Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of green leadership and human resource management (HRM) on green economy-based innovation in sustainable industries in North Sumatra. Using a quantitative approach through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected from several environmentally oriented companies. The findings reveal that green leadership has a positive and significant effect on green economy-based innovation, and also significantly influences sustainability-adaptive HRM practices. However, HRM does not have a direct significant effect on green innovation. Nonetheless, HRM plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between green leadership and green economy-based innovation. This research highlights the strategic importance of green leadership and HR functions in driving innovative transformation toward sustainable industrial practices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of public policy on the circular economy, both directly and through the mediating role of green technology adoption and blue innovation. The method employed is Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), using primary data collected through a survey. The findings indicate that public policy has a positive and significant impact on the circular economy, both directly and indirectly through the application of green technology and blue innovation. The R-square value of 0.851 and the high T-statistics support these results. Therefore, implementing policies aligned with sustainable innovation is key to achieving a circular-based economic system. This study proves that public policy plays a significant role in encouraging the achievement of a sustainable circular economy system. The results of statistical tests show that public policy not only has a direct effect on the circular economy but also has an indirect effect through the mediating role of the application of green technology and blue innovation. The application of green technology and blue innovation has been shown to provide a significant contribution in strengthening the impact of public policy on the circular economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Marketing on Public Awareness and the development of Blue Economy Products. A quantitative approach was applied using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) for data analysis. The results indicate that Digital Marketing has a significant direct effect on public awareness (T = 22.284; P = 0.000) and on Blue Economy products (T = 9.004; P = 0.000). However, public awareness does not directly affect Blue Economy products significantly (T = 0.105; P = 0.917). Nevertheless, there is a significant indirect effect of Digital Marketing on Blue Economy products through public awareness (T = 3.098; P = 0.002). These findings highlight the importance of integrated and educational digital marketing strategies in enhancing community engagement and advancing the development of the blue economy sector.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of compensation on employee performance with work discipline as an intervening variable for cleaning officers at the Serdang Bedagai Regent's Office. The analytical method used is simple linear regression analysis to test the causal relationship between the causal factors and the effect variables. The results of this study obtained that tcount (4.891) > ttable (1.701), as well as the significance value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that the first hypothesis is accepted, meaning that compensation(X) has a positive and significant effectto Work Discipline (Z). it is known that tcount (2.502) > ttable (1.701), and the significance value is 0.01 <0.05, it can be concluded that the second hypothesis is accepted, meaning that compensation (X) has a positive and significant effecton Employee Performance (Y). it is known that tcount (2.473) > ttable (1.701), and the significance value is 0.03 <0.05, it can be concluded that the third hypothesis is accepted, meaning Work Discipline (Z)take effectpositive and significanton Employee Performance (Y). Path analysis shows that the direct effect of variable X on variable Y2 is 0.421. Meanwhile, the indirect effect through variable Z is 0.679 x 0.416 = 0.2824. From the calculation results obtained, it shows that the direct effect through the X variable is greater than the indirect effect on the Y variable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of green policies and environmentally friendly supply chain management on the competitive advantage of manufacturing companies in North Sumatra through the adaptation of green technology as an intervening variable. The method used in this study is quantitative with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach using Smart PLS software. The data used in this study were obtained through a survey involving manufacturing companies in North Sumatra. The results of the study indicate that green policies and environmentally friendly supply chains have a significant effect on the adaptation of green technology, which in turn has a positive impact on the company's competitive advantage. This study also found that the adaptation of green technology acts as a mediator that strengthens the relationship between green policies, environmentally friendly supply chains, and competitive advantage. These findings indicate that manufacturing companies that implement green policies and manage their supply chains with an environmentally friendly approach can strengthen their competitive position through more efficient and environmentally friendly technological innovations. The implication of this study is the importance of green policies that support the adoption of green technology and environmentally friendly supply chain management in increasing the company's competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market.
