Abstract

AbstractLearning and assessment are an inseparable whole. Assessment, if designed appropriately, thoroughly and used appropriately in assessment procedures, can contribute to effective learning and have an impact on the competence of quality students. This study aims to analyze the need for project-based authentic assessment of teachers in elementary schools. This research includes descriptive qualitative research on elementary school teachers in Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java. Data was collected through literature studies of reputable international articles indexed by Scopus and field studies through questionnaires distributed to 103 elementary school teachers, interviews, and documentation studies of 10 elementary school teachers. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model includes: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study showed that the majority of teachers' assessments focused on the knowledge aspect using a multiple-choice test, the attitude aspect using observation, and the skill aspect using project assessment. Due to a lack of references, teachers struggle to develop assessment instruments and thus lack a clear rubric. The conclusion of this study is that teachers have difficulty implementing project-based authentic assessments so they need a practical authentic assessment companion book.Keywords: authentic assessments, project-based, primary school teacher.AbstrakPembelajaran dan penilaian menjadi satu kesatuan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan. Penilaian bila dirancang dengan tepat, menyeluruh dan digunakan secara tepat dalam prosedur penilaian dapat berkontribusi pada pembelajaran yang efektif serta berdampak pada kompetensi peserta didik yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan penilaian autentik berbasis proyek terhadap guru di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif deskriptif terhadap guru Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Banjarnegara, Jawa Tengah. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur artikel internasional bereputasi terindeks scopus dan studi lapangan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan terhadap 103 guru SD, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap 10 guru SD. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman meliputi: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk penilaian mayoritas guru pada aspek pengetahuan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda, aspek sikap dengan menggunakan observasi, dan aspek keterampilan diukur dengan penilaian proyek. Guru kesulitan dalam mengembangan instrumen penilaian sehingga tidak memiliki rubrik yang jelas diakibatkan kurangnya referensi. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa guru kesulitan menerapkan penilaian autentik berbasis proyek sehingga membutuhkan buku pendamping penilaian autentik yang praktis.Kata kunci: penilaian autentik, berbasis proyek, guru sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Desa Medalsari di Kabupaten Karawang memiliki potensi untuk menjadi desa wisata berkat lanskap alam yang indah dan keberadaan objek wisata seperti air terjun Green Canyon. Namun, pandemi Covid-19 dan kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pengelolaan desa wisata menjadi kendala utama. Dengan dicabutnya pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat pada 2022, Desa Medalsari memiliki peluang untuk memulai kembali promosi pariwisata melalui strategi pemasaran digital. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat Desa Medalsari dalam mempromosikan pariwisata melalui pelatihan penulisan naskah iklan dan penggunaan media sosial. Kegiatan ini mencakup penyuluhan dasar penulisan, pelatihan teknik AIDA untuk naskah iklan, pembuatan materi visual dengan aplikasi Canva, dan pendampingan pengelolaan akun media sosial. Peserta terdiri dari pemuda, pelaku usaha lokal, dan aparat desa. Setelah pelatihan, evaluasi partisipatif dilakukan bersama mitra untuk menilai keberhasilan program dan mengidentifikasi kendala. Hasil monitoring menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai promosi digital serta kemajuan pengelolaan akun media sosial Desa Medalsari. Program ini menjadi langkah awal strategis untuk membangun kesadaran ekonomi kreatif berbasis pariwisata di desa tersebut.

Abstract

The high rate of drug abuse among elementary school students in Karawang Regency poses a significant challenge for teachers in implementing both preventive and curative measures. One proposed solution is to conduct an assertive communication training program aimed at enhancing students' knowledge about drug prevention. This community service initiative was carried out at SDN Medalsari 3, located in Medalsari Village, Karawang Regency, to evaluate the effectiveness of the training. The findings demonstrated that the assertive communication training program effectively improved elementary school students' knowledge of drug prevention. Based on these results, it is recommended that the Medalsari Village government and school leaders continue to support and organize assertive communication training programs as a preventive measure. Such efforts should be prioritized early in the developmental stages of children, particularly for students at SDN Medalsari 3, to reduce the risk of drug abuse.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the effect of TikTok usage on the level of learning motivation and personal academic abilities of 5th grade elementary school students. This research approach uses of quantitative Ex-post facto research approach. In this study they were 72 fifth grade student respondents from 4 different elementary schools in the Kedaung Kaliangke area, West Jakarta. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire and used of Indonesia language subject and mathematics to measure students’ academic abilities with indicators of reading, writing and arithmetic. The result of this study indicate that as many as 92% of respondents have a personal TikTok account and the application is used most often after school (62%) and before going to sleep (53%). As many as 68% of respondents regularly watch TikTok videos for 15-60 minutes per day and 28% of respondents regularly watch TikTok for more than 60 minutes per day. Meanwhile, based on the academic ability test, it was found that the average score of reading ability was 126 words per minute, the average score of writing ability was 27.8 and the average score of arithmetic ability was 4.06.  Thus, based on the Pearson Correlation calculation which states that the p-value (0.722) > 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between the intensity of TikTok use and students' academic abilities.
