Abstract

This study highlights the importance of selecting appropriate algorithms for text data analysis and provides recommendations for future exploration of other machine learning and deep learning models to improve the accuracy of sentiment analysis. This research compares the accuracy level of the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Naïve Bayes algorithms in sentiment analysis in the 2024 Central Java gubernatorial election using data from the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The data consists of 1,337 posts classified as positive or negative sentiment. Data crawling was done using RapidMiner, and analysis was done via Python in Google Colab. The research results show that the KNN algorithm achieves the highest accuracy of 81%, while Naïve Bayes has a maximum accuracy of 79%. The KNN algorithm is superior in handling text data because of the dependent calculations between attributes, while Naïve Bayes which uses independent calculations has slightly lower performance. This research provides insight into the reaction of public sentiment towards the candidate for governor of Central Java, where the Andhika-Hendi pair received more positive sentiment than Lutfi-Yasin

Abstract

Website merupakan sarana dalam mengumpulkan, menyimpan, dan menyajikan informasi yang relevan kepada masyarakat, seperti informasi produk, layanan, kebijakan, berita, dan lainnya. WordPress menjadi salah satu pilihan untuk membuat Content Management System yang digunakan untuk membangun dan mengelola website. Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Kabupaten Kendal dalam menyajikan informasi olahraga saat ini melalui media sosial berupa Instagram. Hanya saja menurut pengurus KONI Kab. Kendal masih memiliki beberapa kekurangan dengan hanya melalui instagram. Untuk itu dibutuhkan teknologi informasi agar dapat menyajikan informasi tersebut dengan cepat dan efektif kepada masyarakat berupa website berbasis WordPress. Tujuannya melakukan pendampingan mengelola website. Metodenya dengan lima tahapan : Identifikasi masalah, Solusi Permasalahan, Pemenuhan Kebutuhan, Pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan Monitoring dan evaluasi. Manfaatnya ada peningkatan komunikasi dengan menyediakan informasi berkaitan olahraga pada masyarakat.

Abstract

Background: In Indonesia's public Islamic secondary schools, English Language Policy and Planning (ELPP) faces challenges such as resource limitations, a lack of qualified educators, and a non-standardized curriculum. However, despite these challenges, compared to ASEAN peers like the Philippines, Indonesia's approach lacks focus on student-centered learning, underscoring the need for enhanced ELPP strategies. Methodology: Four English language teachers and one headmaster participated as respondents in this research to provide comprehensive data findings. Data were collected through interviews conducted over the course of one month, employing guided questions. Subsequently, descriptive analysis was utilized to analyze the data. Findings: English's mandatory integration in secondary education, especially in Madrasah Tsanawiyah, highlights its crucial academic role. Analyzing educational policies and curricular shifts, from competency-based to the Merdeka curriculum, showcases Indonesia's deliberate push for English proficiency. Interviews stress the Merdeka Curriculum's CEFR alignment, prioritizing student empowerment through learner-centered methods and technology. Despite efforts, challenges remain in public Islamic schools, with teachers advocating for supportive environments due to limited exposure and resources. Conclusion: The complex nature of these challenges necessitates the cooperation of politicians, educators, and administrators to establish an atmosphere that promotes successful English language acquisition while also honoring Indonesia's distinct cultural and linguistic diversity. Originality: This study uniquely explores ELPP in Indonesia's public Islamic secondary schools, highlighting the balance between English proficiency and cultural preservation, offering fresh insights into the ELPP discourse in a multicultural and multilingual context.

Abstract

Penelitian membahas pengembangan chatbot dengan platform DialogFlow yang terintegrasi pada aplikasi Telegram untuk menyediakan informasi layanan administrasi di Pemerintahan Desa Tosari. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan publik khususnya informasi layanan administrasi melalui sistem terpadu di tingkat desa guna mempercepat aliran informasi yang diperlukan, berupa pengembangan sistem kecerdasan buatan berupa Chatbot. Chatbot adalah program yang mampu berkomunikasi dengan manusia melalui pesan teks atau suara. Dengan menggunakan pemrosesan Natural Language Processing (NLP) yang merupakan bagian dari kecerdasan buatan, memungkinkan pengguna untuk berinteraksi dengan komputer menggunakan bahasa sehari-hari, seolah-olah sedang berbicara dengan manusia. Pengujian Usability dengan System Usability Scale (SUS) dan pengujian pengalaman pengguna pada chatbot dengan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) menunjukkan hasil yang positif, pengujian SUS memperoleh nilai akhir sebesar 86 dan UEQ memperoleh rata – rata nilai skala diatas 0,8, yaitu berada pada level Excellent. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi chatbot efektif dalam memberikan informasi layanan administrasi di Pemerintahan Desa Tosari

Abstract

Shallots are a high-value horticultural commodity in high demand due to their role in food security. While the demand for shallots increases significantly each year alongside population growth, it has not been matched by stable production increases due to cultivation constraints—one of which is unfavorable environmental factors such as drought. The low tolerance of the plants to water scarcity and their shallow root systems result in inhibited nutrient absorption and reduced yields. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase shallot production, such as through mycorrhizal inoculation and appropriate NPK fertilization. This study aims to determine the optimal combination of mycorrhizal inoculation dosage and NPK fertilizer dosage to influence the growth and yield of the ‘Tajuk’ shallot variety under drought stress conditions.This research was designed as a two-factor factorial experiment arranged in a Randomized Block Design (RBD). The first factor was the mycorrhiza dose, consisting of four treatment levels: 0 g/plant (Control), 5 g/plant, 15 g/plant, and 25 g/plant. The second factor was the NPK dose, consisting of three treatment levels: 300 kg/ha (Control), 270 kg/ha, and 240 kg/ha. The analysis results showed that the treatment with an NPK dose of 300 kg/ha and a mycorrhiza dose of 25 g/plant significantly increased plant height, root length, chlorophyll content, and dry weight.The prominent advantage of these findings lies in proving that mycorrhizal symbiosis acts as a powerful biological buffer, maximizing Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE) and significantly enhancing the crop's physiological resilience against water deficit. Based on these results, it is highly recommended that farmers cultivating shallots in drylands or drought-prone areas integrate 25 g/plant of mycorrhizal inoculant with the standard 300 kg/ha NPK fertilization.
