Abstract

In this increasingly advanced digital era, library public relations requires a communication strategy in providing excellent service to attract visitors, because nowadays they are more interested in finding information on the internet than reading books. Therefore, an effective communication strategy is needed from the Musi Banyuasin Regency Library and Archives Office to introduce its services and collections to the public. This research aims to find out the communication strategy of public relations in improving excellent service to library visitors and to find out the public response to the excellent service provided by the Library and Archives Office of Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach, where the data is obtained through observation, interview and documentation methods. The results showed that the Office of Libraries and Archives of Musi Banyuasin Regency has provided excellent service to visitors by applying the five dimensions of excellent service namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and providing various facilities that make visitors feel comfortable. In addition, the Musi Banyuasin Regency Library and Archives Office has received positive and constructive feedback on the excellent service they have provided. So that the response from the public makes the library want to always provide the best services and collections for the public.

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Rekognisi merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian mahasiswa kepada masyarakat yang menekankan pada penerapan ilmu dalam konteks nyata. Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan KKN Rekognisi yang dilaksanakan di Panti Asuhan Al-Fatih Palembang, dengan fokus pada upaya membangun literasi membaca dan kesadaran politik sejak usia dini. Melalui pendekatan edukatif yang adaptif dan komunikatif, mahasiswa mengadakan kegiatan literasi dan pengenalan nilai-nilai dasar politik seperti keadilan, tanggung jawab, serta hak dan kewajiban sebagai warga negara. Kegiatan ini dirancang agar sesuai dengan karakteristik psikologis dan sosial anak-anak panti. Hasil dari observasi dan evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan antusiasme terhadap kegiatan membaca serta munculnya pemahaman awal mengenai partisipasi sosial dan politik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa KKN Rekognisi dapat menjadi wahana efektif dalam menumbuhkan generasi muda yang literat dan sadar akan peran sosialnya dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara

Abstract

Kesadaran politik sejak usia dini merupakan fondasi bagi terbentuknya partisipasi warga negara yang aktif dan bertanggung jawab dalam sistem demokrasi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas edukasi politik bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dalam meningkatkan literasi politik dan kesadaran kewarganegaraan mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis, mengombinasikan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan siswa, serta analisis kurikulum pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa literasi politik siswa SMP masih terbatas, terutama dalam memahami struktur pemerintahan, mekanisme demokrasi, serta hak dan kewajiban sebagai warga negara. Namun, implementasi metode pembelajaran berbasis interaksi meliputi diskusi kritis,menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan ketertarikan siswa terhadap isu-isu politik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual dan partisipatif dalam edukasi politik di tingkat SMP dapat berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam membangun kesadaran politik yang lebih matang di kalangan remaja, sehingga mendukung terbentuknya generasi muda yang lebih reflektif dan partisipatif dalam kehidupan demokratis.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the dynamics of communication in the friendship circle of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang students. In this study, the author uses a qualitative approach method with observation techniques and in-depth interviews with students from several faculties and documentation. The theory used in this study is the communication network theory from Everet M. Rogers to analyze the role of social structure in student friendship circles. The results of the study show that friendship circles are formed due to similarities in activities, interests, and backgrounds. Communication in the circle is dominated by direct and digital communication, with various central roles such as opinion leaders and connectors. Factors such as social hierarchy, digital media, and communication misunderstandings are the main challenges in interactions betweenstudents.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of internal communication at PT. Meteor Sriwijaya Mandiri Palembang in an effort to maintain employee loyalty. Newly established and logistics companies face challenges such as occupational safety risks and potential turnover, so effective internal communication is key in building harmonious relationships and increasing employee commitment. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Common systems theory is used to look at how the reciprocal relationships between parts within an organization play a role in achieving common goals. The theory used in this study is the general systems theory of Ludwig von Bertalanffy, which emphasizes the importance of reciprocal relationships between sub-systems in achieving common goals. The results of the study show that the implementation of internal communication at PT. Meteor Sriwijaya Mandiri Palembang is quite effective, although there are some obstacles in communication that need to be fixed. Also, in an effort for employees to show loyalty through discipline and responsibility, while the company creates a work environment that supports and fulfills employee rights.
