Abstract

In this modern era, everything is required to transform to suit the times. Likewise regarding education, in this era of continuous development, Islamic education is required to always develop to adapt to the times as attempted by Muhammad Abduh. Muhammad Abduh was an initiator of Islamic education reform who came from Egypt. This research is qualitative in nature and the data was obtained using the library research method. The data obtained was then analyzed using descriptive-analysis techniques. The results of this research will explain Muhammad Abduh's ideas regarding the renewal of Islamic education, namely (1) The aim of education is to educate the mind and soul and convey it to the limit of a person's possibility of achieving happiness in this world and the hereafter, (2) Muhammad Abduh aims to harmonize between general knowledge and religious knowledge, (3) Divide education into 3 levels (Primary Education, Secondary Education, Upper Education), (4) Each level has its own curriculum, (5) Divide educational methods into two, namely micro methods which are centered on teaching methods and macro methods which are systems where schools have an organizational structure where each division will influence each other, (6) Education without distinguishing gender.

Abstract

The As one of the favorite social media applications in the modern era, it has a history that has skyrocketed in the use of everyday society. Currently, with the intelligence of society, information technology and changes in religious practices provide deeper insight into how modern society, especially Muslims, adapt to technological developments in carrying out their worship. This study collects data from websites that discuss the digital religious application industry and its impact with a concentration on the Youtube application. The use of Youtube social media in the contemporary era has a significant impact on the spread of Islam, religious understanding, social improvement. Global Reach: YouTube allows da'wah content to be accessed by people around the world without being limited by space and time.

Abstract

Sejarah penyebaran dan perkembangan Islam di kawasan Johor-Riau, wilayah yang memiliki peranan penting dalam pembentukan peradaban Islam Melayu setelah kejatuhan Kesultanan Malaka. Melalui Kesultanan Johor dan Riau-Lingga, Islam berkembang tidak hanya sebagai agama, tetapi juga sebagai fondasi budaya, hukum, dan pendidikan masyarakat Melayu. Johor menjadi penerus politik Islam dari Malaka, sementara Riau berkembang menjadi pusat intelektual dan kesusastraan Islam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan karena merupakan studi pustaka yang mengkaji buku-buku sejarah yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Peran tokoh seperti Syekh Burhanuddin menegaskan pentingnya literasi Islam dalam memperkuat identitas Melayu. Pendidikan Islam melalui madrasah, surau, dan penggunaan bahasa Jawi turut membentuk karakter religius masyarakat. Dengan pendekatan historis dan kultural, makalah ini menunjukkan bahwa Johor-Riau merupakan wilayah kunci dalam menyebarluaskan dan mengakar kuatkan nilai-nilai Islam di Asia Tenggara.
