Abstract

The rapid development of the internet encourages people to live more practically and easily. Previously, the internet could only be enjoyed by certain people and its functions were limited. The internet currently greatly supports activities in all areas of life, for example, business and trade. At this time, business entities, both large companies, organizations and individuals have utilized the internet for their business, for example, business and trade in the food sector online. The popular term in the world of business and online trade is e-commerce. The Android application created by the author is a design for an online book sales system that uses e-commerce. This e-commerce book sales application is designed to make it easier for prospective buyers to make purchases and transactions through mobile devices and the internet. In addition, this application can save time and energy for prospective buyers. The process of this application was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which focuses on accelerating development through prototype literacy and direct user feedback. The main features offered by this application include book catalog management, ordering system, registration system, book upload system to be sold which is easily accessed via computer and mobile devices. The RAD method is the method used in designing this application, because RAD allows application development to be carried out more efficiently with user involvement from the early stages, ensuring that their needs can be met appropriately.

Abstract

Era digitalisasi, pengelolaan absensi siswa di SMA masih banyak yang dipulihkan pada sistem manual menggunakan buku hadir. Hal ini menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan seperti kesalahan manusia, kehilangan data, dan ketidakjelasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Absensi Siswa SMA Negeri berbasis QR Code di Android untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi data kehadiran siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan studi kasus. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Waterfall untuk membangun sistem absensi yang terstruktur dan terarah. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Sistem Informasi Absensi Siswa SMA Negeri berbasis QR Code di Android yang terdiri dari 2 modul utama: modul siswa, dan modul guru. Sistem ini memungkinkan siswa untuk melakukan scan QR Code untuk mencatat kehadiran, guru untuk menampilkan kehadiran siswa secara real-time dan menghasilkan laporan absensi. Sistem Informasi Absensi Siswa SMA Negeri berbasis QR Code di Android terbukti dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi data kehadiran siswa. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMA Negeri.

Abstract

This research stems from the problem of manual book lending management in libraries, which often leads to obstacles such as delays in recording, data errors, and difficulties in monitoring collections. The main objective of this research is to design and develop a web-based library information system that can facilitate member data management, borrowing, and returning, as well as providing real-time book availability information. The method used is software development with a structured approach, through the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing with black box testing. The results of the study indicate that the system built is able to meet user needs, as evidenced by the successful testing that carried out all main functions without errors. The implications of this research are increased efficiency in library management and ease for students in borrowing and checking book availability. However, this research still has limitations in advanced features such as integration with the attendance system or automatic fine payments, so that these can be developed in future research.

Abstract

Coffetakeaway merupakan kafe yang berada di Medan yang menyediakan banyak menu makanan dan minuman dan memiliki konsep yang unik untuk menarik perhatian masyarakat setempat. Adapun pengunjung yang datang setiap harinya kurang lebih sekitar 50 orang dan pada hari libur bisa mencapai 90an orang dan para pengunjung harus menunggu sekitar 30-45 menit sampai pesanannya tiba. Sistem yang berjalan saat ini yaitu pelanggan datang langsung ke kafe, lalu memesan makan atau minuman dengan melihat daftar menu yang diberikan oleh waiters dan proses pemesanan yang dilakukan dengan mencatat setiap menu menggunakan alat tulis yang dapat menyebabkan adanya pemesanan yang rangkap (redudansi), mengantri ketika memesan makanan, penyampaian pesanan pelanggan ke bagian dapur dan kasir dapat memakan waktu yang cukup lama serta tidak terbacanya tulisan tangan pelayanan atau pelanggan dalam mencatat pesanan sehingga menyebabkan bagian dapur dan kasir kesulitan untuk membacanya. Penerapan Customer Relationship Management (CRM) pada aplikasi mobile pemesanan menu diharapkan mampu untuk menyediakan pelayanan kepada pelanggan secara real time dan melakukan komunikasi dengan pelanggan untuk mendapatkan lebih banyak informasi.

Abstract

Simalungun District Culture and Tourism Office is a government agency whose activities include paying attention to tourism spots, especially Muslim tourists, namely in terms of finding halal places to eat or culinary in Parapat City. The haversine formula algorithm is one of the algorithms in a geographic information system that is able to calculate the shortest distance from the initial location to the destination location. By implementing the haversine formula algorithm in a geographic information system, it can be used to search for the nearest halal food location in Parapat City from the user's location. This research aims to be able to assist the community in finding the nearest halal food location in Parapat City and it is hoped that the Simalungun Regency Culture and Tourism Office can also provide location data for halal food that is integrated with a mobile-based geographic information system.

Abstract

PT Astra Daihatsu SM. Raja, a branch of PT. Astra International, Tbk operating in SM. Raja Medan, faces issues with the manual process of estimating time and cost for body repair services. This study aims to design and develop an estimation information system by applying the Monte Carlo method for the estimation calculations. The system is Android-based and can be accessed via smart devices. It is designed for employees to calculate estimates by inputting vehicle and repair data, after which the system automatically displays the estimated time and cost for repairs. By utilizing the waterfall development method and programming languages such as Java and PHP, this research successfully developed a system that provides more accurate and efficient repair estimates. The results of this study are expected to improve transparency and efficiency in the vehicle repair process at PT. Astra Daihatsu SM. Raja.
