Abstract

Human resource management in Indonesian industries plays a critical role in enhancing employee com-petencies amid technological, economic, and global labor market developments. However, there is a gap between employee competencies and organizational demands, reflected in Indonesia's 87th ranking in the Human Capital Index (HCI). This study aims to analyze the influence of talent and technology systems on employee competency, with personality as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), data were collected from 196 respond-ents out of a population of 385 employees at Putra Kelana Makmur Group. The results indicate that talent does not directly influence employee competency but has an indirect effect through personality. In contrast, technology systems and personality significantly impact competency enhancement. Personality is a significant mediator in the relationships between both talent and technology systems with com-petency. These findings highlight the importance of developing effective technology systems and a supportive work environment that fosters personality development. For companies, this study empha-sizes the need to consider personality and technology as key factors in creating a more holistic and adapt-ive human resource management strategy to improve employee competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of mosaic activities on the fine motor development of children at AL-HIKMAH Kindergarten. Fine motor skills involve the coordination of small muscles, particularly in the hands and fingers, which are essential for daily activities such as writing, drawing, and handling objects. This research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach. Data were collected using activity sheets completed by the children during the mosaic sessions. The data were analyzed using a t-test, which showed a significant difference after the mosaic activities were implemented. Children who participated in the mosaic activities demonstrated greater improvement in fine motor skills compared to those who did not. These results indicate that mosaic activities have a positive impact on the fine motor development of kindergarten-aged children. The findings are expected to serve as a useful reference for teachers and early childhood education practitioners in designing learning activities that support children's motor skill development

Abstract

Hyzine flipbook-based digital teaching materials in IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) learning at primary school level can help students in learning activities. This study aims to explore the impact of using these digital teaching materials on students' critical thinking skills. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative method based on the philosophy of postpositivism used to research on natural object conditions (where the researcher is the key instrument). Data collection techniques are triangulated (combined), data analysis is inductive / qualitative, and the results of this study emphasize meaning rather than generalisation. The data sources in this study came from interviews and questionnaires with several fifth grade students and class teachers, direct observation or observation in the classroom, as well as documentation such as photos, and digital teaching materials in the form of hyzine flipbook. Then the data and questionnaires obtained were analysed with interactive analysis techniques that have been announced by Miles and Huberman. pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of two groups, namely the experimental group using flipbook-based digital teaching materials and the control group using conventional teaching materials. Data collection was done through tests and observations. Then the data and questionnaires obtained were analysed using the interactive analysis technique described by Miles and Huberman. The findings show that flipbook-based digital teaching materials can be an effective alternative in improving IPAS learning at the primary school level. The implication of this study is the importance of technology integration in the development of teaching materials to improve the quality of learning in the digital era.
