Abstract

As a form of public transportation, the operation of ferry services often attracts public attention. One of them is the public's complaint about the operation of the Mintin crossing line where the service system takes a long time, causing passengers to queue at the port or wait a long time on the crossing ferry. This study aims to analyze the satisfaction of users of the Mintin ferry crossing in Pulang Pisau Regency. The method used is Importance Perfomance Analysis (IPA) In the reliability variable, the performance dimension of the respondent answered 58.46% quite satisfied and in the importance dimension 84.40% stated very important. The assurance dimension, the performance respondent answered 64.25% satisfied and the importance dimension 91.10% stated that it was very important. The empathy dimension, the performance dimension, the respondents answered 68.70% satisfied and at the importance dimension 89.60% stated that it was very important. The dimension of responsiveness, at 58.60% performance is quite satisfied and at 87.00% importance states very important. In the tangible variable, the respondent's performance dimension answered 56.60% quite satisfied and at 83.84% importance stated very important.

Abstract

Population growth is usually accompanied by an increase in the activities of all communities in an area. Community activities require facilities and infrastructure to support the activities carried out. Transportation is an important activity for the community. Therefore, the existence of a private car is a necessity. Congestion often occurs during peak hours and some of the main roads in Palangka Raya City, such as Tingang Road, experience a significant increase in car traffic. Tingang Road is an important road for the local community because it is an access to residential areas, schools, sub-districts and an alternative road out of the city via Mahir Mahar Road or the outer ring road. The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate road performance. This research uses a direct survey method carried out to the field in order to obtain precise information about a condition. After primary and secondary data collection is collected, analysis is carried out using PKJI 2014. Thus, based on the results of the analysis, the performance of the road can be known. The traffic volume is 546.85 skr / hour which occurs during the day, 11:45 to 12:45 WIB. The current capacity is 1667.98 skr/hr. Meanwhile, the degree of saturation is calculated at 0.327, which indicates level of service B, which indicates a good level of road service.

Abstract

Absolute density is one way of planning mixes by prioritizing the highest (maximum) density; traffic compaction after several years of the design life of the layer will not change its plastic shape. This study aims to determine how much influence absolute density has on the strength of the asphalt mixture in the surface layer (HRS-WC). Based on research on Marshall characteristic parameters with Absolute Density Approach on 2x400 collisions, Composition I produces Optimum Asphalt Content (KAO) of 6.54% with a Stability of 1250 kg, Flow of 3.54 mm, Cavity in the Mixture (VIM) of 3, 4%, voids filled with asphalt (VFB) of 80.2%, voids between aggregates (VMA) of 18.1%, Marshall Quotient (Marshall Quotient) of 260 kg/mm, ABSTRAK Kepadatan mutlak adalah salah satu cara perencanaan campuran dengan mengutamakan kepadatan tertinggi (maksimum), pemadatan lalu lintas setelah beberapa tahun umur rencana lapisan tidak akan mengalami perubahan bentuk plastis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kepadatan mutlak terhadap kekuatan campuran aspal pada lapisan permukaan (HRS-WC). Berdasarkan penelitian terhadap parameter karakteristik Marshall dengan Pendekatan Kepadatan Mutlak pada tumbukan 2x400, Komposisi I menghasilkan Kadar Aspal Optimum (KAO) sebesar 6,54% dengan Stabilitas sebesar 1250 kg, Flow sebesar 3,54 mm, Rongga dalam Campuran (VIM) sebesar 3,4 %, rongga terisi aspal (VFB) sebesar 80,2%, rongga antar agregat (VMA) sebesar 18,1%, Hasil bagi Marshall (Marshall Quotient) sebesar 260 kg/mm.

