Abstract

Anime is currently becoming popular among people in various parts of the world including Indonesia, many people like anime and some are even fanatical about anime. Based on this, the researcher conducted a study that aimed to find out how fanatical the three participants were towards anime. .The sample in this study was 3 people using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method was through semi-structured interviews and then interview transcripts were analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). There are two superordinate themes found, namely: self-change and the search for identity. The implication of this research is to find out how anime fanatics or also known as otaku affect the personal identity of the participants, to find out how the participants face challenges in finding their identity amidst social pressures and excessive expectations from the surrounding environme without ignoring the participants’ interest and interest in otaku culture.

Abstract

Mengakses situs pornografi merupakan salah satu bentuk aktivitas cybersex yang paling sering dilakukan. Perilaku cybersex dikaitkan dengan kontrol diri sebab adanya sarana dan dorongan dari luar dan dalam diri seseorang yang hanya dapat diminimalisir apabila seseorang memiliki kontrol diri yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-esperimen dengan metode one group pre-test post-test. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang dipilih dengan metode simple random sampling. Hasil yang didaptkan adalah nilai sig (2-tailed) menunjukkan 0.033 < 0.05 yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Artinya, pelatihan ReTaS-C (Remaja Tangguh Bebas Cybersex) efektif untuk menurunkan perilaku cybersex pada mahasiswa.

Abstract

With a high level of self-efficacy, students can face quarter-life crisis easily. People who have self-efficacy will focus and do their tasks without any problems in difficult situations. Students who have self-efficacy are more confident and able to reach their full potential. In addition, it helps students acquire the skills needed for future success. The purpose of this study was to empirically investigate the relationship between self-efficacy of final year students at Padang State University and quarter-life crisis. This study combines cluster sampling strategy with quantitative approach. A total of 292 final year students at Padang State University became the research sample. With an error rate of 5%, this sample was taken using Isaac and Michael table. The data analysis method used is Pearson Product Moment. The results showed that quarter-life crisis and self-efficacy of final year students at Padang State University were each in the moderate range with a proportion of self-efficacy of 39.7% and quarter-life crisis of 28.4%. The research hypothesis stating that there is a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy and quarter life crisis in final year students at Padang State University is accepted based on the hypothesis test which produces a value of r = -0.469 with a significance level of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05).
