Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penambahan server dalam sistem antrian Toko Pupuk Sumber Tani dengan membandingkan model M/M/1 dan M/M/2. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung terhadap waktu kedatangan pelanggan, waktu pelayanan, dan jumlah pelanggan dalam antrian selama periode tertentu. Data dianalisis menggunakan model antrian untuk menghitung parameter kinerja, seperti rata-rata waktu tunggu (Wq), rata-rata jumlah pelanggan dalam antrian (Lq), dan tingkat utilisasi server (ρ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model M/M/2 lebih efektif dalam mengurangi waktu tunggu pelanggan, menurunkan jumlah pelanggan dalam antrian, dan meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan dibandingkan model M/M/1. Dengan demikian, penambahan server (kasir) selama jam sibuk direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan dan optimalisasi operasional toko. Abstract

Laboratories are essential facilities in higher education institutions, particularly in supporting practical learning and research activities. However, manual management often leads to scheduling conflicts, inefficient room utilization, and limited access to real-time information. This study aims to develop a web-based, integrated laboratory room scheduling system for the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Jambi. The research adopts the Design Thinking methodology, which consists of five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Stakeholder needs were identified through interviews with lecturers, students, lab staff, and laboratory heads. The primary issue identified was the lack of a centralized scheduling system. A prototype was designed using Figma, incorporating features such as real-time schedule viewing, room booking management, and usage reporting. Usability testing with five respondents revealed high satisfaction in terms of learnability (84%), memorability (85%), and efficiency (87%). The results confirm that the system meets user needs and improves laboratory management. This study contributes to the digital transformation of academic services by offering a user-centered, context-aware solution tailored to the needs of the Faculty of Science and Technology.

Abstract

In today's digital landscape, a website's performance serves as a key metric of an institution’s online presence and communication strategy. This research focuses on forecasting website performance by analyzing the relationship between the number of published articles and the volume of page views using a simple linear regression approach. Monthly data was obtained from the official website of the Faculty of Science and Technology at Universitas Jambi, comprising content publication frequency and corresponding traffic. The analysis reveals a strong positive correlation, where each additional published article contributes to a notable increase in page views. The regression model yields a coefficient of 103.75 with an R² value of 0.7278, indicating that over 72% of traffic variation is attributable to content volume. These results emphasize the importance of consistent content production in enhancing web visibility and provide valuable insights for content strategy development.

Abstract

Abstract Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector, such as Rumah Makan Sentosa, continuously strive to innovate by offering menu items that appeal to customers. Although the business provides product variations such as Fried Chicken (Ayam Geprek) and Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng), Rumah Makan Sentosa faces challenges in determining the optimal production quantity to maximize profits. This study employs the linear programming graphical method to design an efficient production strategy under limited raw materials in Jambi City. The research methodology includes observation, interviews, and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results indicate that the optimal solution is producing 70 portions of Fried Chicken and 30 portions of Fried Rice, generating a maximum profit of Rp365,000. The largest contribution comes from Fried Chicken at Rp245,000, while Fried Rice contributes Rp120,000. Implementing linear programming at Rumah Makan Sentosa is expected to enhance production efficiency, reduce material waste, and support MSMEs in designing effective production strategies amid increasing competition in the culinary market. Keywords: MSMEs; Culinary Business; Linear Programming; Production Optimization; Profit Maximization Abstrak Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam sektor kuliner, seperti Rumah Makan Sentosa, terus berupaya berinovasi dalam menyajikan menu yang digemari pelanggan. Meskipun menawarkan variasi produk seperti Ayam Geprek dan Nasi Goreng, Rumah Makan Sentosa menghadapi tantangan dalam menentukan jumlah produksi yang tepat agar keuntungan dapat dimaksimalkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan program linier metode grafik untuk merancang strategi produksi yang efisien dengan keterbatasan bahan baku di Kota Jambi. Metode penelitian meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa solusi optimal dicapai dengan memproduksi 70 porsi Ayam Geprek dan 30 porsi Nasi Goreng, dengan keuntungan maksimal sebesar Rp365.000. Kontribusi terbesar berasal dari Ayam Geprek sebesar Rp245.000, sementara Nasi Goreng menyumbang Rp120.000. Penerapan program linier pada Rumah Makan Sentosa diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, mengurangi pemborosan bahan, serta mendukung UMKM kuliner dalam menghadapi persaingan pasar yang semakin ketat. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of raw material distribution costs at Cafe Rooftop Sa Jiwa through the application of the transportation method using the Least Cost Method (LCM) approach. The main issue faced by the café lies in the fluctuating delivery costs from each supplier, which potentially lead to inefficiencies in the procurement process. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method with four main raw material suppliers as the study subjects. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews and field observations, while secondary data were collected from purchasing records and monthly expenditure reports. The research instruments used include structured interview sheets and transportation cost data collection forms. The analysis was conducted using the LCM implemented in the Python programming language to determine the optimal distribution plan with minimum total cost. The results showed that the minimum transportation cost achieved was Rp 185,000, with an allocation that met both supplier capacity and cafe demand. These findings indicate that the application of the transportation method through Python programming effectively supports more efficient and measurable raw material distribution planning. Keywords: Distribution Optimization, Least Cost Method, Python, Rooftop Sajiwa, Transportation Cost   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi biaya distribusi bahan baku pada Cafe Rooftop Sajiwa melalui penerapan metode transportasi dengan pendekatan Least Cost Method (LCM). Permasalahan yang dihadapi cafe adalah tingginya variasi biaya pengiriman dari masing-masing pemasok yang berpotensi menyebabkan pemborosan dalam proses pengadaan bahan baku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian berupa empat pemasok utama bahan baku cafe. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung terhadap proses pengadaan, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari catatan pembelian dan laporan pengeluaran bulanan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi lembar wawancara terstruktur dan lembar pengumpulan data biaya transportasi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan metode LCM yang diimplementasikan dalam bahasa pemrograman Python untuk memperoleh solusi distribusi dengan biaya minimum. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa total biaya transportasi minimum yang diperoleh sebesar Rp 185.000, dengan distribusi bahan baku yang sesuai antara kapasitas pemasok dan kebutuhan cafe. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penerapan metode transportasi berbasis Python terbukti efektif dalam membantu perencanaan distribusi bahan baku yang lebih efisien dan terukur.
