Abstract

In the business world, risk is an unavoidable aspect due to uncertainties that cannot be predicted, potentially leading to losses for companies, especially micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with limited capital. These risks can disrupt operations, cause financial losses, and even result in bankruptcy. However, through effective risk management strategies, risks can be identified early, allowing for mitigation of their potential impacts. This study aims to identify the risk management processes along with the sources of risk, assess the risks that may arise, and analyze the strategies that MSMEs will implement to address or manage these risks in Semarang. The research is conducted in accordance with the risk management process (ISO 31000:2018), which includes risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation, and risk treatment. The results of the risk analysis identification reveal that MSMEs face various challenges, including economic uncertainty, changes in government policies, and fluctuations in raw material prices. A lack of capital, technology, and skilled human resources further hampers their competitiveness. This study identifies five main risks faced by MSMEs: capital risk, human resource risk, raw material risk, operational risk, and equipment risk. SWOT analysis aids in the identification and evaluation of these risks, highlighting that capital, human resource, and raw material risks require immediate management intervention due to their significant impact on operational sustainability. Risk treatment includes the implementation of effective emergency plans and the acquisition of modern technology. Ultimately, a collaborative approach involving government support and capacity building for MSMEs is recommended to ensure sustainable development and stability in facing these inherent business risks.

Abstract

The rise of the Multi Level Marketing (MLM) business has made Islamic economists and business experts differ in their opinion in determining the laws of the business system. Based on this, this article will discuss the Islamic economic view of the MLM business system at PT K-Link Indonesia Makassar Branch. The method of this research is qualitative. The data of interview, documentation and field observations regarding the MLM business system at PT K-Link Indonesia Makassar Branch were then confronted with sharia economic theory so that syar'i laws could be established regarding the business. It was found that the work system of the Multi Level Marketing (MLM) business of PT K-Link Indonesia Makassar Branch in the view of sharia is in the muamalah category, which in principle is permissible based on the rules of fiqh. However, when there are elements that are prohibited in Islamic literature and found in MLM, this should not be done.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis implementasi strategi manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam upaya meningkatan omzet penjualan CV. Raja Kurma Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan wawancara kepada manajer dan karyawan sebagai sumber pengumpulan data, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data model interaktif yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi manajemen sumber daya manusia yang diterapkan perusahaan adalah utilizer strategy, accumulator strategy, facilitator strategy. Kemudian implementasi strategi yaitu utilizer strategy meliputi perencanaan sumber daya manusia (SDM), rekrutmen dan seleksi, accumulator startegy meliputi pelatihan dan pengembangan, perencanaan karir, facilitator strategy meliputi penilaian prestasi kerja dan kompensasi telah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa strategi manajemen sumber daya manusia yang diterapkan mampu meningkatkan omzet penjualan perusahaan.
