Abstract

Sintete Hamlet, Pemangkat District, Sambas Regency, is a location located in a village that can be said that almost all residents in the village have a fish-based processing production business. One of the processing production businesses in this village is a salted fish processing business. The material in this salted fish processing uses shark, gutter fish and mackerel. However, the processing and packaging process still does not apply GMP and SSOP properly. This is due to the limited knowledge of the community regarding sanitation and GMP in the production process. This study aims to evaluate the application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Santitation Standard Operating Procedure (SSOP) at the stages of the salted fish processing process in Pemangkat District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. This research uses survey methods and direct interviews with sources to obtain primary data. The interviewee is an owner of salted fish UMKM. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the processing of salted fish in Pemangkat District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan has not implemented Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure (SSOP).

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dikelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Palu pada materi luas permukaan dan volume prisma. Jenis penelitian ini adalah peneliti­­an tindakan kelas yang mengacu pada desain Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yaitu perencana­­­an, pelaksana­­­­­an tindak­an, observasi dan refleksi. Jenis data adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dan tes. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerap­an metode penemuan ter­bimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi luas permuka­an dan volume prisma mengikuti langkah-langkah, yaitu (1) menyampaikan tujuan pem­­belajar­­­­­­an dan mem­­­persiap­­­k­an siswa, (2) meng­organisasikan siswa dalam belajar, (3) mem­bimbing penyelidik­­an individual maupun kelompok, (4) mengecek pemahaman dan memberi­kan umpan balik dan (5) mem­berikan kesempatan untuk pelatihan lanjutan dan penerapan. Kata kunci: penemuan terbimbing, hasil belajar, luas permukaan, volume, prisma Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the applying of guide discovery learning method that can improves the student’s learning outcomes of main topic surface area and volume of prism at VIIIF SMP Negeri 7 Palu. The type of this research is a classroom action research that refers to the research design Kemmis and Mc Taggart, that are planning, action, observation and reflection. The The types of data that used are qualitative and quantitative with the tehnique of data collection are observation, interview, field notes and test. This research was conducted into two cycles.The results of the studying showed that through guided discovery can improve student’s learning outcomes of main topic on the material surface area and volume of the beam by following the steps, that are (1) delivering thelearning objectives, (2) organize student’s in learning , (3) guiding individual and group investigation, (4) cheking back the comphrehension and give a feedback (5) giving opportunities for further training and implementation.
