Abstract

Classroom action research (CAR) is a method often used in education to improve the quality of learning through a cycle of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection in PTK is very important to understand learning problems and evaluate the effectiveness of the actions taken. This article discusses in depth the data collection techniques which include observation and interview. The observation technique consists of two types, namely participant and non-participant. Participant observation involves the researcher in the same activities as the participants, so the data obtained is more complete. In contrast, non-participant observation is carried out without the direct involvement of the researcher, only by recording and analyzing the behavior of the subject. In addition, interviews were used to explore in-depth information from subjects related to the learning process and outcomes. By combining these two methods, the data obtained becomes more comprehensive and valid, so that it can support a more objective reflection process and continuous improvement in learning. This article hopes to provide a better understanding of the importance of data collection in PTK and how the implementation of observation and interviews can improve the quality of educational research.

Abstract

The implementation of active learning at the Tahfizh Kiswah School aims to increase student involvement in memorising the Qur'an. The contribution of Tarbiyah students of the MPI and PGMI Study Programs in this service is in the form of the application of interactive and active participation-based learning methods, such as group discussions, role plays, and project-based learning. This method is expected to accelerate the process of memorisation, and students' understanding of the verses taught. Active learning is expected to increase student motivation, reduce boredom, and deepen understanding of the meaning of the Qur'an. The results of this service show that students are more active in participating in learning activities, thereby improving the quality of teaching at the Tahfizh Kiswah School. With the application of this method, it is hoped that a more fun and productive learning atmosphere can be created, as well as strengthen students' skills in memorising the Quran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pendekatan kontekstual diterapkan dalam pengajaran bilangan cacah di SD Daarut Tauhiid Batam. Pendekatan ini dipilih untuk mempermudah siswa dalam memahami konsep bilangan cacah melalui konteks kehidupan sehari-hari, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu yang melibatkan siswa kelas 1 dan 2 di SD Daarut Tauhiid Batam sebagai sampel. Data diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep bilangan cacah sebelum dan sesudah penerapan pendekatan kontekstual, serta kuesioner motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang berarti dalam pemahaman konsep bilangan cacah setelah penerapan pendekatan ini. Pendekatan kontekstual juga terbukti berdampak positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Temuan penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi siswa pada pembelajaran bilangan cacah di tingkat sekolah dasar.
