Abstract

The presentation of LKPD, especially in science learning, needs to experience innovation, including the use of technology to improve the quality of learning, namely by developing E-LKPD. Previous research has developed a STEM-PjBL based Science E-LKPD, but the response of class IV students to the E-LKPD is not yet known. This research aims to determine students' responses to STEM-PjBL-based Science E-LKPD. This research uses qualitative data and quantitative data. The research results were obtained based on the results of the student and teacher response instruments to the STEM-PjBL based Science E-LKPD which got an average percentage of 83% on the one to one test UI and the students' response results got an average percentage of 95% with very good category in small group trials, and teacher responses were 93%, all of which reflect suitability and excellence in various important aspects of learning.

Abstract

Learning in the 21st century focuses on the use of advanced technology. At the elementary school level, digital-based learning innovation is important in creating a dynamic and interesting learning environment. This research aims to develop STEM-PjBL based e-LKPD and determine its validity and effectiveness on students' collaboration skills. This development uses a 4D model made by Thiagarajan which consists of 4 stages, namely Define, Design, Development and Disseminate.  With quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. Expert validation results show 86.9% is very valid and suitable for use. The responses of students and teachers showed very good results and were quite effective in supporting the improvement of students' collaboration skills, as seen from the n-gain scores of 0.5 and 0.4 in the "medium" category.

Abstract

Authentic assessment plays a critical role in evaluating students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes through tasks that reflect real-life situations. In elementary science learning, practicum activities provide meaningful opportunities for students to develop scientific understanding and hands-on skills, making authentic assessment particularly relevant. This study aims to examine how authentic assessment is applied in science practicum activities in elementary schools and how it contributes to improving learning quality and students’ practical abilities. Using a literature review method, this study analyzes findings from national and international scientific articles related to authentic assessment, science learning, and practicum-based evaluation. The review reveals that authentic assessment—conducted through performance tasks, observation, rubrics, portfolios, and project-based evaluations—offers a holistic measure of students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies. Its implementation in science practicum enhances students’ scientific process skills, critical thinking, collaboration, and conceptual understanding. Furthermore, authentic assessment provides teachers with detailed diagnostic information to develop targeted feedback and appropriate instructional decisions. Overall, the integration of authentic assessment in science practicum activities strengthens the learning process and supports the development of students’ scientific skills in meaningful and contextual ways.
