Abstract

Mass media and social media generally use women as the subject and object of their content. Unfortunately, the exploitation is unbalanced and even impressive, only making women an object to be seen from the feminine side. The aim of this research is to explain the creation of communication in the media, especially social media, from a gender perspective. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library study method. The results shows that gender-sensitive social media communications can be achieved by: 1) strengthening digital literacy for the public, building a networked digital community to strengthen gender empowerment and content through education and social media discussion spaces; 2) educating about women's needs in the fields of politics, social, cultural, and violence using gender-friendly language; 3) presenting gender-neutral social media content or posts by showing individuals as subjects; and 4) engaging men to break the culture of patriarchy through equal communication.

Abstract

Simpul Iman Community is a forum for interfaith theological dialogue between students of Sanata Dharma University, Duta Wacana Christian University, and Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University, Yogyakarta. This organization was born as a form of maintaining tolerance and the teachings of compassion from every religion. The purpose of this research is to find out how the forms of interreligious communication that occur in SIM C. This study uses a qualitative approach with an observational method that observes how members of the SIM C organization engage in dialogue. The results of this study indicate that all activities are carried out with the awareness that all human beings can live together based on tolerance and compassion. The content and method of dialogue are not only about theological debates but also about how implementing the teachings and values of divinity in each religion affects life in society. The way SIM C dialogue members do not offend one another. They dialogue tolerantly and do not touch the sensitive side of each religion. It is hoped that this research can be a reflection to create spaces for dialogue between faiths to create harmony in the nation's life.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower Muslimat women in Sidomulyo Village, Semen District, Kediri Regency, through training in funeral arrangements in accordance with Islamic law. The main issue raised is the low understanding and skills of the community, especially women, in taking care of corpses appropriately and according to religious guidance. The training was designed using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which involves active participation of the community in all stages: problem identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The training materials included procedures for bathing, shrouding, praying and burying the dead, which were delivered theoretically and practically by competent resource persons. The results of the training showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge and skills, as well as encouraging social change in the form of growing collective awareness of the importance of women's independence in the management of corpses in rural environments. This activity is expected to be a sustainable training model that can be replicated in other areas with similar problems. Keywords: Women's Empowerment, Funeral Management, Muslimat, Community Service, Participatory Action Research   Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ibu-ibu Muslimat Desa Sidomulyo, Kecamatan Semen, Kabupaten Kediri, melalui pelatihan pemulasaraan jenazah yang sesuai dengan syariat Islam. Isu utama yang diangkat adalah rendahnya pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat, khususnya perempuan, dalam mengurus jenazah secara tepat dan sesuai tuntunan agama. Pelatihan ini dirancang menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam seluruh tahapan: identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi. Materi pelatihan meliputi tata cara memandikan, mengkafani, menshalatkan, dan menguburkan jenazah, yang disampaikan secara teoritis dan praktis oleh narasumber kompeten. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, serta mendorong perubahan sosial berupa tumbuhnya kesadaran kolektif akan pentingnya kemandirian perempuan dalam pengurusan jenazah di lingkungan pedesaan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model pelatihan berkelanjutan yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain dengan permasalahan serupa. Abstract

Communication plays a role important as a tool to communicate well with the environment in order to establish a harmonious relationship , but it can also become a means of knowing oneself, one of which is in increasing self- awareness for every individual . The purpose of writing this article is to find out the impact of intrapersonal communication on increasing one's self awareness to change perspectives and attitudes for the better according to the perspective of Al-Qur'an Surah Adz Dzariyat verses 20 and 21. Therefore the research library method in this study is used to examine the concept of intrapersonal communication from the perspective of Surah Adz Dzariyat verses 20 and 21 from research books and journals. The results of the discussion of this article are that intrapersonal communication has an impact on each individual to know himself. The significance of the role of intrapersonal communication for individuals towards self-awareness encourages them to do self-introspection and manage the emotions that are being felt so that they can relieve stress and will make individuals focus on life goals . The tendency of awareness to make creative and innovative decisions in dealing with events in life without reducing existing knowledge and directing individuals to positive emotions.

Abstract

Da’wah has a very broad scope, and its activity is not limited to a particular group or area but must be comprehensive. The indigenous tribe has become one of the places that deserves attention because there is still a minimum of religious understanding. So from that the researchers want to know how to proclaim the ustadz Nurhadi on the inner tribe of Halmahera (suku Togutil). The method of research used is a qualitative descriptive method with field research. The results of this research is that ustad nurhadi is able to devote to the inner tribe of Halmahera not only to provide spiritual planning (religion), but also to empower the economy and improve the well-being of the Togutil tribe that is still lagging behind with modern society, also said that ustadz Nurhadi succeeded because it was able to invite the Pedalam Halmahera tribe (Togutil) to embrace the Muslim religion of 83 people. The success of this proclamation is due to the matured planning and coordination of the institutions as well as those organizations. In the future, it is hoped that this research will provide knowledge of how to preach in remote areas so that the preaching can succeed or run smoothly.
