Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of Sufistic education as an effort to strengthen religious moderation in higher education. Through a literature study, this research analyzes various aspects related to Sufistic education, ranging from its impact on tolerance, radicalism, to its contribution in building a peaceful society. The results show that Sufistic education has significant potential in shaping the character of students who are religious, tolerant and moderate. The core values of Sufism such as compassion, tolerance, and humility are in line with the principles of religious moderation. Nevertheless, the implementation of Sufistic education still faces various challenges, such as the lack of competent human resources and cultural resistance. This study concludes that Sufistic education can be one of the solutions in overcoming the problem of radicalism and intolerance in Indonesia. However, more systematic and integrated efforts are needed to effectively implement Sufistic education in higher education.

Abstract

Indonesian society is a group of people who are pluralistic living side by side with each other, with differences in ethnicity, language, culture and religion. Therefore, this study aims to see the picture of a multicultural society in Indonesia from the emergence of multiculturalism, a multicultural picture of Indonesian society and its understanding of multiculturalism and its relationship with multicultural Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and data collection using the Literature study method. The Reseacrh data library method or Literature study is research that is carried out not in the field but by analyzing the latest articles and books. Based on articles or data sources analyzed by researchers, a picture of a multicultural society was found, with the diversity that existed, the community remained in a condition of mutual respect and understanding of each other. so that there is no discrimination against certain ethnicities, cultures, languages and religions. We must cultivate an attitude of mutual respect and mutual respect within the framework of the nation's ideology. The difference in inevitability that God has revealed to humans, bhineka tunggal ika is a derivative entrusted to us by our ancestors, this is what shapes our understanding of multiculturalism in society and nation, so that the value of religious moderation grows in the midst of society.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari pendidikan nasional adalah membentuk manusia yang memiliki akhlak mulia. Namun, dalam era modern saat ini, hal tersebut menghadapi berbagai tantangan, salah satunya adalah dampak negatif dari media sosial. Dalam konteks ini, pendidikan Islam, khususnya melalui lembaga pesantren, memegang peranan penting dalam pembinaan akhlak dengan menjadikan Nabi Muhammad SAW sebagai teladan utama dalam berperilaku mulia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana keteladanan seorang Kyai dalam menanamkan akhlakul karimah kepada para santri di Pondok Pesantren Al-Quraniyah, Bengkulu Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kyai memiliki peranan yang sangat signifikan melalui empat aspek keteladanan: Qudwah al-Ibadah (menjadi panutan dalam ibadah), Qudwah Zuhud (gaya hidup sederhana), Qudwah Tawadhu’ (sikap rendah hati), dan Qudwah al-Karimah (berakhlak mulia). Keempat aspek ini terlihat nyata dalam perilaku Kyai sehari-hari dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap pembentukan karakter para santri. Keteladanan yang ditunjukkan oleh Kyai tidak hanya bersifat teoritis, tetapi juga diwujudkan secara nyata melalui tindakan dan pembiasaan dalam kehidupan pesantren sehari-hari. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa peran Kyai sebagai teladan sangat penting dalam membentuk santri yang religius, berakhlak baik, dan siap menjadi generasi Islam yang kuat dan tangguh.
