Abstract

The Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) is a mandatory activity and a form of student service to the community, conducted as part of the educational process in higher education. The KKN Group 7 from the State Christian Institute of Palangka Raya was carried out in Gagutur Village, Gunung Bintang Awai Subdistrict, for approximately 40 days. During the implementation of the KKN, the group encountered various issues, including problems related to clean water, the provision of waste bins, and the security post (Pos Kamling) facility. However, the group's main focus was on the Pos Kamling facility, which became the priority in their work program. The Pos Kamling facility is a crucial element for maintaining the security of Gagutur Village, which consists of two neighborhood units (RT) with a significant population. The rehabilitation of the Pos Kamling is expected to meet the community's expectations in safeguarding the village environment. To ensure the smooth execution and success of the KKN activities, systematic and structured data management related to all aspects of the activities was essential. The outcomes of this work program are anticipated to provide a positive contribution not only in the short term but also for the sustainability of security and order in Gagutur Village.

Abstract

Worship of Jesus is the core of the Christian faith, distinguishing it from other religions, based on the belief in the Bible of His divinity as the incarnate Word of God. He has two natures (dual nature), namely as true God and true man. He came to the world to save humanity from the death penalty due to sin. However, there are still many issues of understanding and theological interpretation related to the dual nature of Christ, such as the rejection from Jehovah's Witnesses, Gnostics, and Islamic polemics. This rejection of the dual nature often leads to the rejection of worshiping Jesus. Through a literature review with a theological ethics approach, this research analyzes biblical verses, particularly the Gospels and the letters of Paul, as well as scientific literature, to find the theological-ethical reasons why Jesus Christ is worshiped. The study results show that Jesus Christ is worthy of worship because He is the Lord and Savior of humanity, He receives worship from humans, and He is worshipped by angels. The theological implication is the affirmation of the doctrine of salvation and the Trinity as the basis for worshiping Christ, while the ethical implication is that His people are required to have a holy life, serve, and have eschatological hope.
