Abstract

Rumah Tempe Indonesia (RTI) need a marketing strategy to improve their business continuity. This study analyzes the Sustainable Competitive Advantage formulated with the VRIO model in business model development to formulate a marketing strategy. The data collected by using the in-depth interviews, observations, and several external sources. The results of the analysis indicated that the RTI has a competitive advantage in two aspects, in terms of its human resources and the company ability to survive. The result of competitive ability in this research show there are two marketing strategies that can be implemented by the MSMEs, the use of its social media and collaboration with the promotional services from community leaders and local celebrities to increase the brand awareness of Rumah Tempe Indonesia branch Bandung and also for its products.

Abstract

Remaja dalam fase perkembangannya rentan mengalami masalah psikososial. Masalah kesehatan jiwa yang mereka hadapi seperti munculnya rasa tidak percaya diri, kecemasan sosial, dan sifat insecure. Hal ini juga terjadi pada remaja yang ada di lingkungan pesantren atau sekolah berbasis agama. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terkait kesehatan mental, mengatasi rasa insecure, serta meningkatkan keterampilan koping melalui pendekatan edukasi berbasis diskusi dan komunikasi asertif. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendidikan kesehatan dalam program Edukasi Asik Redakan Sifat Insecure dengan partisipan sebanyak 30 orang siswa/i di SMP Plus Ma’Arif NU Pangandaran Kabupaten Pangandaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dibagi menjadi kedalam tiga tahap kegiatan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi (pre-posttest) dan rencana tindak lanjut. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebanyak 16% pada rerata nilai di berbagai aspek seperti definisi, tanda dan gejala, dampak dan cara mengatasi insecure. Kesimpulannya kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif bagi remaja yan ada dilingkungan pesantren dilihat dari hasil evaluasi dengan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan. Rekomendasi kegiatan pengabdian selanjutnya yakni pelatihan pengembangan keterampilan sosial emosional atau strategi koping bagi siswa, kampanye akses pelayanan kesehatan jiwa masyarakat, serta pelatihan guru dan orang tua dalam mengidentifikasi masalah kesehatan mental dan penanganan masalah psikososial siswa

Abstract

Bandung Regency, which is experiencing overcapacity in landfills, has implemented a waste management solution involving the separation of organic and inorganic waste. Inorganic waste, which is notoriously difficult to decompose, has prompted the Bandung Regency government to adopt a community-focused approach to waste management, establishing waste banks in school-age communities. However, the project has encountered challenges, as evidenced by the fact that some schools have implemented waste banks but have not been actively engaged in their operations. This has led to the project's suboptimal implementation in Bandung Regency schools.The objective of this study is to identify the challenges associated with the inactivity of waste banks in Bandung Regency schools, as perceived by students and administrators.The study utilises the triple drivers of ecopreneurship, focusing on the economic, social, and environmental benefits of school waste banks. This research employs a mixed methods approach, utilising both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. The quantitative approach involves the administration of surveys to students, followed by data processing using descriptive statistics. The qualitative method involves conducting interviews with administrators, and the data is processed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings of the research indicate that the implementation of a waste bank for the management of inorganic waste in a school environment is positively received by the school, despite the presence of obstacles related to waste collection sites, socialisation among students, and differences between administrators and students regarding the most significant focus or choice for implementing waste banks in schools.It is anticipated that the research results will contribute to the understanding of inorganic waste management in waste banks that are less active in the school environment. The study thus recommends further research in schools that are routine or active in waste bank implementation activities, with a view to describing overall information about the implementation of school waste banks, especially in schools in Bandung Regency with school waste bank projects.

Abstract

Employee recruitment is an important aspect of human resource management that significantly influences the achievement of company goals. The recruitment process is not only about finding the right person for a particular position, but also a long-term strategy to improve the company's competitiveness. Recruitment is a crucial process because it determines the quality of employees who will contribute directly to organizational success. Therefore, companies must ensure that all stages of recruitment run smoothly, are well-directed, and align with the company's real needs. This study uses a descriptive research method with the aim of describing in detail how the recruitment process is carried out at PT. ABC. The research subjects consisted of two key informants, namely the Director and the Personnel Manager. To obtain valid and in-depth data, this study used data collection techniques in the form of direct interviews and field observations. The collected data were then analyzed using a qualitative analysis approach. Qualitative analysis helps to provide a deeper understanding of recruitment practices and their impact on organizational performance. The results of the study indicate that the recruitment process at PT. ABC begins with a thorough planning stage. The company first determines applicant qualifications, prepares clear job specifications, and aligns human resource needs with the company's targets and objectives. This aims to ensure that the recruited workforce truly matches the required competencies. Furthermore, evaluations are conducted periodically to ensure the effectiveness of the recruitment process. The findings highlight that effective recruitment directly influences the company's ability to achieve its long-term objectives. The conclusion of this study is that the recruitment process has a significant impact on company success. With the right recruitment, companies can create competent, loyal human resources who contribute optimally to achieving the organization's vision and mission.
