Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Islamic literacy-based STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) multimedia in enhancing students' computational thinking skills in a basic physics practicum course. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a mixed-methods approach, involving two groups: an experimental group that received instruction through Islamic literacy-based STEM multimedia and a control group that used conventional methods. The instruments used included a computational thinking skills test, designed to measure four primary indicators: abstraction, algorithm, decomposition, and pattern generalization, as well as in-depth interviews to explore students' learning experiences. Quantitative data were analyzed using a t-test to determine significant differences between the two groups, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically. The findings indicated a significant improvement across all computational thinking indicators in the experimental group. Qualitative analysis further revealed that integrating Islamic literacy deepened students' understanding of physics concepts, offering a spiritual context that enriched their learning experiences. These findings suggest that Islamic literacy-based STEM multimedia is not only effective in enhancing computational thinking skills but is also well-suited for educational contexts that integrate technology and spirituality. The implications of this study support the development of a holistic curriculum in STEM education aligned with spiritual values.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of project-based learning (PjBL) integrated with microteaching on the creative thinking skills and technological literacy of prospective physics teachers at UIN Raden Intan Lampung with a mixed methods approach. As the demands of 21st-century education emphasize the importance of these skills, it is critical to evaluate innovative teaching methods that address these needs. A quasi-experimental design was used, involving two groups: an experimental group taught using the PjBL microteaching model and a control group using conventional methods. Creative hhinking skills was assessed using torrance tests of creative thinking (TTCT), measuring fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Technological literacy was evaluated through a structured questionnaire assessing skills in technology use, understanding, and integration in learning contexts. Results revealed a significant improvement in both creative thinking skills and technological literacy in the experimental group compared to the control group. Specifically, the PjBL microteaching model was more effective in enhancing students' ability to generate diverse ideas and utilize technology effectively in educational settings. These findings suggest that integrating PjBL with microteaching can better prepare future physics educators for the technological and creative demands of modern teaching environments

Abstract

4C skills are one of the abilities in life that can produce knowledge personally and be used in society. This study aimed to develop an instrument for assessing students' 4C skills (Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Communication, and Creativity) on parabolic motion material. The model used in developing this research is the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection methods were interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation with a population of 120 students and a sample of 60 students. The sample selection technique uses cluster random sampling. Based on the study results, the percentage of critical thinking criteria was 21.7 percent, low critical thinking was 28.3 percent, and poor critical thinking was 50 percent. The percentages with creative thinking criteria are 25 percent, 40 percent moderately creative, and 35 percent less creative. The percentage of collaboration skills that meet excellent criteria is 65 percent, and high collaboration skills are 35 percent. While the percentage of people with excellent communication skills was 8.3 percent, high communication skill was 83.3 percent, and fairly high communication skill was 8.3 percent. Based on these data, it concluded that the instruments developed were valid and feasible to use.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to explore the roles and challenges faced by graduates of Educational Administration in managing educational institutions. The identified issues include the need for competent professionals in the field of educational management, as well as challenges in responding to changes in policy, curriculum, and technology. The method used is a literature study by collecting data from various academic sources, including books, journals, and relevant articles. The research stages in this article include collecting data through a literature review of 11 relevant academic articles, followed by descriptive qualitative analysis to identify the roles, opportunities, and challenges of educational administration graduates as professional education personnel in schools. The analysis emphasizes the validity and credibility of sources to produce in-depth understanding and strong theoretical contributions. The findings indicate that educational administration plays an important role in resource management and improving education quality, but graduates often face difficulties in applying theory to practice. The conclusion of this study highlights the importance of continuous training and skill development for education personnel to improve the quality of education and ensure graduates are prepared to face challenges in the workforce. Therefore, Educational Administration graduates hold a strategic position in filling educational staff roles in schools, and they also face diverse opportunities and challenges, especially with the advancement of digital technology. ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi peran dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh Sarjana Administrasi Pendidikan dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan. Masalah yang diidentifikasi mencakup kebutuhan akan profesional yang kompeten di bidang manajemen pendidikan, serta tantangan dalam menghadapi perubahan kebijakan, kurikulum, dan teknologi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber akademis, termasuk buku, jurnal, dan artikel yang relevan. Tahapan penelitian dalam artikel ini meliputi pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur dari 11 artikel akademik yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengidentifikasi peranan, peluang, dan tantangan sarjana administrasi pendidikan sebagai tenaga kependidikan profesional di sekolah. Analisis dilakukan dengan menekankan validitas dan kredibilitas sumber untuk menghasilkan pemahaman yang mendalam dan kontribusi teoritis yang kuat. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa administrasi pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam pengelolaan sumber daya dan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, namun lulusan ini sering kali menghadapi kesulitan dalam menerapkan teori ke dalam praktik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan dan pengembangan keterampilan bagi tenaga kependidikan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan memastikan lulusan ini siap menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja. Jadi Sarjana Administrasi Pendidikan memiliki posisi yang strategis dakam mengisi peluang tenaga kependidikan di sekolah, selain itu peluang dan tantangan di sarjana ini juga sangat beragam terutama dalam kemajuan teknologi digital.
