Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of the Government Employees with Work Agreement (PPPK) policy on teacher work motivation in Indonesia. The PPPK policy was introduced as an effort to improve the quality of education by providing official status to honorary teachers. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews with PPPK teachers in several schools. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the PPPK policy significantly increases teacher work motivation, which is reflected in increased welfare, recognition of status, and responsibility. These findings indicate that although the PPPK policy has great potential to improve the quality of education, challenges in its implementation need to be overcome so that positive impacts can be maximized. Recommendations are given to analyze planning, needs and improve motivation. With clear evaluation and performance standards, teachers tend to be more responsible in carrying out their duties professionally. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak implementasi kebijakan Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja (PPPK) terhadap motivasi kerja guru di Indonesia. Kebijakan PPPK diperkenalkan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan memberikan status resmi kepada guru honorer. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualiitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada guru PPPK di beberapa sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan PPPK secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru, yang tercermin dari peningkatan kesejahteraan, pengakuan status, dan tanggung jawab.Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kebijakan PPPK memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, tantangan dalam implementasinya perlu diatasi agar dampak positif dapat dimaksimalkan. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk menganalisis perencanaan, kebutuhan dan meningkatkan motivasi.Dengan adanya evaluasi dan standar kinerja yang jelas, guru cenderung lebih bertanggung jawab dalam melaksanakan tugas mereka dengan profesional.

Abstract

Education has a strategic role in increasing the excellence of a nation. The principal's strategy is an important factor in determining the success of improving quality in schools. This research aims to describe the principal's strategy for planning, implementation, supervision and obstacles in improving the quality of education. The right principal strategy will make a change in the quality of education. This research aims to map the results of previous research related to school principal strategies in improving the quality of education. The method used is literature study. Data collection was carried out by collecting scientific articles relevant to the research topic. The analysis used is content analysis. From the analysis carried out by researchers, the findings in this study are as follows. 1) The school principal's strategy for improving the quality of education consists of teaching staff development strategies, learning strategies, strategies for increasing academic and non-academic achievements, facilities and infrastructure strategies, financing strategies, public relations strategies (public relations), and monitoring and evaluation strategies. 2) Supporting factors for implementing the principal's strategy in improving the quality of education. 3) Factors inhibiting the implementation of school principal strategies in improving the quality of education. 4) The impact of the principal's strategy in improving the quality of education. ABSTRAKPendidikan memiliki peran yang strategis guna meningkatkan keunggulan suatu bangsa. Strategi kepala sekolah merupakan faktor yang penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan peningkatan mutu disekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendesripsikan strategi kepala sekolah dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan dan hambatan dalam meningkatkan mutu Pendidikan. Strategi kepala sekolah yang tepat akan membuat suatu perubahan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan hasil penelitian terdahulu terkait dengan strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan artikel ilmiah yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis isi. Berdasarkan analisa peneliti, hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. 1) Strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, terdiri dari strategi pengembangan tenaga pendidik, strategi pembelajaran, strategi peningkatan prestasi akademik dan non akademik, strategi sarana dan prasarana,strategi  pembiayaan, strategi  hubungan masyarakat  (humas), dan strategi pengawasan dan evaluasi. 2) Faktor pendukung implementasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. 3) Kendala implementasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. 4) Dampak strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of academic quality improvement at SMP Negeri 1 Wiradesa, Pekalongan Regency. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects include the principal, vice principal for curriculum affairs, teachers, administrative staff, school committee members, and parents. Data collection techniques involve interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the management of academic quality improvement includes: (1) planning, through identifying academic quality needs, analyzing problems, formulating goals and targets, and preparing policies and budgets; (2) organizing, through the formation of an academic quality team, clear task distribution, regular coordination, and the involvement of parents and the school committee; (3) implementation, through directing and organizing activities, motivating the team, and monitoring program implementation; and (4) supervision, through structured evaluations, the use of appropriate assessment instruments, and follow-up on evaluation results. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for other schools in developing sustainable strategies for improving academic quality.
