the study concluded LKS to foster critical thinking skills of students on global warming material has a systematic learning model 7E learning cycle with the stages Elicit (raises an initial understanding of students), Engagement (involved), Exploration (investigate), Explanation (explain), Elaboration ( outlines), Evaluation (judge), and Extend (expand). Keywords: Worksheet, Learning Cycle 7E, critical thinking.

Abstract

This research aims to design and test an efficient and sustainable renewable energy-based automation system for poultry farm operations in rural areas such as Sukadana, East Lampung. The system utilizes solar panels as the primary energy source integrated with automation components, including a humidity control fan, heating sensor, submersible water supply pump, and booster pump for the drinking system. Research steps include a literature review, field needs analysis, prototype design and development, and laboratory testing. Results indicate that the system maintains coop temperatures within the optimal range of 29–34°C and humidity at 50–55%, while reducing energy consumption by up to 43% compared to conventional systems reliant on PLN electricity. These findings underscore the potential of solar panels in areas with high sunlight intensity and demonstrate that integrating IoT with renewable energy can reduce dependency on conventional electricity and lower long-term operational costs. Implementing renewable energy-based automation solutions can benefit farms with limited energy access, enhancing efficiency and sustainability. Development recommendations include increasing energy storage capacity and strengthening IoT-based monitoring systems to optimize performance under diverse weather conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and recommend the development of a digital marketing application for MSMEs in Central Lampung, with a focus on addressing operational challenges and limited market access. Using the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach with the Waterfall method, this research examines the necessary features to improve operational efficiency, expand market reach, and support data-driven decision-making. The key features recommended include a digital product catalog, payment integration, customer notifications, order tracking, and an analytics dashboard. This application is expected to reduce reliance on costly traditional promotional methods, while enhancing product visibility and customer interaction. However, challenges such as low digital literacy and limited internet infrastructure in some areas remain barriers that must be addressed through training, infrastructure improvement, and incentive strategies. The study suggests further research to evaluate the long-term impact and the potential application of advanced technologies to support more personalized and effective marketing strategies for MSMEs.
