<![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in the subject of Pancasila Education at SDN Inpres 2 Talise. This research employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were all 21 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through tests, observation, and documentation. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability, with results indicating that it was valid and reliable (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.880). Data analysis was conducted using normality testing and hypothesis testing through a paired sample t-test. The results of the normality test showed that the data were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.641 for the pretest and 0.064 for the posttest (> 0.05). The hypothesis test results indicated a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with a significance value < 0.05. The findings reveal that the implementation of the TGT cooperative learning model has a significant effect on improving students’ critical thinking skills. This model creates an active, collaborative, and enjoyable learning environment, encouraging students to think analytically and participate actively in the learning process. Therefore, the TGT model is effective as an alternative instructional strategy to enhance students’ critical thinking skills in elementary schools. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di SDN Inpres 2 Talise. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 21 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya dengan hasil menunjukkan bahwa instrumen valid dan reliabel (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0,880). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis paired sample t-test. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi pretest 0,641 dan posttest 0,064 (>0,05). Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Model ini mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang aktif, kolaboratif, dan menyenangkan, sehingga mendorong siswa untuk berpikir analitis dan berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, model TGT efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di sekolah dasar.