Abstract

Abstrak-Kota Jalur trotoar harus memberikan kenyamanan  dan keamanan bagi para pejalan kaki. Jalur trotoar yang nyaman merupakan bentuk pelayanan untuk pejalan kaki sehingga kenyamanan pada jalur trotoar menjadi tujuan utama. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kenyamanan jalur trotoar yaitu penempatan trotoar, dimensi trotoar, lapisan permukaan, penerangan, drainase, rambu-rambu, jalur taman, kebersihan, ruang bebas fasilitas, tinggi kerb, dan permukaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan persepsi persentase kenyamanan dari para pengguna jalur trotoar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Jalan Ahmad Yani dan Jalan Diponegoro Di Kota Palangka Raya. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan cara observasi di lapangan dan data diperoleh dari hasil pengukuran, dokumentasi, dan pembagian kuesioner. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif untuk menggambarkan keadaan dari jalur trotoar berdasarkan faktor-faktor kenyamanan jalur trotoar dan perhitungan skala Likert untuk mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan pengguna jalur trotoar.          Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan responden sebanyak 200 pejalan kaki, dari beberapa faktor yang dikemukakan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai persentase sebesar 77.50 % dengan kategori Puas. Diharapkan dengan besarnya persepsi kenyamanan pengguna jalur trotoar, hal ini bisa dipertahankan untuk ditingkatkan.Kata Kunci : Kenyamanan, Pejalan Kaki,Trotoar,Kota Palangka Raya Abstract- The sidewalk path must provide comfort and safety for pedestrians. A comfortable sidewalk is a form of service for pedestrians so that comfort and satisfaction on the sidewalk is the main goal. Factors that influence the comfort of sidewalks are sidewalk placement, sidewalk dimensions, surface layer, lighting, drainage, signs, garden paths, cleanliness, free space for facilities, road edge height, and surface. This research was conducted to obtain the percentage of satisfaction from sidewalk lane users. This research was carried out on Ahmad Yani Street and Diponegoro Street In Palangka Raya City. The research was carried out by observing in the field and data obtained from measurements, documentation and distribution of questionnaires. The research method used is descriptive analysis to describe the condition of the sidewalk lane based on sidewalk comfort factors and Likert scale calculations to determine the level of satisfaction of sidewalk lane users. Based on the results of research conducted with 200 pedestrian respondents, several factors put forward in this research show a percentage value of 77.50% in the Satisfied category. It is hoped that with the large perception of satisfaction of sidewalk lane users, this can be maintained and improved.Keywords: Comfort, Pedestrians,Sidewalk,Palangka Raya City

Abstract

At the intersection of Jalan Antang - Jalan Rajawali, Palangka Raya City, it is an unsignalized intersection with four arms. At the location of Jalan Antang - Jalan Rajawali, Palangka Raya city, it is an area or area that is quite frequently passed by office workers, especially students and various groups of society. In this intersection area there are quite a lot of shops and it is also close to the Palangka Raya 3 Public Middle School, this condition is one of the factors that might cause delays and queues when passing through this intersection. The aim of this research is to analyze the performance of unsignalized intersections, as well as providing solutions or handling suggestions to improve the performance of the unsignalized intersections on Jalan Antang - Jalan Rajawali. Data collection was carried out over 4 days, namely Tuesday 4 June 2024, Wednesday 5 June 2024, Thursday 6 June 2024, and Monday 10 June 2024. The data collected was intersection geometry data and traffic volume data. The data analysis method uses the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines. The research results show that the highest peak hour traffic volume at the Jalan Antang - Jalan Rajawali intersection occurred on Tuesday, June 4 2024, in the morning period at 06.30-07.30 WIT with a traffic volume of 2874.6 pcu/hour. Where the capacity value (C) of the intersection is 3332 pcu/hour, the degree of saturation (DJ) is 0.862, the intersection delay is 14.748 seconds/pcu, and the queuing opportunity (Pa) is 29.845 – 58.956%. The intersection delay (T) of 14,748 is in the range of 5.1 – 15 so it is included in the service level category B. Based on the calculation results of solutions or handling proposals, namely the widening of major and minor roads has a degree of saturation with a value of 0.837, this has met the limit value set by The 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines are the DJ value not exceeding 0.85 and the intersection service level index is category B.

Abstract

The economy of a region or country is highly dependent on transportation, which also serves a number of different human needs, including those related to the economy, education, health, and other fields. Using the 2002 Directorate General of Land Transportation technique, this study attempts to determine the Motor Vehicle Operating Cost on the Palangka Raya City - Muara Teweh route. Interview surveys are used as a research technique to collect information on the Vehicle Operating Cost from motor vehicle transportation service providers, especially CV. Putra Borneo Travel, which offers the Palangka Raya City - Muara Teweh route. In accordance with the established tariff law, the motor vehicle operating cost on the Palangka Raya City - Muara Teweh route is analyzed to determine the financial feasibility of the base rate for service providers. According to the analysis findings, the motor vehicle operating cost on the Palangka Raya City - Muara Teweh route owned by CV. Putra Borneo Travel is IDR 2,574.10 per vehicle-kilometer. For service providers such as CV. Putra Borneo Travel, the basic passenger fare is IDR 188,382/pnp, which is financially feasible. This CV, which offers travel transportation services, charges IDR 250,000 per person

