Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan bisnis produk makanan ringan "morling" (cimol kering) yang diproduksi oleh UMKM Morling Indah Jaya di Desa Taraban, Kabupaten Brebes. Analisis dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka terhadap aspek-aspek utama dalam studi kelayakan bisnis, yaitu potensi pasar, proses produksi, strategi pemasaran, aspek teknologi, manajemen, sumber daya manusia, serta lingkungan usaha. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa produk morling memiliki prospek yang menjanjikan karena diminati oleh segmen pasar lokal seperti pelajar, remaja, dan ibu rumah tangga. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat kendala seperti promosi yang belum optimal, penggunaan teknologi produksi yang sederhana, dan manajemen usaha yang masih informal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pengembangan yang meliputi pelatihan SDM, modernisasi alat produksi, peningkatan kualitas kemasan, serta pemanfaatan media digital sebagai sarana pemasaran. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dan acuan bagi pelaku UMKM untuk mengembangkan usaha secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan bisnis UMKM Ieumahfood yang bergerak di sektor kuliner dengan fokus pada aspek pasar, pemasaran, serta manajemen dan sumber daya manusia sebagai dasar pertimbangan pembukaan cabang baru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan pemilik usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ieumahfood memiliki potensi besar untuk berkembang melalui inovasi produk seperti lebih dari 16 varian cireng isi, strategi harga yang kompetitif, promosi digital aktif melalui media sosial dan influencer, serta penempatan outlet di lokasi strategis yang dekat dengan pusat aktivitas masyarakat. Selain itu, Ieumahfood memiliki struktur organisasi sederhana namun efektif, sistem kerja yang terjadwal dan terintegrasi, serta pembagian tugas yang jelas pada lebih dari 50 tenaga kerja, yang menunjukkan kesiapan manajerial dalam mendukung ekspansi usaha. Penerapan segmentasi pasar secara geografis, demografis, psikografis, dan perilaku juga memperkuat daya saing usaha di tengah pasar monopolistik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ieumahfood merupakan usaha yang layak untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut melalui pembukaan cabang baru dalam rangka menjawab permintaan pasar dan memperkuat posisi merek di tengah persaingan kuliner yang semakin kompetitif.

Abstract

Wana Wisata Sirah Pemali di Kabupaten Brebes memiliki potensi sebagai destinasi wisata alam yang dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perekonomian lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan bisnis dan merumuskan strategi pengembangan Wana Wisata Sirah Pemali melalui enam aspek utama, yaitu hukum, ekonomi dan budaya, pasar dan pemasaran, manajemen, sarana dan prasarana, serta sosial dan lingkungan, dilengkapi dengan analisis SWOT. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Wana Wisata Sirah Pemali layak dikembangkan dengan berbagai kekuatan seperti daya tarik alam yang unik dan dukungan masyarakat lokal, meskipun masih terdapat beberapa kelemahan dalam infrastruktur, sumber daya manusia, promosi, serta pendanaan yang perlu diperbaiki guna mendukung pengelolaan yang lebih profesional dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the Seblak Netizen Prasmanan Mba Vina business which offers the concept of seblak food in the form of a buffet reviewed from two main aspects, namely market and marketing aspects and technical and production aspects. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through direct observation and interviews with business activities. The results of the study indicate that Seblak Netizen Prasmanan Mba Vina has promising potential through product excellence with a buffet system, varied products, affordable prices, promotions through social media, and a strategic business location. In addition, with a strategic location, effective and efficient business layout, smart production equipment, and production processes, as well as smart production capacity, support the possibility of increasing the production capacity of the Seblak Netizen Prasmanan Mba Vina business. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the Seblak Netizen Prasmanan Mba Vina business is considered feasible to be run and developed because it has met the feasibility indicators both in terms of market and technical production.

Abstract

This community service program, conducted in Sindangwangi Village, Brebes Regency, aims to optimize the use of unproductive village land to improve local welfare. A team from the University of Civilization initiated an empowerment project through the introduction of balsa tree (Ochroma pyramidale) cultivation as an alternative source of economic value. The program was implemented in several stages, including problem identification, land mapping, provision of agricultural equipment, training, and technical mentoring for the community. The villagers received practical guidance on nursery preparation, planting techniques, and tree maintenance. As a result, six hectares of idle land that had been overgrown with weeds were successfully cleared, and 1,000 balsa seedlings were planted as demonstration plots. In addition to improving land productivity, this activity significantly enhanced community knowledge and skills in sustainable forestry management. The harvested balsa is expected to generate approximately IDR 100 million in village income within five years. This success demonstrates that collaboration between higher education institutions and local governments can effectively transform non-productive assets into profitable and environmentally friendly economic resources, supporting sustainable rural development and the achievement of the SDGs at the village level.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the top 3 potential regional superior products in Brebes Regency, in addition to salted eggs and shallots. Sirampog sub-district is the most dominant sub-district that produces Arabica type coffee because Sirampog sub-district is at an altitude above 1000 meters above sea level. The lack of post-harvest technology and conventional coffee processing are the main obstacles for partners in maintaining quality and increasing quantity. This has become a problem for partners in meeting the increasing market demand. The process of drying the initial drying of coffee which is done traditionally requires a lot of energy, is impractical, has the potential to reduce the flavor of coffee due to odor absorption and is difficult to do in the rainy season. Based on these conditions, the village empowerment team (PDB) of Universitas Peradaban and Unsoed funded by DRTPM in the first year (2024) conducted community service through various trainings, workshops and appropriate technology grants. In the implementation of appropriate technology, green house technology measuring 7 m x 10 m2 has been granted with a drying capacity of 2 tons. The drying results are efficient because farmers no longer need to lift and dry the coffee in the afternoon or when it rains. Farmers only need to turn it over so that the dryness is evenly distributed. The greenhouse system also dries faster because the heat is stored and trapped, and the capacity increases 3 times because the drying is arranged in 3 layers.

Abstract

Wanatirta Village, located in Paguyangan District, Brebes Regency, has significant potential for robusta coffee cultivation. However, productivity has declined due to improper farming techniques and limited supporting equipment. Traditional harvesting methods have resulted in inconsistent bean quality and low selling prices. This Community Service Program aims to enhance farmers’ capacity through training in modern cultivation techniques, coffee tree rejuvenation using cutting methods, and the introduction of post-harvest technologies such as drying, hulling, and sorting. The activities include problem identification, training implementation, mentoring, and evaluation, with active participation from farmer groups. The results show improved farmers’ knowledge and skills, the adoption of robusta coffee quality standards, and better management within farmer groups
