Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one of the public relations strategies that can be used to create a positive image of the company in the eyes of stakeholders. Companies are expected to implement CSR programs, particularly in the Islamic banking sector. For companies in the field of Islamic banking, the implementation of CSR programs becomes increasingly important as it reflects the company's commitment to applying Islamic economic principles based on Islamic values. This research aims to gather and analyze articles related to the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in enhancing the positive image of Islamic banks in society. The research method used is a literature review. The databases Google Scholar and Neliti.com were searched from 2016 to 2023 using keywords such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Company Image / Brand Image. By employing the Literature Review method, the results obtained by the author show that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) plays a crucial role in improving the image of Islamic banking institutions in Indonesia. The implementation of CSR has a positive and significant impact on the public's perception of Islamic banking institutions and represents a long-term investment that ensures sustainable existence for Islamic banks in Indonesia in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan  (1) untuk mengetahui literasi keuangan syariah terhadap minat masyarakat mabar hilir pasar III, (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik perbankan syariah terhadap minat masyarakat mabar hilir pasar III, dan (3) untuk menganalisis secara stimulan pengaruh literasi keuangan syariah dan karakteristik perbankan syariah terhadap minat masyarakat mabar hilir pasar III. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di JL. Mangaan Mabar Hilir Pasar III Lingkungan XII, Kelurahan Mabar Hilir, Kecamatan Medan Deli, Kota Medan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dengan alat analisis SPSS. Berdasarkan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden sebanyak 290 menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan syariah memilki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat masyarakat menggunakan produk bank syariah sebesar 35,1%. Kemudian karakteristik perbankan syariah juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat masyarakat menggunakan produk bank syariah sebesar 15,1%. Sedangkan secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan syariah dan karakteristik produk bank syariah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat masyarakat menggunakan produk bank syariah sebesar 29,8% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 70,2% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam variabel penelitian.   This study aims to (1) determine Islamic financial literacy on the interest of the Mabar Hilir Pasar III community, (2) to determine the influence of Islamic banking characteristics on the interest of the Mabar Hilir Pasar III community, and (3) to analyze the stimulus of the influence of Islamic financial literacy and Islamic banking characteristics on the interest of the Mabar Hilir Pasar III community. The location of the study was carried out at JL. Mangaan Mabar Hilir Pasar III Lingkungan XII, Mabar Hilir Village, Medan Deli District, Medan City, North Sumatra Province. The method used in this study is quantitative, with SPSS analysis tools. Based on the questionnaire distributed to 290 respondents, it shows that Islamic financial literacy has a positive and significant influence on people's interest in using Islamic banking products by 35.1%. Then the characteristics of Islamic banking also have a positive and significant influence on people's interest in using Islamic banking products by 15.1%. While simultaneously showing that Islamic financial literacy and characteristics of Islamic banking products have a positive and significant influence on people's interest in using Islamic banking products by 29.8% while the remaining 70.2% is explained by other variables not included in the research variables.