Abstract

Road pavement is one part of road construction. Teluk Bua Road is a very important transportation route for the growth path of various aspects in Katingan Regency. Based on observations made, the Teluk Bua road section is often damaged. Types of road damage that occur include rutting, settlement, and upheaval or swell are characterized by bumpy road surfaces with damage levels from mild to severe. This study aims as a literature study to analyze the performance of the composition of the resulting mixture and analyze the value of free compressive strength of the resulting mixture, as well as to determine the stages of implementation in the field. One of the innovations in cost savings, the Cement Treated Recycling Base (CTRB) method is used in road foundation layer work. In the plan, there are variations in cement content of 7% to be reviewed, namely: The results of the study on the free compressive strength of CTRB cylinders with cement variation materials can be known from the mixture of Existing Material Ex. Teluk Bua (RAP) 65% + Additional Material Foundation Layer Class A Ex.Hampangen 35% + 7% cement added material which is 31.21 kg/ cm2. From this graph, the value of Dry Content Weight (MDD) used is 2.159 gr/m3, Optimum Water Content (OMC) is 6.44%. From the calculation results, the CBR Value of Plan = 86.33%.

Abstract

Bukit Kaminting is a road known for its heavy traffic because it is located in a residential area, shops, and the education area of Palangka Raya University. Not only motorcycles and cars, but trucks with loads also often pass on the road. This road condition also often occurs congestion and even traffic accidents. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of traffic, analyze the quality and capacity of road services in Bukit Kaminting from the intersection segment of Jl. Tingang to the intersection of Jl. Bukit Pararawen. Quantitative approach and PKJI 2023 data analysis are the research methods used. The results of this study show that the volume of peak traffic on Jl. Bukit Kaminting (intersection of Jl. Tingang to intersection of Jl. Bukit Pararawen) with alternative roads, occurred on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 16.30 to 17.30 WIB, with an amount of 1638 smp / hour. The capacity of the road section on Jl. Bukit Kaminting from the intersection segment of Jl. Tingang to the intersection of Jl. Bukit Pararawen is 2214.324 smp / hour. The degree of saturation (DJ) value on Jl. Bukit Kaminting (intersection Jl. Tingang to intersection Jl. Bukit Pararawen) with alternative roads, which is 0.74 with LoS category D. The existence of alternative roads can reduce the degree of saturation by 20% from 0.92 to 0.74.

Abstract

The existence of road infrastructure is very important to facilitate the functioning of the transportation system, economic activities, and public movement effectively. One of the major problems in the field of infrastructure is road damage. Damage to the road surface due to vehicle loads and environmental conditions requires appropriate maintenance strategies to maintain its operational capabilities. The Simpang Kurun – Sei Hanyo – Petak Bahandang road in Gunung Mas Regency is one of the main routes that experiences damage with various degrees of severity, thus requiring a proper handling analysis. This study aims to analyze the types of road damage, evaluate the surface condition of the road, and identify suitable maintenance methods, including cost estimates for repairs. The research methods used include the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and the Bina Marga approach. Traffic volume data were recorded during visual surveys. The average pavement condition index (PCI) is 57.5 (considered fair), with an average daily traffic volume (ADT) of 1,006 vehicles per day (classified as traffic class 4), and a condition value of 1.4 according to the Bina Marga method with a priority index of 11.6 indicating the need for routine maintenance. The total maintenance cost is estimated to reach Rp78,689,226.47. Based on these results, the recommended strategy includes routine maintenance for minor damages, patching and overlay for moderate damages, and reconstruction of the pavement on segments with severe damage. In conclusion, the road conditions in the study area require serious attention with a combination of short-term and long-term measures to improve the quality of road service and support the mobility of the people in Gunung Mas District.

Abstract

Accidents often occur due to several factors, including factors such as drivers who are not alert in dealing with obstacles while driving, road geometry factors that do not meet standards, and vehicle factors such as being unfit for use and lacking maintenance. Based on these factors, the problem formulation focuses on the level of traffic safety at the Jl. Bukit Indah - Jl. Garuda - Jl. Bukit Kaminting intersection and the speed that occurs during conflicts at that intersection. The Traffic Conflict Technique method is used to analyze the safety level, and observations reveal that the intersection lacks traffic lights or signals. This increases the risk of accidents and reduces the level of road user safety. Looking at the average Time-to-Avoid (TA) required by road users, it is only 0.5 - 1.0 seconds, with a 31% percentage for evasion or avoidance. This poses a threat to road user safety. The vehicle speed during conflicts at the Jl. Bukit Indah - Jl. Garuda - Jl. Bukit Kaminting intersection is between 40 km/h and 50 km/h, with a 29% percentage as the highest speed.
