Abstract

Bankruptcy is one of the main threats to business sustainability, especially for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This article explores the importance of financial planning, accurate record-keeping, and cash flow management strategies to mitigate bankruptcy risks, focusing on a case study of Rumah Makan Fajar Jeumpa. The findings reveal that irregular transaction recording, ineffective cash flow management, and the absence of structured financial strategies are key factors contributing to financial vulnerability. By implementing simple financial record-keeping systems, creating budget projections, and diversifying income sources, MSMEs can enhance operational stability and reduce financial risks. These findings emphasize that comprehensive financial planning, supported by adequate financial literacy, is crucial in ensuring business sustainability and fostering MSME growth.

Abstract

Brain tumor disease is one of the deadliest diseases that can attack anyone without exception. This disease is characterized by the development of abnormal cells in human brain tissue is a sign of this disease. A digital image technology called Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) can be used to detect these brain tumors. This technology is meant to help doctors identify and classify different types of brain tumors. An effective and accurate method is needed to perform MRI image classification as manual classification takes a long time and carries a high risk. One effective solution to this problem is Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). CNN is an algorithm that can learn itself from previous cases. The deep learning method, CNN with the VGG16 model, can be implemented as a solution to the problem. The process of making this system with the stages of making Image Detection, namely image acquisition, preprocessing, extraction, classification, and identification of image data. This study uses 3 datasets where each dataset has 1311 images of patient MRI results. The dataset is separated into 3 different data, namely train data, validation data, and test data. The results of testing these three datasets are able to identify the images tested into the system with a percentage accuracy of 99%.

Abstract

Productive zakat is an innovative approach to zakat management that focuses on the economic empowerment of mustahik (zakat recipients) to increase income in a sustainable manner. This research aims to explore the role of productive zakat in the context of economic development in Indonesia, by referring to data from the National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS) and various literature sources. The method used in this research is a literature review study, which involves collecting and analyzing various relevant literature sources. The findings show that productive zakat not only increases mustahik income, but also creates jobs, improves skills, and encourages social solidarity in society. By providing access to capital and training, productive zakat helps mustahik transform into muzakki (zakat givers), creating a positive cycle of sustainability. However, to maximize the potential of productive zakat, government policies are needed that support transparency, increase public awareness, collaboration with the private sector, and effective monitoring and evaluation. This research is expected to provide deeper insight into strategies for optimizing the productive role of zakat in national economic development.

Abstract

This article discusses voter participation in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) in Palu City through the Village Care for Elections and Elections (DP3) program initiated by the General Elections Commission (KPU). The DP3 program aims to increase community awareness and involvement, especially in rural areas that were previously recorded as having low levels of participation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the DP3 program in Palu City was able to encourage increased voter participation through community-based voter education, involvement of community leaders, and a direct, participatory approach. However, the implementation of the program still faces several obstacles, such as limited human resources and logistics, as well as the level of political literacy that is not evenly distributed in society. This article concludes that the DP3 program has contributed positively to building a culture of democracy at the grassroots level and can be a model for sustainable electoral participation if accompanied by capacity building and cross-sector collaboration.
