Abstract

Indonesia's rapid digital transformation over the past decade has brought with it a surge in cyber threats, posing significant risks to national security, economic resilience, and public trust. This study investigates the escalation of cyber incidents between 2020 and 2023, analyzing their trends, regulatory responses, and systemic vulnerabilities. Utilizing secondary data from national agencies and international platforms, the research employs both quantitative and qualitative methods to assess incident volumes and policy effectiveness. The results reveal a sharp rise in cyber incidents, from 88 million in 2020 to over 1.65 billion in 2021, driven largely by phishing, ransomware, and malware campaigns. Although regulatory frameworks such as BSSN Regulation No. 8/2020 and Presidential Regulations 82/2022 and 47/2023 represent important steps, enforcement remains weak, and sectoral coordination is limited. Investment in cybersecurity is critically low, averaging only 0.02% of GDP, while SMEs remain particularly vulnerable due to limited resources and awareness. Discussion of these findings highlights systemic barriers such as institutional fragmentation, insufficient technical capacity, and underdeveloped cybersecurity culture. The study emphasizes the importance of inter-agency collaboration, adaptive regulatory frameworks, and increased investment to build national resilience. Comparative insights from global best practices suggest that integrating stakeholder feedback and promoting continuous learning can significantly enhance threat response and governance outcomes. In conclusion, Indonesia's cybersecurity landscape requires urgent strategic realignment. A well-funded, coordinated, and flexible national cybersecurity framework is essential to protect the nation's digital infrastructure and foster sustainable digital development

Abstract

As cloud computing becomes the backbone of modern digital infrastructure, cybersecurity has emerged as a critical concern across public and private sectors. This narrative review investigates the multifaceted threats, defense strategies, and policy implications associated with cybersecurity in the cloud environment. Literature was systematically sourced from Scopus and Google Scholar using keywords such as "cybersecurity", "cloud security", "AI for cybersecurity", and "data privacy", with inclusion criteria focusing on recent, peer-reviewed studies. The review revealed that data security threats—particularly DDoS attacks, ransomware, and data leakage—are on the rise, with over 40% of organizations reporting incidents in the past two years. Privacy protection varies globally, depending on both technological implementations and regulatory frameworks like the GDPR. Strategies such as encryption, AI-based anomaly detection, and Zero Trust architecture are proving vital in threat mitigation. Yet, systemic challenges—such as policy inconsistency, digital skill gaps, and uneven infrastructure—hinder progress, particularly in developing regions. The discussion emphasized that successful implementations often involve coordinated governance, robust public-private partnerships, and inclusive education strategies. This study concludes by calling for targeted policy reform, investment in digital capacity building, and deeper research into scalable cybersecurity models for vulnerable contexts. These findings underscore the urgency of constructing adaptive and inclusive cybersecurity frameworks to support safe and resilient digital transformation.

Abstract

Digital accessibility remains a global concern, affecting 1.3 billion people with disabilities. This study evaluates the impact of two policy changes WCAG 2.2 and the 2024 ADA Final Rule on digital interface compliance. A systematic review was conducted using PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Data were sourced from academic databases and regulatory documents spanning 2015–2024. Studies were selected based on their relevance to WCAG/ADA compliance. Quality appraisal was carried out using the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT), and findings were synthesized narratively across web and mobile contexts. WCAG 2.2 added success criteria to improve usability for users with cognitive, motor, and visual impairments. ADA 2024 requires U.S. public sector platforms to meet WCAG 2.1 AA, while the European Accessibility Act shows uneven implementation among member states. WebAIM’s 2024 audit revealed that 95.9% of websites still fail basic accessibility checks, and mobile platforms show even lower compliance. Common issues include poor contrast, missing alt text, and inadequate touch targets. Automated tools alone are insufficient without assistive technology validation. Over reliance on ARIA, limited developer training, and inconsistent policy enforcement persist as barriers to effective implementation. Regulatory updates represent progress but must be supplemented by education, standardized testing protocols, and user involved design practices. Sustainable accessibility requires a shift from reactive compliance to proactive inclusivity, supported by policy, pedagogy, and participatory design.

Abstract

The Ombilin Basin in West Sumatra is one of the oldest intermontane basins in Indonesia that has significant geological potential, especially in relation to coal content and possible petroleum systems. This study uses a three-dimensional gravity inversion method to model the distribution of subsurface density from a depth of 0 to 6000 meters. The purpose of this study is to examine the subsurface geological modeling in the Ombilin Basin and to be a reference in exploration geophysical studies in other basins in Indonesia that have similar characteristics. Corrected regional gravity data are used as input in the inversion process to reconstruct the relative density model of rocks. The inversion results show a low-density zone (Δg between -0.1995 to -0.0099 gr/cc) in the central and southwest parts of the basin associated with sedimentary deposits such as sandstone, shale, and coal. At depths of more than 4000 meters, a high-density zone is identified that reflects the presence of basement rocks or possible magmatic intrusions. This density distribution strengthens the understanding of the basin geometry and potential hydrocarbon traps. This study shows that the gravity inversion method is an effective and economical approach for subsurface geological interpretation, especially in areas with limited exploration data.

Abstract

Twitter is one type of social media that is still widely used today. However, it happens frequently for Twitter users to post remarks that tend to criticize other Twitter users. Twitter users routinely make nasty remarks regarding body shaming, which has detrimental impacts on the victims such as diminishing self-esteem, leading to depressive illnesses, and, more seriously, raising the chance of suicide. Body shaming is the practice of criticizing someone's physical attributes, such as being slim, overweight, or having a flat nose. This study will use the Naive Bayes Classifier approach to do sentiment analysis based on the actions of body shaming on Twitter. Based on the performance testing results of Accuracy, Precision, and Recall using Machine Learning Rapid Miner with an initial dataset of 1000 body shaming tweets and a test dataset of 329 tweets, the following results were obtained: Accuracy of 80.55%, positive Precision of 100%, negative Precision of 80.43%, positive Recall of 3.03%, and negative Recall of 100%. In the preprocessing stage, tokenization resulted in a word cloud with the top 5 words being "overweight" at 51%, "body shaming" at 20%, "thin" at 11%, "people" at 10%, and "eating" at 8%.
